Claims (4)

1. Machine pour insuffler un gaz dans des récipients d'emballage remplis (2) et les fermer au moyen d'une bande de pellicule (3), comprenant un dispositif de fermeture (13) qui soude la bande de pellicule sur le bord de l'ouverture des récipients, un guide-pellicule qui achemine la bande de pellicule aux récipients, dans un plan incliné par rapport au plan de transport des récipients en direction du dispositif de fermeture, et des conduites d'arrivée du gaz qui s'engagent entre la bande de pellicule arrivant dans une direction inclinée et les récipients en direction du dispositif de fermeture, caractérisée en ce que le guide-pellicule comprend une glissière (24) qui couvre ledit plan incliné, et en ce que les conduites d'arrivée du gaz (30, 31; 38, 39) s'étendent au-dessus des bords latéraux (5) des récipients (2) et présentent des orifices de sortie du gaz (35) dirigés les uns vers les autres de telle manière que, dans l'espace sensiblement en forme de coin, formé par les récipients, par la bande de pellicule (3) soutenue par la glissière, et par les conduites d'arrivée du gaz, on produise un courant de gaz protecteur orienté transversalement à la direction de transport des récipients et qui pénètre dans les récipients entre les tas de produits de remplissage.

3. Machine selon la revendication 2, caracten- sée en ce que les orifices de sortie du gaz (35) sont disposés sur une conduite d'arnvée du gaz (30, 31; 38, 39) à un écartement égal a deux fois la longueur des récipients.
4 Machine selon l'une des revendications 1 a 3, caractérisée en ce que la glissière mclinee du guide-pellicule est formée par une plaque (24) agencée en position fixe et qui délimite en combinaison avec des nervures de guidage (21) pre- vues pour guider les bords latéraux libres (5) des récipients (2), les récipients (2) et les conduites d'arrivée du gaz (30, 31; 38, 39), une chambre qui s'amincit en direction du dispositif de fermeture (13).
