Claims (6)

  1. Couvercle étanche de bloc avec, lorsqu'il est monté, un arbre s'étendant au travers du couvercle et comportant une étanchéité pour l'arbre, efficace en dynamique, et une étanchéité pour la surface de bride du couvercle, efficace en statique, dans lequel l'étanchéité est constituée au moins par une lèvre (2) d'étanchéité élastique, le cas échéant sollicitée par un ressort et vulcanisée au couvercle et l'étanchéité statique par des bandes (3,4) d'étanchéité élastiques, saillant axialement et vulcanisées dans des réserves de la surface de bride étanche, caractérisé en ce qu'un couvercle constitué d'un corps (1) en tôle emboutie admet une section transversale essentiellement en forme de cuvette et présente trois surfaces (5,6,7) radiales disposées axialement en retrait les unes par rapport aux autres, la surface du fond du corps (1) en tôle servant de surface de bride radiale en vue de l'assujettissement du bloc pouvant étre fermé de facon étanche, la deuxième surface (7) radiale disposée en gradin et en retrait par rapport à la première servant à accueillir les bandes (3,4) d'étanchéité et la troisième surface radiale servant à fixer la lèvre (2) d'étanchéité dynamique.
  2. Couvercle étanche de bloc avec, lorsqu' il est monté, un arbre s'étendant au travers du couvercle ainsi qu'une gouttière à huile adaptée à être bridée par en dessous et comportant une étanchéité dynamique pour l'arbre de même que deux surfaces (6,10) de bride à rendre étanches en statique et se rejoignant sous en angle valant d'ordinaire 90°, la première s'étendant radialement en vue d'une fixation étanche sur le bloc de vilebrequin et la seconde s'étendant axialement en vue d'une fixation étanche de la gouttière à huile, dans lequel l'étanchéité dynamique est constituée par au moins une lèvre d'étanchéité vulcanisée à lui, élastique, le cas échéant sollicitée par un ressort, tandis que, pour l'étanchéité statique des deux surfaces (6,10) de bride, des bandes (3,4) d'étanchéité saillant axialement, respectivement radialement sur les surfaces (6,10) de bride sont vulcanisées dessus, caractérisé en ce que le couvercle est constitué par un corps (1) en tôle emboutie pour l'essentiel en forme de cuvette qui, dans la zone de la périphérie intérieure de la surface (6) de bride radiale et dans la zone de transition entre la surface (6) de bride radiale et celle (10) axiale, est profilé avec des gradins de sorte qu'une autre surface (7) est definie en retrait afin d'accueillir, respectivement d'assujettir les bandes (3,4) d'étanchéité servant à rendre étanches les deux surfaces (6,10) de bride.
  3. Couvercle étanche de bloc selon la revendication 1 ou la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que les bandes (3,4) d'étanchéité sont vulcanisées pour l'essentiel dans la zone de transition des bords arrondis de la surface (7) de bride formée en retrait de la surface (6) de bride.
  4. Couvercle étanche de bloc selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que la bande (3) d'étanchéité présente un profil (8) de section transversale saillant axialement de la surface (6) de bride radiale et à peu près à angle droit.
  5. Couvercle étanche de bloc selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que la bande (4) d'étanchéité se prolongeant en ligne droite parallèlement à la surface (10) de bride axiale saille sous en angle aigu de la surface (10) de bride axiale.
  6. Couvercle étanche de bloc selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que la bande (3') d'étanchéité présente une surface extérieure profilée plusieurs fois.
