- the diameter of the axis 15 can be reduced even further if materials are used as the material for the axis and the rollers which are more wear-resistant than the materials mentioned above. If, for example, tungsten or hardened steel is used for the axis 15 and ruby is used as the rolling material, the axis diameter can easily be reduced to below the above-mentioned value of 0.6 mm.
