Definitions

  • the invention relates to an application device according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such an application device is known from CH-A 167 533 and from CH-A 167 534.
  • These known applicators are mine pencils.
  • the refills of such refill pencils consist of graphite and clay, the refining hardening of the refill. Such burnt leads are unsuitable for cosmetic applications.
  • GB-A 956 651 discloses an application device in which a refillable paste can be used which is produced in an extrusion process and which is fastened to a sliding element provided at the front end of a threaded spindle.
  • a grip part is in this applicator connected to a screw part in that the handle part at its end facing the screw part has a crimped edge with an opening and that the screw part is widened at its end section facing the handle part.
  • the invention has for its object to provide an applicator of the type mentioned, in which the handle part can optionally be combined with screw parts that are provided with extruded or cast leads, the threaded spindle and the threaded sleeve and esp.
  • the sliding element for the mine are always the same regardless of the screw part used.
  • the sliding member is preferably made of a plastic material.
  • the mine container is designed as a mine cartridge, into which the mine is cast.
  • the refill cartridge has at its end section facing the handle part a recess with a stop, by means of which the piston sleeve is prevented from axially moving together with an axial movement of the piston to advance the refill out of the refill cartridge.
  • the feed movement of the lead cast into the lead cartridge takes place only through the piston, because the piston sleeve is secured in the recess having the stop against an axial feed movement.
  • the used refill cartridge is removed from the grip part and a new refill cartridge with a refilled refill is attached to the grip part.
  • a screw part in combination with an extruded lead can also be used, the Screw part has a central cavity in which the piston sleeve connected to the piston is axially displaceable, the lead being arranged with its rear end section in the piston sleeve.
  • This design of the applicator differs from the design of the applicator described above, which has a cartridge as a screw part, in that an extruded lead is used. With this configuration of the application device, the screw part can remain on the handle part, so that only a used lead needs to be replaced by a new extruded lead.
  • the central cavity of the screw part has a stop for the piston sleeve at its front end, and if the piston is in the front stop position of the piston sleeve for ejection of the rest of the lead can be moved axially forward from the piston sleeve by a defined distance against the piston sleeve.
  • Such a design of the application device results in a so-called automatic ejection mechanism, with which it is easily possible to eject the rear end section of the extruded lead from the application device by rotating the screw part, which is provided in the piston sleeve of the sliding element.
  • the threaded sleeve preferably has a rear stop for the piston sleeve.
  • the retraction movement of the sliding member i.e. in particular the piston sleeve of the sliding element is defined in a defined manner, so that detachment of the piston from the piston sleeve is reliably avoided.
  • the threaded sleeve preferably has a fine internal thread section which extends along part of the axial extension of the threaded sleeve and which extends at most along half the circumference of the central hole of the threaded sleeve, the threaded sleeve on the side opposite the threaded section having a recess with dimensions corresponding to the threaded section having.
  • the threaded spindle naturally has a thread pitch corresponding to the smooth internal thread section.
  • FIG. 1 shows an application device 10 in which a front section, a middle section and a rear section of the application device, which are connected to one another, and the aligned with each other in the axial direction, separated from one another and shown one above the other.
  • the application device 10 has a shaft-shaped handle part 12 which is open on one side and closed on its rear side.
  • a threaded sleeve 14 is axially immovable and rotatably mounted.
  • the grip part 12 and the threaded sleeve 14 have interlocking catch projections 16 and a groove 18.
  • the threaded sleeve 14 has a threaded section 20, diametrically opposite a recess 22.
  • the threaded section 20 has a certain axial extent and it extends in the circumferential direction of the central hole 24 of the threaded sleeve 14 at most along half the circumference of the hole 24.
  • the threaded section 20 has a very small thread pitch, so that there is a smooth internal thread. An element with such an internal thread section is described in detail in patent application P 37 25 792.7, so that it is not necessary to go into this in more detail.
  • a threaded spindle 26 with an external thread 28 extends through the central hole 24 of the threaded sleeve 14, the external thread 28 being in engagement with the threaded section 20 of the threaded sleeve 14.
  • the threaded spindle 26 has at one end a ball head 30 and at its second end section facing away from the ball head 30 shoulders 32 and depressions 34, longitudinal ribs 36 of the shaft-shaped grip part 12 extending through the depressions 34 extending in the axial direction.
  • the longitudinal ribs 36 of the grip part 12 and the depressions 34 or the lugs 32 of the threaded spindle 26 prevent rotation of the threaded spindle 26 in relation to the grip part 12 and at the same time enable axial movement of the threaded spindle 26 relative to the shaft-shaped grip part 12.
  • a spring element 38 is integrally formed on the threaded spindle 26 at the end of the threaded spindle 26.
  • the spring element between the rear end section of the threaded spindle 26 and the rear end 40 of the shaft-shaped handle part 12 as a loose part.
  • the rear end 40 of the grip part 12 is designed as a truncated cone indentation and the spring element 38 is provided with an annular collar 42.
  • a slide member 44 is attached, which has a piston 46 and a piston sleeve 48.
  • the piston 46 has a central cavity 50 in which ribs 52 are formed.
  • a receiving space for the ball head 30 of the threaded spindle 26 is formed in the central cavity 50 by the ribs 52 and by a circumferential collar 54, in which the ball head 30 can be snapped into place.
  • the piston 46 and the piston sleeve 48 are produced in one piece in an injection molding tool provided for this purpose, the piston sleeve 48 and the piston 46 directly adjoining one another in the axial direction.
  • the piston sleeve 48 and the piston 46 are formed with predetermined breaking points along which the piston 46 is separated from the piston sleeve 48 when the sliding member 44 is arranged in the applicator 10.
  • the threaded sleeve 14 has recesses 56 into which a screw part 58 with elevations 60 snaps in such a way that the threaded sleeve 14 is firmly connected to the screw part 58.
  • a rotation of the screw part 58 around the central center line 62 results in a rotation of the threaded sleeve 14. Since the threaded spindle 26 is prevented from rotating relative to the handle part 12, a rotation of the axially immovable leads Threaded sleeve 14 for an axial displacement of the threaded spindle 26 and thus for an axial displacement of the piston 46 of the sliding member 44.
  • the piston sleeve 48 is prevented from moving with the piston 46 because the piston sleeve 48 rests in a recess 66 formed with a stop 64.
  • the lead 68 located in the screw part 58 which in particular consists of a spreadable mass, is moved out of the front opening 70 of the screw part 58 by rotating the screw part 58 by means of the piston 46 of the sliding element 44.
  • the screw part 58 is preferably designed as a refill cartridge into which the refill 68 is cast.
  • the reference numeral 72 denotes a closure cap with which the applicator 10 can be closed in order to protect the lead 68.
  • Figure 2 shows a second embodiment of the applicator 10 with a handle part 12, a threaded sleeve 14 rotatably and axially non-displaceably mounted in the handle part 12, a threaded spindle 26 which is non-rotatable but axially displaceable in the handle part 12 with respect to the handle part 12, and one provided at the front end of the threaded spindle 26 Sliding member 44, a screw 58, a lead 68 and a closure cap 72.
  • This design of the application device 10 differs from the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 in particular in that the sliding member 44 consists of a piston 46 and a piston sleeve 48 which are firmly connected to one another in the manner shown.
  • a rotation of the screw part 58 relative to the shaft-shaped handle part 12 results in a rotation of the threaded sleeve 14 which is axially immovable in the handle part 12, so that the threaded spindle 26, which is axially movable in the handle part 12 and non-rotatable against the handle part, is screwed into the threaded sleeve 14 and with a corresponding rotation of the screw part 58 the threaded sleeve 14 is screwed through. Simultaneously with this feed movement of the threaded spindle 26, the sliding member 44 executes a corresponding feed movement, so that the lead 68 fixed in the piston sleeve 48 executes a corresponding feed movement.
  • the screw part 58 is formed with a central cavity 74 which is delimited by a stop 76 at its front end.
  • the stop 76 limits the feed movement of the piston sleeve 48 of the sliding member 44, while at one corresponding rotation of the screw member 58 of the piston 46 can still be moved forward a certain distance. This results in an ejection actuation for the end section of the lead 68 present in the piston sleeve 48, so that the lead 68 can be completely ejected from the application device 10 without the lead 68 having to be touched.
  • the slide member 44 is returned to the retracted starting position by correspondingly actuating the screw part 58 and a new extruded lead 68 is arranged in the central cavity 74 of the screw part 58.
  • the sliding member 44 is arranged in the central cavity 74 to be secured against rotation, so that when the screw part 58 is actuated, only an axial movement of the lead 68 out of the screw part 58 or into the screw part 58 takes place without Mine 68 is spinning.
  • Reference numeral 78 denotes a rear stop, which is provided on the threaded sleeve 14 and which serves to limit the retraction movement of the sliding member 44 or, in particular, its piston sleeve 48.
  • FIGS. 1 and 2 the same individual parts are designated with the same reference numerals, so that it is not necessary to describe all these individual parts again in detail in connection with FIG.
