Definitions
- the invention relates to a bell spinning device according to the preamble of claim 1. It should be pointed out that in the context of this application the term “spinning” is also a twisting and the term “bell” means any yarn-guiding rotating body, e.g. also wing-like structures.
- the object of the present invention is to enable a controllable and influenceable balloon formation above the bell while simultaneously feeding the thread into the bell's axis of rotation and thereby helping bell spinning to break through.
- This object is achieved by the characterizing feature of claim 1. It is now possible, by designing the balloon, to satisfy the specific requirements of the yarn to be spun in terms of its nature, yarn number, tension, moisture, etc., so that an optimally matched one Spinning can occur without breaking the thread. At the same time, by inserting the thread into the axis of rotation, the bell bearing can be made smaller, which means that the circulation speeds can be reduced.
- the present invention is not concerned with the configuration of the lower bell region and with the thread guidance that has taken place in this region. Relevant exemplary embodiments can be found e.g.
- Fig. 1 shows a bell 1 which is rotatably mounted about an axis of rotation 2 and engages around a spindle 3.
- the drivable spindle 3 together with a sleeve 4 with a head packing 6 is mounted coaxially with the same axis of rotation 2.
- the bell 1 has a thread insertion attachment 8, which is connected in one piece or by another type of fastening to the body 11 of the bell 1.
- the attachment 8 has a vertical, central bore 9 in the area where the bell narrows and an upwardly diverging shape.
- the bell 1 together with the attachment 8 represents a rotating body.
- In the diverging part of the attachment 8 there is a single, obliquely upwardly directed inlet channel 10 which opens into the bore 9.
- the storage 12 of the bell 1 is located in the area where the bell narrows to the attachment 8 and is fixed but adjustable in height with a thread eyelet 13.
- the bell 1 In the rotational axis direction, the bell 1 can be fixed and the Spindle 3 can be movable or vice versa, so that the bell 1 and the spindle 3 are movable relative to each other, the set distance between the thread eyelet 13 and the bell 1 being maintained.
- a thread 15, coming from drafting system rollers 17, runs in the running direction through the thread eyelet 18 and into the inlet channel 10, which leads the thread 15 into the axis of rotation 2 or the bore 9. The thread comes out through an opening 19 in the bell below the bearing 12.
- the thread After wrapping the thread 15 on the outer surface of the bell 1, the thread passes through a recess 20 in the lower edge of the bell onto the sleeve 4 and forms the head pack 6.
- the thread is usually guided from the head pack 6 to the drafting rollers 17;
- a continuous longitudinal slot 22 in the attachment 8 and a tab 23 on the inner wall of the bell in the area of the bore 9 are provided over a vertical partial area.
- the controlled formation of the balloon between the thread eyelet 18 and the bell 1 can be achieved on the one hand by adjusting the height of the thread eyelet (height H) and on the other hand by changing (diameter D) the thread adhesion, for example by changing the thread wrap.
- Fig. 2 shows in the diverging rotational part of the attachment 8 several inlet channels, all of which open into the bore 9 and which all form a different angle with the axis of rotation 2.
- the inlet channel 10 forms, for example, an angle 25 with the axis of rotation 2, while an inlet channel 10.1 forms another angle 25.1 with the axis of rotation 2. Due to the inclination or angular position of the channels 10 the diameter D can be influenced.
- only one inlet channel 10 is provided with a longitudinal slot 22 for the sake of clarity.
- FIG. 3 shows an embodiment in which the attachment 8 can be extended in the direction of the rotational axis, in that a head piece 26 is designed to be telescopically extendable or unscrewable. This makes it possible to influence the height H of the balloon in particular.
- a screw 28 By e.g. a screw 28, the head piece 26 in the attachment 8 can be locked in the desired position.
- the channel 10 can be located on an extendable and lockable head piece 26.1 designed as a tube angled from the axis of rotation 2, as shown in FIG. 4.
- the attachment 8.1 is therefore not a body of revolution.
- FIG. 5 shows a tubular head piece 26.2, which is arranged so that it can be extended and locked by means of latches 30 in a middle piece 31.
- the center piece 31 has a hollow disk 32 with a part-circular outer edge and is rotatably held by a dome-like lower part 34 of the attachment 8.2 and can be locked by means of latches 30.1.
- the parallel retaining walls of the lower part 34 enclosing the disk 32 have been omitted from the drawing for clarity.
- the middle piece 31 and the lower part 34 thus form a joint with one degree of freedom, the desired angular adjustment being accomplished by the catches 30.1 and the middle piece 31 forming the movable joint part.
- a ball joint would be possible, but is unnecessary.
- the bell 1 is towed by the thread 15 here.
- the spindle 3 is driven either by a belt drive or individually by an electric motor.

Abstract
