Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cross or block bottom valve sack made of paper, plastic film or the like.Foldable material for in particular dusty or powdery filling material with a filling valve which is incorporated in one of its two sack bottoms delimited laterally by bottom side fold lines in the area of a valve-forming corner wrap and one on the filler neck of one Pneumatic filling device that can be pushed on, has a valve hose protruding into the sack interior at one end via the valve-forming corner wrench, which is provided in its end region protruding into the sack interior with a cross-sectional constriction that starts from the longitudinal hose edges lying opposite one another in the flat state of the valve hose and ends at the inner end edge of the valve hose , wherein the cross-sectional narrowing of edge-side material connections between the two material layers of the flat valve tube is formed and the material connections are each formed by an adhesive application on a flat material blank forming an initial workpiece of the valve hose in the area adjacent to the longitudinal edges of the hose
  • DE-B-1 115 118 describes a sack of the type specified above, in which a good closure of the valve after the valve tube is narrowed in cross-section towards the inside of the sack without its external gluing and without additional handling for closing the filled sack Filling process is achieved.
  • This closure takes place by pressing together the part of the valve tube projecting into the sack interior under the pressure of the filled product, the valve tube opening narrowing towards the sack interior being intended to facilitate the sealing process.
  • the material connections in the form of adhesive applications between the two material layers of the flat-lying valve tube to form the cross-sectional constriction have the shape of elongated rectangular strips in the known sack, and the material of the valve tube consists of the usual sack material, namely paper.
  • the invention is concerned with the difficulties which arise when filling cross or block bottom valve sacks from the specified, practical air-impermeable materials with dusty or powdery filling materials using pneumatic filling devices in that the air which is pressed into the sack during the filling process as a result of the air-impermeable sack material cannot easily escape outdoors.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object to provide a cross or block bottom valve sack of the type specified, in which, without perforations and the like. Vent openings in the sack material, reliable venting of the sack is achieved in particular during the filling process via the filter valve hose, but at the same time one Dusting of filling material particles is avoided with certainty.
  • the valve hose is designed as a gas-permeable filter material that retains filler particles
  • the filter valve hose sealingly accommodating the filler neck end with its cross-sectional constriction
  • the adhesive applications have the shape of a triangle in such an arrangement that the hypotenuses of the triangles in the filter valve hose face each other are and converge to the inner end edge of the filter valve hose
  • the filter valve hose is designed in its inner end region like a sealing collar acting as a clamping ring, which in the state of the valve bag pushed onto the filler neck of the filling machine Fills the filler neck end with a corresponding conical taper.
  • the air can be removed from the inside of the sack during the filling process by suction via the filler neck of the filling machine if, in addition to an inner tube for pneumatically filling the sack with the contents, it has a concentric outer jacket tube which is connected to a suction source and in it outer circumferential wall is provided with suction slots which, when the valve bag is plugged onto the filler neck, are overlapped by the area of the filter valve hose which is kept free of the cross-sectional constriction.
  • the filter valve hose is drawn under the suction against the casing tube, covering its suction slots, so that only the air is sucked out through the filter valve hose and the filling material particles are retained inside the sack. Dusting of the filling material during the filling process is definitely avoided in this way.
  • Suitable filter material for the filter valve hose are all suitable materials with the required gas or air permeability with a corresponding particle retention capacity, such as filter paper in particular, such as is used for the production of vacuum cleaner filter bags.
  • the filter valve tube can also be designed as a half tube, the other tube half consisting of normal, air-impermeable material.
  • the filter valve half hose can be arranged either in the upper or in the lower valve half. The connection of the two halves of the material takes place essentially in one of the longitudinal edges of the hose of the flat lying filter valve hose containing level.
  • the filter effect can be further improved in that the filter valve hose has a microperforation that extends at least over a partial surface of the filter material outside of its connection areas with the bag bottom.
  • the filter valve hose can also be provided on its outside with a lining sleeve made of filter material in its area projecting into the sack interior.
  • the filter material of the feed sleeve can be made of the same material as the filter valve hose or of a different filter material, e.g. a suitable non-woven fabric.
  • a single-ply cross-bottom valve sack made of paper is shown, in whose place a cross-bottom valve sack made of two or more layers of material can also occur.
  • material layers consisting entirely of paper
  • material layers comprising paper, e.g. paper laminated with plastic and / or metal foils as a barrier layer, or barrier layer intermediate layers made of metal, plastic foils and the like. Materials are used.
  • plastic films alone are also considered as sack material.
  • the material sides or layers consisting of paper are preferably used, which allow the use of starch-based adhesives customary in paper sack production.
  • the bottom middle fold line is designated by 1
  • the two bottom side fold lines at 2 and 3 are each illustrated by a dashed line.
  • the two bottom envelopes are labeled 4 and 5.
  • the valve-forming corner turn is shown, which bears the reference number 6.
  • the width measured transversely to the bottom center line 1 exceeds twice the bottom width of the finished cross bottom, as results from the transverse dimension between the bottom side fold lines 2 and 3.
  • the material blank 7 is the starting workpiece of the filter valve hose 7 'to be formed in the course of the completion of the cross bottom (FIGS. 2 and 3) and has an envelope 8 which is folded over onto itself and with which it is attached With the help of two parallel, strip-shaped adhesive applications 9 and 10 is glued to the corner wrap 6.
  • the envelope 8 forms an inner ring pocket of the filter valve hose 7 'which increases the filter area.
  • the material blank 7 projects beyond the inner edge 11 of the corner wrap 6, so that the finished filter valve hose 7 'has a hose region protruding into the sack interior.
  • an outer sealing sleeve 12 is incorporated, which is glued into the open cross bottom according to FIG. 1 with the aid of adhesive layers 13 and 14 on the flat material blank 7 in the area between the bottom side fold lines 2 and 3.
  • the width of the outer closure sleeve 12 corresponds essentially to the width of the finished cross base; it can also be smaller than the base width in adaptation to the valve channel diameter predetermined by the width of the filter valve hose 7 '.
  • the outer sealing sleeve 12 has an inner layer made of thermoplastic material, which can be converted from a normally non-adhesive state for a tight closure of the filling valve with the application of heat to an adhesive or sealable state.
  • the outer sealing sleeve 12 is glued to the corner wrap 6 with an outer protrusion 15 over the adjacent end edge 16 of the material blank 7 by means of an adhesive application 17, in which air passage channels 18 from the inside of the bag or the filter valve hose 7 'to the outside of the bag are left.
  • FIG. 1 which comprises an adhesive longitudinal application 19 running in the longitudinal direction of the base and a transverse adhesive application 20 running transversely thereto.
  • the adhesive layers 19 and 20, like the other adhesive layers, are symbolized by hatching in FIGS. 1 and 2 and by small circles in FIG. 3.
  • the filter valve hose 7 ' is in a corresponding manner Longitudinal area of its part protruding into the inside of the sack beyond the corner wrap edge 11 is firmly connected to the bottom side envelope 4, after this is first folded inwards to close the bottom and then the bottom side envelope 5 is folded over it, with the help of the adhesive application 19 also the material blank 7 to form a longitudinal seam to the valve hose 7 'has been closed.
  • the inner part of the valve hose 7 'is thus not freely movable, but is fixed on the bottom of the bag.
  • valve tube 7 also occupies a defined position in its inner region, and it is prevented that the inner part of the valve tube is pulled out when the bag is ejected due to any residual suction effect of the filler neck.
  • the adhesive layers 21 each have the shape of a triangle, the cathets of which border on the inner end edge 22 of the material blank 7 and on the adjacent bottom side fold line 2 or 3 in the region of the respective bottom side envelope 4 or 5.
  • the hypotenuses of the triangular adhesive layers 21 each face each other and converge towards the inner end edge 22 of the filter valve tube 7', as can be seen in particular in FIG. 2 can be seen.
  • a cross-sectional constriction 23 of the free valve channel is formed in the end region of the filter valve hose 7 'which projects into the sack interior and which, based on the flat state of the filter valve hose 7', as can be seen from FIG. 2, is the basic shape has a symmetrical trapezoid which lies in the plane occupied by the longitudinal tube edges of the filter valve tube 7 'defined by the bottom side fold lines 2, 3 and the shorter of the two parallel sides of which is essentially flush with the inner end edge 22 of the filter valve tube 7'.
  • the flat-lying filter valve hose 7' When the filter valve hose 7 'is pushed onto the filler neck of a filling device, the flat-lying filter valve hose 7' is expanded to a substantially cylindrical shape over the major part of its length, while in its inner end region the trapezoidal cross-sectional constriction 23 in the flat-lying state of the filter valve hose 7 'assumes a funnel-shaped shape and seals against the correspondingly tapered end of the filler neck with frictional engagement.
  • FIGS. 2 and 3 formed by folding the bottom side envelopes 4 and 5 inward, can have a bottom cover sheet (not shown) glued to the outside of the bottom side envelopes 4, 5, which is dimensioned as long in the area of the valve-forming corner wrap 6 as the outer end is that it is essentially flush with the outer closure sleeve 12.
  • air passage channels from the inside of the bag or the filter valve hose 7 'to the outside of the bag corresponding to the air passage channels 18 can again be left in the adhesive of the bottom cover sheet with the adjacent position of the outer sealing sleeve 12, in order to enable further venting of the filled bag after the filling process has ended.
  • the bottom cover sheet from a different material that is air-permeable in contrast to the rest of the bag material.
  • the outer protrusion 15 with respect to the filter valve hose 7 ' also largely prevents the filter material from wicking, so that moisture absorption from the outside, even when the filled sack is stored over the filter material, is essentially ruled out.
