Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for locking a forward and backward moving breech head at the rear end of a weapon barrel, which has an inner circumferential groove and behind it a flange with an internal toothing, with an external toothing on the breech head, the teeth of the in the locked position of the breech head
  • the external teeth of the locking head are located in the circumferential groove and are supported on the teeth of the internal teeth.
  • a locking device on straight draw locks of small arms is known (see CH-A-51131 of March 9, 1910), in which the lock piece is locked on the lock housing, locking lugs provided on the rotatable cylinder of the lock piece being rotated in niches which are at the ends of guide grooves are intended for the warts.
  • the side walls of the locking recesses have parts which form a large angle of inclination with the longitudinal axis of the guide grooves and parts which adjoin these and the guide grooves and which form a smaller angle of inclination with the longitudinal axis of the guide grooves.
  • the object that is to be achieved with the present invention is to provide a device in which damage to the teeth of the internal teeth on the weapon barrel and the teeth of the external teeth of the breech head is avoided by the rebound of the breech head.
  • the device with which this object is achieved is characterized in that the circumferential groove has bevels on its front annular surface which are inclined with respect to the weapon barrel axis in such a way that when the breech head is locked it is pushed back along the bevels and a play-free locking of the Locking head on the gun barrel is guaranteed.
  • the inner circumferential groove preferably has a front toothing on its front ring surface, with gaps between the teeth, into which the teeth of the closure head penetrate during its advance, so that an overstroke of the closure head is ensured during its advance.
  • Fig. 1 only part of the breech housing 2 is shown of a weapon.
  • the rear end of a weapon barrel 1 is fastened to this breech housing 2 in a conventional manner, not shown here.
  • This rear end of the weapon barrel 1 has a flange 4 provided with internal teeth 3.
  • In front of this flange 4 there is a circumferential groove 5 in the interior of the weapon barrel 1.
  • Behind the weapon barrel 1 a bolt carrier 6 is arranged inside the bolt housing 2, to which a bolt carrier sleeve 7 is fastened.
  • a cylindrical closure body 8 is rotatably mounted in this closure carrier sleeve 7.
  • This closure body 8 has at its front end a closure head 9 which is provided with an external toothing 10.
  • the gaps between the teeth 3 of the flange 4 are dimensioned such that the teeth 10 of the closure head 9 can be pushed through these gaps.
  • the locking body 8 can be rotated with the locking head 9 by one tooth pitch.
  • the teeth 10 of the breech head 9 are then exactly in front of the teeth 3 of the flange 4 on the gun barrel 1, whereby the breech block 8 is locked with the breech head 9 in the gun barrel 1.
  • a control bolt 11 is fastened to the closure body 8 in order to rotate the closure body 8 in the closure carrier sleeve 7.
  • This control pin 11 protrudes with its two ends into a helical control groove 12 of the closure carrier sleeve 7. Only one of these two control grooves 12 is visible in FIG. 1.
  • a sleeve 17 is rotatably supported, which protrude into the helical grooves 12 of the closure carrier sleeve 7.
  • the breech 6 with the breech sleeve 7 is in its foremost position, in which the breech 8 is locked with the breech head 9 in the barrel 1.
  • the control pin 11 is thus located at the rear end of the helical control groove 12.
  • the breech block 6 with the breech block sleeve 7 is pushed backwards by the gas pressure, first through the retracting weapon barrel 1 and then through a plunger (not shown), the breech block 6 being itself moves relative to the closure body 8 and the closure head 9.
  • the control pin 11 moves in the helical control groove 12, the breech 8 being rotated in the breech sleeve 7 and the locking between the breech head 9 and weapon barrel 1 being released, so that the breech head 9 with its teeth 10 slide between the teeth 3 of the flange 4 can and the breech body 8 moves back with the breech 9 relative to the weapon barrel 1
  • Locking takes place in the opposite way.
  • the relative movement between the breech body 8 and the breech carrier 6 takes place only when the breech body has reached its foremost position and the teeth 10 of the breech body 8 are located in the circumferential groove 5 of the weapon barrel 1.
  • two rows of teeth 13 and 14 are present on the breech head 9, which engages in a corresponding internal toothing of the weapon barrel 1, also with two rows of teeth.
  • the teeth 13 and 14 of the closure head 9 have a bevel 15 at their front end. 16 on.
  • the closure head 9 has a steep internal thread 19, into which a bolt (not shown) engages with a correspondingly steep external thread. This bolt fastened to the closure body 8 causes the closure head 9 to rotate.
  • the control groove 12 described in the first embodiment is therefore no longer required in this embodiment.
  • the teeth 13 have an edge 29 which is rounded.
  • the formation of the annular surface 18 as a spur toothing with teeth 20 and gaps 21, which are provided with bevels 22 and flanks 23 and the formation of the teeth 3 of the flange 4 with a bevel 27 on the end face 26 are part of the invention and their meaning and mode of action should therefore in the following be described in detail.
  • the circumferential groove 5 is preferably so wide that a play-free locking of the breech head 9 in the gun barrel 1 is ensured, ie the distance between the end faces 26 of the teeth 3 of the internal gearing on the gun barrel 1 and the end faces 18 of the teeth 20 of the front toothing on the gun barrel corresponds to the width of the teeth 13 of the external teeth on the breech head 9.
