Claims (4)

1. Appareil d'éclairage comportant un boîtier (11) formant un blindage anti-déflagrant et, fixé sur celui-ci, un couvercle en matériau transparent formant également un blindage anti-déflagrant ainsi que des composants électriques (14, 15) logés à l'intérieur du boîtier (11) et destinés à l'alimentation en courant électrique d'au moins une lampe (25) située dans le couvercle (12), caractérisé par le fait que le boîtier (11) et le couvercle (12) sont réalisés chacun en matière plastique et qu'il est prévu avec les composants électriques (14, 15) ou la lampe (25), dans le boîtier (11) ou dans le couvercle (12), des éléments de remplissage (16, 21; 26, 27) de volume important, le volume des éléments de remplissage (16, 21; 26, 27) étant tel qu'il subsiste entre la surface intérieure du boîtier (11) et la surface extérieure des éléments de remplissage (16, 21; 26, 27) et les composants électriques (14, 15) un volume résiduel (22, 28) libre inférieur à 3.000 cm3 ou que la zone translucide du couvercle (12) occupe une surface inférieure à 8.000 cm2.
2. Appareil d'éclairage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que les éléments de remplissage (16, 21) à l'intérieur du boîtier servent au moins partiellement de support pour les composants électriques (14, 15).
3. Appareil d'éclairage selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé par le fait que les éléments de remplissage sont en matière plastique, de préférence en matière plastique moussée.
4. Appareil d'éclairage selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé par le fait que les éléments de remplissage se présentent sous la forme de grains et que l'on utilise pour cela du sable, de la poudre de quartz, des billes de verte, des éléments en duroplastes ou en thermoplastes, des éléments en élastomère, de la céramique et du métal ainsi qu'une combinaison de ces matériaux et liquides.
