This can be achieved either by interrupting the circuit to the device depending on a pivoting movement of the locking lever 6, or on the other hand, the force required to pivot the two parts 11 and 10 is such that it is significantly greater than at least that for the angular movement of the Footrest required force when the clamping device of the angle adjustment device 4 is released by pivoting the locking lever 6.
  • the operation of the footrest according to the invention will be explained in the detaching process for women working in the chord.
  • the woman occupying the seat places her feet on the footrest 1 and releases all the clamping devices by means of the locking lever 6 and now, if necessary against the force of spring devices such as the spring device 7, moves the footrest 1 in the angular, vertical and horizontal directions, until the comfortable position that suits her is reached, whereupon she merely pivots the locking lever 6 back in the other direction, in which the clamping devices are all locked again.
  • the clamping devices can be acted on with great leverage, whereby a very good clamping effect can be achieved with the various clamping devices, even if the person performing the pivoting movement, for example a woman, is relatively weak.
  • the whole adjustment process can be carried out in a few seconds, so that it can also be carried out by women working in chords without fear of loss of income.
  • a comfortable foot position which can be changed several times during the entire working time, also increases productivity, since the working person can assume a comfortable, comfortable sitting position.
  • the invention thus provides a footrest, with an adjustability in the angular direction, in the vertical direction and in the horizontal direction, which can be triggered and ended by means of a single locking process, the adjustment being continuous and the locking and unlocking can be carried out with little effort while sitting.
  • This footrest can be transportable and may have feet that can be fastened to the frame 2, or it can also be fixed in place at fixed workplaces be seen.
