Definitions
- the invention relates to a polymer bitumen membrane for sealing roofs, building surfaces or the like. with a carrier made of fabric, fleece or the like. and a sealing layer of black polymer bitumen arranged on the underside of the carrier.
- the upper sealing layer is subject to photochemical influences, in particular that, after the slate chips applied in the factory have been weathered Sunshine, which severely affects the service life of such a roofing membrane, unless a comparatively complex gravel fill would be provided, which, however, is not possible in many cases for structural reasons.
- the invention has for its object to provide a polymer bitumen membrane of the type mentioned, which has a high sealing effect and a long service life while avoiding the aforementioned disadvantages.
- a cover layer made of a light-colored material is provided on the upper side of the carrier.
- the light color of the top layer results in a reflection of the incident sun rays, so that the life span of the polymer bitumen membrane according to the invention is considerably extended without the provision of an expensive gravel fill.
- the upper, light-colored top layer has a smooth surface, which also contributes to extending the service life, since dust can no longer cling to the top and thus there is no longer any risk of tearing and lifting off the top cover layer as a result of incrustations.
- the cover layer is designed as a sealing layer. Contrary to the conventional design, the light-colored top layer does not require any additional sprinkling or the like.
- the carrier is located directly under the protective layer.
- the raised support protects the lower, conventionally designed sealing layer, which is undivided and can therefore be thicker than normal, while the support itself is protected by the comparatively thin, light-colored protective layer serving as a covering layer.
- the cover layer is preferably made of a white material which optimizes the overall radiation effect of the web.
- the top layer is predominantly made of polyolefins, which are provided with light or white colored additives.
- the lower sealing layer and the upper covering layer are firmly adhered to the possibly pre-impregnated carrier, so that peeling cannot occur.
- the underside of the lower sealing layer can be designed as a separation and (vapor pressure) compensation layer.
- the separation and (vapor pressure) compensation layer can include be a channel system, which consists of intersecting longitudinal grooves and transverse grooves or is formed from knob-shaped projections.
- the polymer bitumen membrane advantageously has an adhesive edge on its longitudinal and / or transverse edge, which, in its profile-free configuration, not only simplifies laying but also, in particular, professional bonding in the overlap area.
- the polymer bitumen sheet has a carrier 1 made of fabric, fleece or the like. on, which is arranged approximately centrally within the web.
- a sealing layer 2 made of black polymer bitumen is arranged on the underside of the carrier 1.
- a cover layer 3 made of light-colored material is provided on the upper side of the carrier 1, which is designed as a sealing layer 4 in the embodiment according to FIG.
- the carrier 1 is placed upward within the web, so that the lower sealing layer 2 is undivided and has a comparatively large thickness.
- the carrier 1 is also covered by a cover layer 3, which is designed as a comparatively thin protective layer 5.
- the lower sealing layer is preferably made of black polymer bitumen. It has the following composition: approx. 40 - 60 mass% primary bitumen, 15 - 50 mass% polyolefins and approx. 10 - 20 mass% slate flour as filler.
- a sealing layer with the following components has proven to be particularly suitable: approx. 60 mass% b primary bitumen, approx. 30 mass% polyolefins and approx. 10 mass% slate flour as filler.
- the thickness of the lower sealing layer 2 is approximately 2-2.5 mm in the embodiment according to FIG. 1 and approximately 3.5-4 mm in the embodiment according to FIG.
- the carrier 1 advantageously consists of polyester fleece, glass fabric, glass fleece, non-woven fabric or the like.
- Carrier 1 is impregnated with approximately 70-90% by mass of primary bitumen and with approximately 10-30% by mass of polyolefins.
- the thickness of the carrier 1 is approximately 0.5-1 mm.
- the cover layer 3 preferably has the following composition: approx. 30 - 70 mass% polyolefins, approx. 20 - 65 mass% glass powder and approx. 5 - 10% by mass of dyes.
- the cover layer 3 consists of the following components: approx. 50 mass% polyolefins, approx. 45 mass% glass powder and approx. 5 mass% dyes.
- Titanium dioxide is used for the color white, chromium dioxide for green and iron oxide for red or brown.
- the thickness of the cover layer 3 is approximately 2-2.5 mm in the embodiment according to FIG. 1 and approximately 0.5-1 mm in the embodiment according to FIG.
- cover layer 3 it is also possible, in addition to the cover layer 3 other layers 2, 4, 5 preferably as the top layer 3 to color.

Abstract
