Abstract
Description
- Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Sinterkontaktwerkstoff für Niederspannungsschaltgeräte der Energietechnik aus AgSn02 mit mindestens zwei weiteren Metalloxidzusätzen.
- Für Niederspannungsschaltgeräte der Energietechnik, z.B. in Schützen oder Selbstschaltern, haben sich Kontaktwerkstoffe auf der Basis AgCd0 mit Cd0 als Hauptwirkkomponente als besonders vorteilhaft erwiesen. Diese Kbntaktwerkstoffe zeigen einen kleinen Abbrand im Lichtbogen, eine kleine Schweißkraft und eine niedrige Erwärmung bei Dauerstromführung.
- Da beim Schalten aus Kontaktstücken, die aus AgCdO-Kontaktwerkstoffen bestehen, über den Abbrand Cd0 in die Umwelt gelangen kann und Cd0 als toxischer Werkstoff eingestuft ist, wird angestrebt, Kontaktwerkstoffe mit anderen Hauptmetalloxidzusätzen, wie Sn02, ZnO, In2O3, Cu0 usw., zu ersetzen. Kontaktwerkstoffe aus AgSnO2 ohne weitere Metalloxidzusätze konnten nicht alle Forderungen an die Kontakteigenschaften erfüllen. Es sind AgSn02-Kontaktwerkstoffe mit weiteren Metalloxidzusätzen wie In203, Bi2O3 bekannt.
- Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, die bekannten AgSn02-Werkstoffe mit weiteren Metalloxidzusätzen dahingehend zu verbessern, daß die Konzentrationen der weiteren Metalloxidzusätze wesentlich niedriger sind und dabei insbesondere der Gehalt an toxischen Werkstoffen.
- Gemäß der Erfindung wird die Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, daß als weitere Metalloxide Bi203, Cu0 und wahlweise Cd0 vorgesehen sind und daß der Summenmetalloxidgehalt zwischen 10 und 25 Vol.-% mit einem Sn02-Anteil ≥ 70 Vol.-% der Gesamtoxidmenge beträgt.
- Als besonders vorteilhaft hat sich ein Summenmetalloxidgehalt zwischen 15 bis 20 Vol.-% erwiesen.
- Als besonders vorteilhaft hat sich gemäß der Erfindung ein AgSn02Bi203Cu0-Werkstoff erwiesen mit einem Ag-Gehalt von 87,95 %-Massengehalt, einem SnO2-Gehalt von 9,97 %-Massengehalt, einem Bi203-Gehalt von 0,98 %-Massengehalt und einem CuO-Gehalt von 1,10 %-Massengehalt.
- Ein weiterer Werkstoff gemäß der Erfindung besteht aus AgSnO2Bi2O3CuOCdO mit einem Bi203-Gehalt zwischen 0,5 und 2 %-Massengehalt, einem CuO-Gehalt zwischen 0,5 und 1,5 %-Massengehalt und einem CdO-Gehalt zwischen 0,05 und 2 %-Massengehalt, insbesondere mit einem Ag-Gehalt von 87,89 %-Massengehalt, einem Sn02-Gehalt von 9,92 %-Massengehalt, einem Bi203-Gehalt von 1,1 %-Massengehalt, einem CuO-Gehalt von 1,2 %-Massengehalt und einem CdO-Gehalt von 0,3 %-Massengehalt oder mit einem Ag-Gehalt von 81,42 %-Massengehalt, einem Sn02-Gehalt von 13,09 %-Massengehalt, einem Bi203-Gehalt von 2,0 %-Massengehalt, einem CuO-Gehalt von 1,5 %-Massengehalt und einem CdO-Gehalt von 2,0 % Massengehalt.
- Anhand dreier Ausführungsbeispiele wird das Herstellen des Werkstoffs und daraus eines Kontaktstückes gemäß der Erfindung näher erläutert.
- Herstellen eines Sinterkontaktwerkstoffes aus AgSnO2Bi2O3CuO und des Kontaktstückes.
- Aus 90,15 %-Massengehalt F.einsilberkörnern, 8,05 %-Massengehalt Zinnkörnern, 0,90 %-Massengehalt metallischem Wismut als Bruchstücke und 0,90 %-Massengehalt Kupfer in Form von Stangen wird eine Legierung aus AgSnBiCu der angegebenen Zusammensetzung erschmolzen. Durch Druckverdüsen mit Wasser wird daraus ein gleich zusammengesetztes Legierungspulver hergestellt. Nach dem Trocknen wird der Pulveranteil kleiner 200 um abgesiebt. Dieser Anteil wird an Luft zwischen 500 und 800°C inneroxidiert, wonach ein Verbundpulver aus AgSn02Bi203CuO der Zusammensetzung 87,95 %-Massengehalt Ag, 9,97 %-Massengehalt SnO2, 0,98 %-Massengehalt Bi203 und 1,10 %-Massengehalt Cu0 erhalten wird.
- Aus dem Verbundpulver können durch Pressen in einer Matrize mit 600 MPa Kontaktstücke hergestellt werden. Für die sichere Verbindungstechnik durch Hartlöten ist es zweckmäßig beim Pressen des Verbundpulvers eine zweite Schicht aus Reinsilberpulver mit der Kontaktschicht gemeinsam zu verpressen. Die Sinterung der Kontaktstücke erfolgt bei 850°C während einer Stunde an Luft. Durch Warmnachpressen bei 650°C mit 800 MPa werden die Kontaktstücke verdichtet. Eine weitere Verdichtung und Verfestigung ist durch eine zweite Sinterung bei. 850°C während einer Stunde an Luft und eine darauf folgende weitere Kaltverdichtung zu erreichen.
- Die Kontakteigenschaften solcher Kontaktstücke wurden auf einem Prüfschalter gemessen. Die Abbrandwerte lagen gegenüber einer stranggepreßten AgSn02-Qualität mit gleichem Oxidanteil um etwa 25 % besser. In den Schweißkraftwerten wurden 50 % niedrigerer FS99,9-Werte und im Kontaktwiderstand 10 % niedrigere Werte erreicht. Das Gefüge des Kontaktwerkstoffes ist sehr fein und gleichmäßig.
- Herstellen eines Sinterkontaktwerkstoffs aus AgSnO2Bi2O3CuOCdO und des Kontaktstückes.
- Aus 81,42 %-Massengehalt Elektrolyse- oder Fällungssilberpulver und feinen Metalloxidpulvern aus 13,09 %-Massengehalt SnO2, 2,0 %-Massengehalt Bi2O3, 1,5 %-Massengehalt Cu0 und 2,0 %-Massengehalt CdO wird ein Pulver durch Naßmischen und Sieben der Teilchengröße < 200 µm hergestellt.
- Aus der getrockneten Pulvermischung werden mit 300 MPa Formkörper verdichtet. Um eine einwandfreie Verbindung der Kontaktstücke mit einem Träger sicherzustellen ist es zweckmäßig, die Kontaktschicht mit einer zweiten Pulverschicht, z.B. aus Reinsilber, zu einem Zweischichten-Preßkörper zu verdichten. Die Sinterung erfolgt bei 8500C während einer Stunde an Luft. Durch Warmnachpressen bei 650°C mit 800 MPa werden die Kontaktstücke verdichtet. Eine weitere Verdichtung ist durch eine weitere Wärmebehandlung bei 850°C während einer halben Stunde an Luft oder Stickstoff und eine darauf folgende weitere Kalt- oder Warmverdichtung zu erreichen.
- Die Kontakteigenschaften dieser Kontaktstücke wurden auf einem Prüfschalter gemessen und mit einer sehr guten AgCdO-Qualität verglichen. Bei vergleichbaren Abbrandwerten wurden eine etwas günstigere Erwärmung (10 % niedrigerer Kontaktwiderstand) und eine etwa um 15 % niedrigere Schweißkraft erreicht.
- Herstellen eines Sinterkontaktwerkstoffes aus AgSnO2Bi2O3CuOCdO und des Kontaktstückes.
- Aus einer Legierung aus AgSnBiCuCd mit 90,06 %-Massengegehalt Ag, 7,67 %-Massengehalt Sn, 1,01 %-Massengehalt Bi, 0,98 %-Massengehalt Cu und 0,27 %-Massengehalt Cd wird ein Pulver der Teilchengröße < 200 µm, z.B. durch Druckverdüsen mit Wasser, hergestellt. Durch innere Oxidation des Legierungspulvers wird ein Verbundpulver aus AgSnO2Bi2O3CuOCdO mit 87,89 %-Massengehalt Ag, 9,92 %-Massengehalt Sn02, 1,1 %-Massengehalt Bi203, 1,2 %-Massengehalt Cu0 und 0,3 %-Massengehalt Cd0 erhalten. Die innere Oxidation wird während einer Glühbehandlung an Luft zwischen 500 und 800°C durchgeführt. Dabei wird die Zeit so gewählt, daß eine vollständige innere Oxidation erreicht wird.
- Aus dem Verbundpulver wird wie bei Beispiel 1 ein Zweischichten-Pulverpreßkörper hergestellt. Durch Sintern wird der Preßkörper verfestigt und durch Warm- bzw. Kaltnachverdichten wird die Restporosität des Kontaktstückes herabgesetzt. Auch die so erreichte Kontaktqualität hat bei gleicher Zusammensetzung wie im Beispiel 2 die gleich guten Kontakteigenschaften. Ein Gefügebild zeigt die gleichmäßig globularen Oxidausscheidungen im Silbergrundmetall.
- Die Silber-Zinn-Oxid-Kontaktwerkstoffe mit den weiteren Oxidzusätzen Bi203, Cu0 und wahlweise Cd0 gemäß der Erfindung stellen eine aus der Vielzahl der Möglichkeiten spezielle Werkstoffauswahl bei ganz bestimmter Zusammensetzung dar. Bei den Kontaktwerkstoffen mit CdO als Oxidzusatz konnte der CdO-Gehalt um 1 bis 2 Größenordnungen gesenkt werden.
