They are mutually bent out of the main plane (drawing plane of FIGS. 1 and 2) as alternately diverging barb-like latching tongues 34, 35 and, as can be seen from FIG. 4, reach under the longitudinal edges of the insertion opening 22 in the clamp carrier 23.
- the side edges of the legs 25 and 26 are expediently sharp-edged in the region of the outer section of the plug 21 in order to destroy any insulating coating in the reveal of the insertion opening 22 when it is inserted.
