Definitions

  • the invention relates to a facade panel consisting of a lower insulating layer, a reinforcement and an upper plaster layer.
  • the invention is concerned with a wall element made with facade panels.
  • facade panels of the type mentioned above can be used in a variety of ways, since they not only allow a facade to be redesigned later, but also have the effect of thermal insulation. An important and preferred area of application is therefore in the field of modernizing old buildings.
  • facade panels are also often used in new buildings, for example to give the house a pleasing appearance. Furthermore, the facade panels are also used in light-weight houses (e.g. made of wood) to subsequently give the impression of a solid house. Finally, the facade panels are also ideal for cladding interior walls, for example in basements.
  • facade panels can therefore be considered of considerable importance because of their diverse application possibilities. Contrary to this meaning, however, there are still disadvantageous circumstances of the known facade panels, whereby these disadvantages are primarily due to the connection of several facade panels to a large facade surface.
  • the known facade panels have, among other things, relatively handy and small dimensions for transport reasons, and therefore if a large area is to be covered, several individual facade panels must be arranged side by side or one above the other. The connection of the individual facade panels with each other is of particular importance.
  • the aim is to make the connection quite simple, and it is known to make the connections between the individual facade panels according to the tongue and groove principle.
  • the sides to be connected to one another are serrated or stepped, the corresponding projections of one panel then engaging in the corresponding recesses of the other panel in the case of two facade panels lying next to one another.
  • connection points become optically visible after a long time, giving the impression of a full-surface wall gets destroyed. Rather, the connection points of the wall that have become visible give an optically unattractive appearance, which allows the individual facade panels to stand out.
  • connection points The visibility of the connection points is due to weather-related influences; Rain and dirty water in particular have the effect of making the connection points appear visually after a long period of time. It is therefore not possible with the known facade panels to clad a facade element consisting of several panels or a large-area wall, while maintaining the impression of a full-surface wall.
  • the facade panel mentioned in the preamble of claim 1 in that the facade panel has a fold on at least two sides in the area of the plaster layer, and that flat facing bricks are arranged on the plaster layer.
  • adjacent facade panels can be arranged bluntly next to one another, the adjacent folds then forming a connection area.
  • a reinforcement layer can be embedded in this connection area and then plastered.
  • the connection area formed by the folds between two adjacent facade panels is completely filled and covered.
  • no rain or dirty water can get from the outside, so that this connection area is not visible after a long time even under the influence of water.
  • the invention enables for the first time the production of a really full-surface wall consisting of several individual facade panels.
  • the individual facade panels are already provided with flat facing bricks, and after a plurality of facade facing panels have been arranged next to one another or also one above the other, and after the reinforcement layer has been provided, such flat facing bricks can also be glued to this reinforcement layer in the connection area, as a result of which the full-surface overall impression of the finished product Facade element is still supported. In retrospect, it is no longer visually recognizable that the facade element was composed of several individual facade panels.
  • the reinforcement layer can also be glued by the two folds formed connection area. If the reinforcement layer has a reinforcement with a metal grid, there is also the possibility of providing claws which are introduced into prefabricated bores which are located in the fold areas. In all cases, a mechanical fastening of the reinforcement layer and a connection of adjacent facade panels is achieved, and on the other hand it is ensured that the connection point remains invisible after completion and thus the desired impression of a full-surface wall is created and is also maintained under the influence of the weather.
  • the facade panel 10 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of a lower insulating layer 16, a reinforcement 18 located above it and an upper plaster layer 20.
  • Flat facing bricks 22 are laminated or glued onto the plaster layer 20.
  • the flat facing bricks 22 give the facade panel the impression of a wall made of stones.
  • the facade panel 10 has a recess in the form of a fold 12 and 14 on each of two opposite longitudinal sides.
  • the flat facing bricks 22 on the plaster layer 20 extend at most to the edge formed by the folds 12 and 14, but leave the folds 12 and 14 themselves free.
  • the two facade panels 10 and 26 abut each other with their adjacent folds 12 and 30.
  • a depression or a connection area is formed in the area of the two folds 30 and 12, in which a reinforcing layer 24 is embedded.
  • the reinforcement layer 24 overlaps both the fold 12 of the right facade panel 10 and the fold 30 of the left facade panel 26.
  • the reinforcement layer 24 consists of a reinforcement fabric known per se, for example a glass fabric coated with composite mortar.
  • a metal grid can also be used, which is provided with claws, not shown. These claws can then be introduced into prefabricated bores in the area of the folds 12 and 30.
  • connection area formed by the two folds 12 and 30 After the reinforcement layer 24 is embedded in the connection area formed by the two folds 12 and 30, it is then plastered, so that a seamless transition point between the two plaster layers of the adjacent facade panels 12 and 30 is created.
  • flat facing bricks 22 are glued on in this connection area, some of which are shown in broken lines in FIG. 3. After the entire connection area is provided with such flat facing bricks 22, the visual impression of a full-surface facade element 26 is created, in which the connection point or the connection area is no longer visually visible.
  • the flat facing bricks 22 can consist of quartz sand with synthetic resin components and can both be glued and laminated onto the plaster layer 20. If the flat facing bricks 22 according to FIG. 1 are arranged in an offset from one another on the facade panel 10, this offset will later be retained when the flat facing bricks 22 are stuck on in the area of the reinforcement layer 24, so that the visual impression of a full-surface wall is ensured.
  • connection of two adjacent facade panels 10 and 26 explained with reference to FIG. 3 can also be used in a corner configuration, if two facade panels abut one another at an angle.
  • the facade panels according to the invention have a relatively light weight, so that they are easy to transport without large transport costs.
  • the production of a facade element 28 consisting of several facade panels can also be carried out without further ado in the form of self-assembly, without the need for specialists.
  • the reinforcement layer 24 prevents - as already mentioned above - rain or dirty water from the outside from reaching the connection area where adjacent facade panels 10, 30 are butted against one another.
  • this connection area is a critical point because water drips down due to a capillary effect, which then makes the connection point visible.
  • the invention cannot Capillary rainwater penetrate so that the impression of a full-surface wall is obtained and remains.
