Definitions

  • the invention relates to a single-sided corrugated cardboard machine with a machine frame in which two intermeshing corrugating rollers and a press roller are rotatably mounted, the axes of which lie approximately in a common plane, preferably inclined to the vertical, the machine frame being on one side of the plane on the ground supports, with two parallel, spaced longitudinal struts running transversely to the roll package, which are detachable on the other side of the plane with the machine frame, but can be firmly connected and as a holder for parts that interact with the roll package and extend transversely to the longitudinal struts, such as guide plates, press roll wipers or the like serve.
  • Such a single-sided corrugated cardboard machine has become known from GB-A-1 127 427 or DE-A - 2 001 543.
  • two longitudinal beams or struts are provided which carry hydraulic motors at the ends which cooperate with lever arms in order to adjust the upper corrugating roller and the pressing roller relative to the lower corrugating roller.
  • the only connection of the longitudinal beams to the frame is in the area of the bearing for the lower corrugating roller, while the ends of the beams protrude freely upwards.
  • Two transverse elements extend between the side members. One is in the area of the bolting on the machine frame and forms a baffle.
  • the second consists of a round rod, which is connected to the housings of the lower motors and carries the press roller scraper.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a single-sided corrugated cardboard machine that allows quick and easy access to the roll package, in particular for replacing a corrugated roller.
  • longitudinal struts form a rigid frame with cross struts, which as a complete unit can be removed from the machine frame.
  • the part of the machine frame which is supported on the ground surrounds the roller package in an approximately U-shaped manner.
  • the rigid frame spans this part of the frame and is firmly connected to it.
  • the rigid frame thus forms a type of stiffening or a type of tie rod which counteracts the forces to be pushed apart of the rolls of the roll package.
  • the rigid frame is used to hold or store machine parts that interact with the roller package.
  • This is, for example, a baffle that is used to guide the corrugated material web between the gap of the corrugated rollers.
  • This also includes a guide roller which interacts with such a guide plate.
  • Another part that interacts with the roll package is a so-called press roll scraper, which ensures that contaminants adhering to the circumference of the press roll are removed.
  • the deflection roller which is used to feed the cover sheet to the press roller, can also be stored in a rigid frame.
  • the rigid frame is detachably connected to the machine frame. It can therefore be removed from the machine frame with all parts mounted on it. After removing the rigid frame, the entire set of rollers is freely accessible. After loosening the bearing flanges and connections for steam heating, etc.
  • an advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the rigid frame is mounted on the machine frame so that it can pivot about a lower axis of rotation.
  • the rigid frame thus forms a one-armed lever with a pivot point in the lower part of the machine frame. To remove the frame, it then only needs to be pivoted by a certain angle against a predetermined stop so that the roller package is freely accessible from this side.
  • the rigid frame is preferably attached with the aid of screws which can be used both in the upper and in the lower end.
  • the frame is formed by two parallel beams, which can be connected to one another by a cross strut, for example at the upper end.
  • positively interacting contact surfaces are provided on the frame and on the machine frame.
  • the positive locking means that the frame is fixed in the plane of its extent. A relative displacement of the frame and frame in the opposite direction is prevented by screws.
  • forcing screws are arranged at the upper and / or lower end of the rigid frame for the purpose of lifting the frame from the machine frame. So also in the In the vicinity of the fulcrum, lifting with the help of a jackscrew can be carried out, it is advisable if the pivot bearing is carried out via an elongated hole.
  • Single-sided corrugated cardboard machines often use so-called vacuum or suction boxes, which are arranged on the side of the lower corrugating roller, which is not covered by the corrugated web.
  • a vacuum is created via circumferential grooves in the corrugating roller, which ensures that the corrugated web is firmly attached to the corrugating roller.
  • such a vacuum box can also be arranged firmly on the rigid frame. When the rigid frame is removed or when it is folded down, the vacuum box is also moved automatically.
  • the single figure shows an extremely schematic one-sided machine with a rigid frame.
  • the one-sided machine shown in the figure has an upper corrugating roller 10 and a cooperating lower corrugating roller 11 and a pressing roller 12.
  • the axes of the rollers 10 to 12 lie approximately in a plane which is inclined to the horizontal by a certain angle.
  • a glue application device is also assigned to the lower corrugating roller 11, but this is not shown here.
  • the rollers 10 to 12 are mounted in a machine frame 13 in a manner not shown.
  • the lower corrugating roller 11 is fixedly mounted with respect to its axis, while the rollers 10 and 12 are supported in a known manner on arms which are pressed against the lower corrugating roller 11 1 with the aid of a pneumatic or hydraulic pressing device.
  • the machine frame 13 engages around the roller package in a U-shape. Free access is closed by a rigid frame 14, the plane of which is approximately parallel to the plane in which the axes of the rollers 10 to 12 are arranged.
  • the rigid frame 14 consists of two parallel beams, one of which is shown at 15.
  • the carrier 15 can be firmly connected to one another by one or more struts.
  • the carriers 15 are recessed at 16 at the upper end and at the lower end at 17, the recess interacting positively with a section of the machine frame 13. From the figure it can be seen that the rigid frame 14 is immovably fixed in the position shown with respect to displacements in its plane up or down.
  • the rigid frame 14 forms a one-armed lever. It has pivots at the lower end, one of which is shown at 18. It cooperates with an elongated hole 19 of a bearing bracket 20. The extension of the elongated hole 19 is approximately perpendicular to the plane of the rigid frame 14.
  • the rigid frame 14 is at the upper end as shown at 21 and at the lower end as shown at 22 With the help of screws firmly connected to the machine frame 13. Forcing screws are also arranged in the rigid frame 14 at the upper and lower ends, as indicated at 24 and 25, respectively.
  • the rigid frame 14 forms a type of tie rod which holds the lower and upper sections of the machine frame 13 together and prevents them from being moved apart by the diverging pressure in the roller package. Even slight deformations impair the effective engagement of the corrugated rollers 10, 11 with one another.
  • a deflection roller 26 for the corrugated web 27 and a deflection roller 28 for the cover sheet 29 are rotatably mounted.
  • a guide plate 30 for the corrugated material web 27 interacts with the deflection roller 26.
  • a press roller scraper 32 is also fixedly mounted on the rigid frame 14 by means of a bearing component 33.
  • a vacuum box 34 is also firmly connected to the rigid frame 14. It cooperates in a known manner with the lower corrugating roller 11 in order to generate a negative pressure on the opposite side by means of suction grooves provided in the circumferential direction, for the purpose of adhesion of the corrugated web to the corrugating roller 11 up to the nip with the pressing roller 12.
  • the rigid frame 14 can be lifted out of the machine frame 13 with the help of the push-off screws 24, 25 so that the recesses 16, 17 are disengaged from the frame 13.
  • the rigid frame 14 can then be swiveled in the direction of the arrow 35. This can be done, for example, with a suitable pulling device or a hoist.
  • the folded rigid frame 14 can, after it has been pivoted about an angle of 90 to 120 °, lie against a suitable stop.
  • the roll package is completely freely accessible in this way. There is no longer any disruptive part on the side of the roller package facing the frame 14. Therefore, one or more rollers can be easily removed from the frame 13 after loosening the bearing flanges and the connections for the steam supply or condensate removal.
