Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for lifting the top layer of fabric of an elastically compressible stack with a removal element for the top layer of material which can be moved over the stack, which removal element is pressed onto the stack with the smooth lower surface of a pressure element in such a way that at least one swell forms.
  • the pressure element there is a narrow finger-like element which can attack the upper layer of fabric and can be displaced in relation to the rectangular pressure element within the central opening. If this shift takes place, the swelling located within the central opening is folded and clamped against the inner edge of the central opening, which is opposite the relatively displaceable organ. The layer of fabric clamped in this way at two points can then be raised and removed. An undesired shifting of the upper layer of fabric is prevented on the other edge of the layer of fabric by a sharp-edged pressure element that can be pressed in from above.
  • the aim of the invention is to create a method in which the separation of the layers of fabric stacked on one another is ensured regardless of the type of material, without the risk of damage to the fabric layers.
  • This goal is achieved in the first place by using a pressure element whose surface contacting the upper layer of fabric has a coefficient of friction with respect to the respective upper layer of fabric, which is less than the coefficient of friction of the fabric, the pressure element after pressing on the stack the swelling is shuffling before transversely moved toward its longitudinal axis to one edge of the stack, the Warpage enlarged and then the top layer of fabric by acting on the size Warpage i F device removed from the stack and a processing station is supplied.
  • a smoothness of the surface is necessary which allows the printing element to be moved over the upper layer of fabric, whereby the upper layer of fabric is loosened in relation to the layer of fabric located underneath.
  • the Warpage produced by d-downstream pressure is increased 'to the direction of movement of Druckelemei and upstream smoothed ohi that this damage to the fabric layer to be lifted may result.
  • the increasing swell then forms the point of attack for a device and a suction device with which the loosened upper layer of fabric can be removed.
  • a method for lifting off the topmost layer of material of an elastically compressible stack using an underpressure which is generated by an air jet which is directed onto an obliquely upwardly extending plate located above the stack , such that the top layer of fabric is raised by the negative pressure generated below the plate.
  • FIGS. 3a through 3c according to which a curved shell is held against the upper layer of fabric and an air jet is blown over the surface of the shell in such a way that a negative pressure is created below the upstream, downstream edge of the shell forms, which should raise the upper layer of fabric.
  • the raised layer of fabric can then be gripped and moved according to FIGS. 9 and 10 with the aid of sharp pencils.
  • a pressure element the smooth surface of which touches the upper layers of fabric has a coefficient of friction with respect to the topmost layer of fabric, which is less than the coefficient of friction of the fabric, among each other, over and in pressure contact with the Stack is moved from an initial position above the stack to form a swell to the edge thereof, the plate with the pressure element being moved in the direction of said edge, the obliquely upward part of the plate running in the direction of said edge, and that the pressure element thereafter, without exerting pressure, is moved back into the region of the starting position while the negative pressure is generated via the stack, as a result of which the top layer of fabric, which is loosened and displaced by the swelling produced, is lifted off the stack by the negative pressure.
  • the invention also relates to a device for carrying out the method according to claim 1, which device has a pressure element which is designed as a hollow body which can be moved transversely to the longitudinal axis and has suction and blowing openings.
  • the pressure element which is designed as a hollow body and is movable transversely to its longitudinal axis, has suction nozzles, the swelling is sucked up against the hollow body in front of the pressure element, and the removal and removal of the uppermost layer of material is accomplished in this way.
  • blowing nozzles the swelling of the fabric layer is sucked into the hollow body by using the Coanda effect, removed and carried away.
  • the invention also relates to a device for carrying out the method according to claim 2, wherein according to the invention the plate with the pressure element extends obliquely upwards at an acute angle to the surface of the stack and one or more blowing openings are provided above the plate and directed towards the surface of the plate . These create a vacuum below the plate, causing the loosened upper layer of fabric to be raised against the lower side of the plate.
  • Force is given by a force directed in the horizontal direction by the arrow (10)
  • a movement towards the edge of the stack (3) transversely to the longitudinal axis of the pressure element (8) takes place.
  • the swell (7) in front of the pressure element (8) is bulged much more, ie considerably enlarged, while the swell (6) behind the pressure element (8) is pulled smooth.
  • the uppermost layer of fabric (1) can then be gripped easily and securely on the enlarged swell (7), for example by a suction pipe (11) of a removal device running parallel to the pressure element (8) and removed from the stack (3).
  • the pressure element which is designed as a hollow body (8) with an air slot or air openings, is connected to a vacuum source that is switched on during the transverse displacement, the top layer of fabric (1) in the area of the enlarged swell (7) is attached to the surface of the hollow body (8). sucked in, if necessary supported by rotation of the hollow body (8).
  • the pressure element is designed as a bent edge (12) with a rounded edge (13) of a plate (14) which is directed obliquely upwards from the edge (12) to the edge of the stack (3) . Due to the smooth rounded edge (13), a shift over the top layer of fabric (1) of the stack (3) take place under pressure contact (force according to arrow 16, Fig. 3a) by a force directed in the direction of arrow (15), Fig. 3a.
  • Fig. 3a shows that when moving in the direction of arrow (15) first the swelling or bulging of the layers of fabric takes place. From Fig. 3b it can be seen that when the edge (12) approaches the edge of the stack (3), the swell (7) relaxes and the edge region of the layers of fabric moves in a scaly manner beyond the edge of the stack (3) . The plate (14) is then raised slightly so that the force acting in the direction of the arrow (16) no longer acts on the stack (3) and the plate (14) in the direction of the arrow (17) in its starting position or in the Is moved back close to it. During this movement, compressed air is blown onto the top of the plate (14) through a line (18) arranged above the plate (14).
  • This layer of fabric (1) can then be gripped by known acceptance techniques and fed to a desired location.
