- Axle body 39 is provided at both ends with collar pins 41 on which the eccentric lever 35 is pivotally mounted. If the eccentric lever 35 is pivoted from the position shown in solid lines in FIG. 1 to the position shown in dash-dotted lines, then the contact surface 43 lies against the contact block 44, whereby the axis 40-40 and thus the adjusting rocker 23 is pivoted away from the contact block 44.
- Housing 1 is thereby shifted upwards via adjusting screw 24 and brackets 6 and 7 with their oblique pockets 17 in the guide pin 22 of the guide frame 4 and thus assumes a lifting position which is superior to the grinding surface 3 and in which the hand-held belt grinding machine can be placed despite the grinding belt 2 running.
