Definitions
- the invention relates to a multi-pane window designated in the preamble of claim 1 and claim 2.
- Such multi-pane windows are known for example from DE-A-2 707 398 and FR-A-2 350 436.
- Multi-pane windows of this type serve both for thermal insulation and for thermal protection.
- the solutions known in the prior art have the disadvantage that the fastening points of the central disc are formed by fastening elements clamped on the edge or by pins pushed through perforations in the edge.
- a clamp If a clamp is chosen, it is not necessarily durable, since it cannot be ensured that this clamp will not come loose over time. If pins are provided as fastening means, perforation of the edge of the pane is necessary, which means additional work and also causes a considerable risk of breakage in the region of the pane edge.
- the invention has for its object to provide a multi-pane window of the generic type, which enables high functional reliability and a simple structure.
- the movable disc is wrapped around its edges by a support cable which is attached to an upper support profile member, the support member either in a central groove in the edges of the movable disc or in a groove on the Edges of the movable disc pushed profile is held.
- the desired function of the disk is not impaired by this design, according to which the freely vibrating center disk can dodge accordingly when sound waves are transmitted from an outer disk to it and can serve as a sound-absorbing or sound-absorbing element in that the energy resulting from the sound vibrations can be caused by the movement of the
- the middle pane is largely used up, so that as a result the outer pane facing the interior is practically hardly reached by sound waves, although this can also be achieved with much smaller pane thicknesses than in the previously used multiple pane windows.
- An alternative solution is characterized in that rolling elements are arranged between the lower edge of the movable disc and a lower support profile member, which enable a deflection movement of the disc perpendicular to the disc plane, the lower edge of the movable disc either being concave in accordance with the profile of the rolling elements or with a side guide profile for the rolling element is provided.
- the disk with the rolling elements designed as balls or rollers can dodge perpendicularly to the plane of the disc in the event of sound waves, so that in principle there are similar effects to those in the previously described embodiment, due to the frictional forces between the lower edge of the disc, rolling elements and lower beam profile member on the one hand the evasive movement is somewhat slower, but on the other hand more sound wave energy can be consumed. Furthermore, this solution enables the central disk to be held securely without the disk having to be provided with perforations or clamping means for this purpose.
- elastically flexible buffer elements can be arranged on both sides in the area of all edges.
- the elastic buffer elements themselves can be designed as cords made of elastic material, each extending between a surface of the movable disc and an abutment surface located opposite.
- the elastically flexible buffer elements can, however, also be designed as spiral springs. In both of the above-described embodiments, it is advisable to arrange holding elements for the elastic buffer elements on both sides of the movable disks in order to prevent an undesired change in position thereof.
- the elastic buffer elements can also be designed as an angular profile made of elastic material, one leg of which engages against the movable disc at an angle deviating from a right angle, as a result of which additional holding elements can be avoided.
- FIGS. 1 to 3 there are two outside on a wooden casement 1 discs 2 and 3 and a center disc 4 receiving support profile frame 5 fastened by means of a two-part fastening frame 6, the latter by means of fastening means 7, not shown, on the wooden casement 1.
- the carrier profile frame 5 has two laterally all-round cavities 8 for the usual accommodation of hygroscopic means, and between them a central groove-shaped recess 9.
- the outer panes 2 and 3 are airtightly glued to the corresponding opposite side surfaces of the carrier profile frame 5 and in the gutter-shaped Recess 9, the center plate 4 is freely swingable in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the disc on both sides, namely by means of a supporting cable 11 held in a concave groove 10, which is formed all around in the end faces of the central disc 4, which, like FIGS 3 show, is suspended from the upper cross member of the support profile frame 5 by means of hooks 12.
- angular buffer elements 13 made of elastic material, one leg 14 of these elements 13 being directed against the center disk 4 and engaging at an angle deviating from a right angle such that this leg 14 can adapt itself resiliently in the event of a lateral movement of the disk 4.
- the cavities between the wooden casement 1 and the two-part mounting frame 6 on the one hand and between the latter and the support profile frame 5 on the other hand are filled in the usual, not shown in detail with suitable rubber seals, the assembly being carried out in such a way that first half of the mounting frame 6 on Wooden wing frame 1 is attached, the aforementioned rubber seals are attached and then the support profile frame 5 with the outer panes 2 and 3 and the center plate 4 is brought into the correct position, whereupon the other half of the fastening frame 6 is then attached to the wooden casement frame 1.
- the center pane 4 in the fully assembled state of the multi-pane window is able to oscillate freely to both sides perpendicular to the plane of the pane, such that sound waves impinging on this pane can be damped or absorbed, as described above has already been explained in more detail.
- the embodiment according to FIG. 4 corresponds essentially to that described above according to FIGS. 1 to 3, with the exception that instead of a suspension, the central disc 4a rests on rolling elements 16 with its lower, concave-shaped edge 15 and, instead of the angular buffer elements 13, elastic cords 17 with a circular shape Cross section (as shown on the left next to the middle disk 4a) or elastic cords 18 with an annular cross section (as shown on the right next to the movable disk 4a).
- the relevant buffer elements are held in the recess 9 by additional holding elements 19 against undesired changes in position. It can be seen that the possibility of movement of the center disk 4a is similar to the embodiment described above according to FIGS. 1 to 3 and, accordingly, the function of the movable center disk 4a.
- a center disk 4a is provided on its lower edge with an I-shaped side guide member 20 for rolling elements 16 instead of the concave groove 15 in the embodiment according to FIG. 4.
- more than one movable pane can also be provided between the two outer panes.
- the inventive construction is naturally applicable also to completely made of light metal such as aluminum or plastic or entirely of wood sash frame, ie those, 'in which the carrier profile frame with the discs in a single- or multi-part timber, plastic or light metal frame is stored .
- the elastic buffer elements can also be designed differently, e.g. B. as spiral springs and in a simplified embodiment, the movable disc with its lower edge on a soft elastic element, for. B. a fluid-filled cord, so that even without rolling a certain lateral mobility of the movable disc would be given on both sides u.
