Definitions

  • the invention relates to a container closure with two relatively cylindrical, concentric parts which are movable relative to one another and which are connected to one another via an element such that they have to overcome a dead center position in order to be able to assume one of two possible stable positions, one of which is the open and the other the closed position of the container closure.
  • the two parts which are movable relative to one another are dome-shaped.
  • the inner dome-shaped part is fixed in place on the container closure or the can.
  • the relatively dome-shaped part which is relatively movable to this stationary part is mounted so that it can move with the aid of an elastic spring washer forming the element on the stationary part in such a way that the inner peripheral edge of the spring washer engages in an annular groove provided on the stationary part, while the outer peripheral edge engages in one on one Cantilever of the outer part engages provided inner annular groove.
  • This spring washer has dimensions such that it is only in a flat position when the two ring grooves are not in a common horizontal plane, since the radial distance between the two ring grooves is the smallest in a common horizontal plane.
  • the annular groove of the outer part In the closed position of the container closure, in which the outer dome-shaped part rests on the inner dome-shaped part. the annular groove of the outer part in a horizontal plane which is lower than the horizontal plane of the annular groove of the inner part.
  • the annular groove of the outer part In the open position of the container closure, however, the annular groove of the outer part is in a horizontal plane which lies above that of the annular groove of the inner part.
  • hinge joint arrangements made of plastic are known from DE-C-19 09 405 in connection with a clothes hanger, the first and second parts forming clamping surfaces between them in order to be able to clamp a garment in the clothes hanger.
  • a comparable hinge arrangement is also z. B. from DE-A-24 59 628 in connection with a bottle cap known, the first part of the cap and the second part is a locking ring connected to the two spring strips with the cap, which diametrically in the closed state on a hinge opposite point presses against the bottle top.
  • the object of the invention is to develop a container closure of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1 in such a way that it can be produced completely from plastic in a simple manner and is functionally reliable over relatively long operating times.
  • the container closure is formed in one piece from plastic and in that at least two spring strips form the element and are articulated in such a way on approximately diametrically opposite circumferential sides of the first part and on the second part via two joint grooves that in the dead center position of the two parts, the two joint grooves of each spring strip each lie in a substantially radial common sectional plane of the two parts, the joint grooves being arranged essentially parallel or obliquely to the longitudinal plane of the cylinder of the two parts.
  • the container closure according to the invention is thus made of plastic, so that it can be injection molded in one piece from plastic in a very simple manner.
  • This container closure is corrosion-resistant and, due to its high elasticity, also has a long service life, even under mechanical stress, since the hinge grooves forming the hinges can carry out a very large number of hinge games without breaking.
  • FIGS. 1 to 1e different embodiments of a first exemplary embodiment are shown schematically in section or from above, in which spring strips 1 and 2 each have an articulated groove 7, 8 (cf. FIGS. 2c and 2d), not shown here, between one first cylindrical part 5 and a second cylindrical part 6 are provided.
  • the joint grooves each run essentially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the two parts 5 and 6.
  • the first or inner part 5 is shown in a first stable position of the two parts with solid lines, while the first part 5 in its second stable Position is shown in dashed lines.
  • the two parts 5 and 6 pass through a dead center position in their relative movement from one stable position to the other, in which the joint grooves of each spring strip 1 and 2 each in a common radial plane of the two Parts 5 and 6 lie.
  • This is regardless of whether the spring strips 1 and 2, as shown in FIGS. 1a and 1e, z. B. 'stiff or, as shown in Fig.1, both are elastic. If both spring strips 1 and 2 or at least one of them, as shown in FIGS.
  • both spring strips 1 and 2 are essentially inelastic, at least one of the parts 5 or 6, preferably the outer part 6, must be designed elastically in the form of an arc spring in order to maintain the then unchanged distance between the joint grooves when passing through the radial plane to be able to absorb or compensate for the joint grooves.
  • the two parts 5 and 6 perform a purely longitudinal movement or a relative movement composed of a longitudinal and rotary movement.
  • the first or second part is in each case regarded as stationary or movable or whether both parts not only perform a relative movement to one another but also to a stationary location.
  • the first or inner part 5 is formed by the opening part of a tube or the like, while the second or outer part 6 is designed as an approximately elliptically shaped cover cap is.
  • the shape of the cover cap is arbitrary within wide limits in order, for. B. to form a manually actable attack surface, as long as the first part 5 within the second part 6 has sufficient freedom of movement to be able to assume the two possible stable positions.
  • the cover cap 6 is provided with an opening shown in FIGS. 2a and 2b in order to expose the opening part 5 of a tube in the first stable position shown in FIG. 2a and in the position shown in FIG. 2b sealing the opening part 5 of the tube to close.
  • FIG. 3a another embodiment of the invention is shown schematically, wherein three spring strips 1, 2 and 3 in the one position shown there are a stable position of the two parts 5 and 6 approximately like a wheel spoke between these two parts. All spring strips 1 to 3 are in turn connected to the first and second parts 5 and 6 in a manner not shown here in each case via joint grooves 7 and 8. In this exemplary embodiment, too, all of the joint grooves 7 and 8 of all the spring strips extend substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the two parts 5 and 6.
  • Fig. 3b a similar embodiment of the invention is shown schematically, but in which four spring strips 1 to 4 are provided between the two parts 5 and 6 evenly distributed over their circumference.
  • the spring strips 1 to 4 are elastic, i.e. H. arcuate, so that the two parts 5 and 6 can be inelastic.
  • the articulated grooves 7 and 8 of each spring strip 1 to 4 move towards one another in order to shorten their mutual distance to the respective radial distance between the two parts 5 and 6.
  • FIG. 4 A further exemplary embodiment is shown schematically in FIG. 4, in which the spring strips between the two parts 5 and 6 are articulated on the two parts via joint grooves 7 and 8 in such a way that the joint grooves 7 and 8 are directed both in the circumferential direction and in the have direction components arranged substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the cylinder.
  • the individual feather strips are therefore both, as z.
  • Fig. 3a in the stable positions of the two parts 5 and 6 inclined in the circumferential direction from the radial plane and in the vertical direction from a transverse plane of the cylinders.
  • both a relative rotation and a retinal displacement take place in a direction perpendicular to the turning radius, with the two joint grooves in the dead center position of the two parts 5 and 6 7 and 8 of each spring strip 1 to 4 must in turn lie both in the transverse plane and in a radial plane of the cylinders.
  • This embodiment can also, for. B. applied to closures of containers, for. B. on the lateral surface of the second part 6 and / or the end face of the first part 5 provided scatter openings or the like. Open in one stable position and close each in the other stable position.
