Definitions

  • the invention relates to a stackable flat pallet, consisting of a support plate and support feet made of sheet metal, in which the support plate has openings matched to the support feet, beads distributed over the metal sheet and a flanged edge, and the support feet are tapered like skids and are provided with horizontal flanges , which abut and are attached to the support plate.
  • Stackable flat pallets made of sheet metal should meet the following requirements: While ensuring space-saving and easy stackability, it should be possible to easily produce a stable pallet with low material consumption, that is to say using thin sheets; in particular, the support feet should also be easy to attach.
  • the invention solves the problem of further developing stackable flat pallets of the type mentioned in such a way that their stability is improved with simple manufacture even when using thin sheets, in particular the support plate is extremely well stiffened in all directions.
  • the essential idea of the invention consists in the special arrangement of uniformly deformed sheet metal strips as rows of supports for a stackable flat pallet.
  • the manufacture of the flat pallet is technically simple.
  • Each deformed continuous sheet metal strip increases the stability of the flat pallet.
  • the cost of materials remains low.
  • the material and its deformations guarantee high wear resistance and stability of the flat pallet.
  • the advantage that the flat pallet does not absorb moisture and is easy to clean remains.
  • FIG. 14 As a first exemplary embodiment, a flat pallet shown schematically in FIG. 14 with a rectangular support plate 1 made of sheet metal according to FIG. 9 and with support feet 11, 26 according to FIG. 2 is described.
  • the support plate 1 has a flanged edge 2 which is provided with an insert frame 3, preferably made of metal wire. At predetermined intervals a and b, the support plate 1 is provided with deep-drawn zones 4. One of the deep-drawn zones 4 is arranged at the corners of the support plate 1. A further deep-drawn zone is arranged in each case both along the long sides and along the narrow sides of the support plate 1 in the middle between two deep-drawn zones 4 arranged at the corners. The last deep-drawn zone 4 is arranged in the center of gravity of the support plate 1. Each deep-drawn zone forms a hollow. An opening 5 is recessed in each deep-drawn zone 4.
  • the openings 5 have the shape of a cross in the middle longitudinal row and the shape of a T in the outer longitudinal rows, the short web of which is directed inwards. Each edge 6 of each opening 5 is crimped. At least one longitudinal bead 7 is provided in the support plate 1 between each two deep-drawn zones 4. Starting from the deep-drawn zone 4 in the center of gravity of the support plate 1, longitudinal beads 7 in the form of diagonal beads are provided at the corners. In parallel, there are two longitudinal beads 7, but these are somewhat shorter than the central longitudinal bead see. The spaces between these longitudinal beads 7 are filled with transverse beads 8. This corrugation arrangement ensures that the optimal load distribution takes place in each retraction direction of a fork.
  • each support foot 11 in the form of a runner is fastened under the support plate 1.
  • the support feet 11 of each longitudinal row 20, 21, 22 are each made of a uniform, deformed sheet metal strip 10; the support feet of at least one transverse row 23, 24, 25 from a further deformed sheet metal strip 26 which is crossed with the sheet metal strips 10 of the longitudinal rows 20, 21, 22.
  • the design of these sheet metal strips 10, 26 is described below.
  • the width of each support foot 11 is slightly less than the width of the openings 5.
  • each support foot 11 is angled to form a flange 12 and cranked to match the deep-drawn zone 4 - cf. also Fig. 13 -.
  • each flange 12 lies both on the zone edge 9 and in the immediate vicinity of the zone edge 9 on the flat region of the support plate 1.
  • the flanges 12 of each support foot 11 are fastened to the zone edges 9 as well as in the immediate vicinity of the zone edges 9 in the flat area of the support plate 1.
  • the flanges 12 of each support leg 11 have smaller bores, the surrounding material 14 of which has passed through larger bores 13 in the support plate 1 and is flanged like a rivet - cf. Fig. 13 -.
  • the flanges 12 z. B circular holes of about 8 mm in diameter. Holes of approx. 18 mm are made centrally in the support plate 1.
  • the material surrounding the bores mentioned above is drawn through the larger bores 13 of the support plate 1 and inserted at the top of the support plate 1.
  • These fastenings between the support foot 11 and the support plate 1 are staggered in order to distribute the material load over several axes. Otherwise, the exact bore diameters in the support feet 11 and the support plate 1 depend on the material thicknesses used. Since the stronger material is pushed through the weaker material, the greatest effect in terms of strength and clean training is achieved. In this embodiment, no additional material is required for the attachment, in particular no rivets, screws or welded connections.
  • Each sheet metal strip 10 has a longitudinal bead 15 - cf. 10 to 12 -.
  • the longitudinal bead 15 runs in the footprint 16 of the support foot 11, also in its tapered legs 17 and continues at the end of the flanges 12.
  • the longitudinal bead 15 lies with one of the longitudinal beads 7 in the support plate 1 in the same plane.
  • the longitudinal beads 15 in the sheet metal strip 10 are bulged in the direction of the standing surface 16 of the support feet, while the longitudinal beads 7 in the supporting plate 1 are bulged in the direction of their receiving surface.
  • the so-called pipe and box effect occurs in this embodiment: the beads of the support plate and those of the sheet metal strips lie opposite one another in the manner of a pipe or box, which results in particularly high stability. Where such a configuration is not possible, the bead in the support plate can be bulged in the direction of the bead in the sheet metal strip.
  • sheet metal strips 10, 26 of the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 can be used: In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, they are in the same longitudinal row, e.g. B. in the right outer longitudinal row 20, the middle longitudinal row 21 and the left outer longitudinal row 22, arranged support feet 11 are first made from one of the deformed sheet metal strips 10. All support feet 11 are formed in the sheet metal strip 10 with both an inner and an outer flange 12. The outer flanges 12 can be flanged around the insert frame 3 at the edge 2. The support feet 11 are further formed from the sheet metal strips 26 constructed and arranged in an analog manner. However, these are parallel to the narrow side of the pallet in the transverse rows 23, 24, 25.
  • the sheet metal strips 10 in the longitudinal rows 20, 21, 22 are crossed with the sheet metal strips 26 in the transverse rows 23, 24, 25 in the support feet 11.
  • the outer support feet 11 in the transverse rows 23, 24, 25 are also formed with an inner and an outer flange 12.
  • Four-sided support feet are created everywhere. There are longer standing areas for the support feet 11. As a result, the pallet becomes fully rollable and is supported in conventional pallet racks.
  • the parts of the sheet metal strips 26 forming the outer support feet 11 end in the transverse rows 23, 24, 25 in the standing area 16.
  • the outer support feet 11 in the transverse rows 23, 24, 25 are only with an inner flange 12 educated.
  • the middle longitudinal row 21 four-sided, otherwise three-sided support legs are formed.
  • only the support feet 11 arranged in the central transverse row 24 are additionally produced from the further uniform deformed sheet metal 26 which is crossed with the sheet metal strips 10 of the longitudinal rows 20, 21 and 22.
  • the part of the sheet metal strip 26 which forms the outer support feet 11 in the central transverse row 24 ends in the standing surface 16.
  • the beads 15 described at the outset can be provided in all sheet metal strips 10 and 26.
  • the metal strips 10 and 26 can also be angled in the region of the support feet 11, in the event that the openings 5 have deep-drawn zones 4 of the type shown in FIG. 14.
  • the use of crossed sheet metal strips for the support feet enables the support plate to be made from extremely thin sheet metal.
  • the support plate is extremely well stiffened in all directions.
  • the support plate is formed from flat sheet metal strips 18 on the one hand and from sheet metal strips 10 and 26 containing the support feet 11 on the other hand.
  • the sheet metal strips 10 containing the support feet 11 in the longitudinal direction and 26 in the transverse direction are the sheet metal strips shown in FIG. 1. These sheet metal strips 10, 26 form the outermost and the central strips in both the longitudinal and transverse directions.
  • One of the flat sheet metal strips 18 is provided between each two bent sheet metal strips 10, 26. The ends of all sheet metal strips 10, 18, 26 are placed and flanged at the edge 2 around the insert frame 3 in the form of a tubular frame. These are connected to each other at the crossing points of two strips.
  • the crimping and the connections can be carried out with the aid of the rivet-shaped openings described for fastening the support feet 11 to the support plate 1.
  • the strips are arranged at intervals and widths so that the goods find supports and are locked by special deformations.
  • the metal strips 10, 18, 26 can be provided with stabilizing beads 15.
  • the flat pallets described above can be produced from sheet metal, in particular galvanized, rustproof, painted and / or coated sheet steel or aluminum sheet.
  • the outer dimensions of the flat pallets, the distances a and b, which determine the entry width, and the entry height meet the requirements for four-way pallets according to DIN 15 141. and fell below.
  • the crimped edges 2 lie one on top of the other.
  • the support feet 11 of the respective upper pallet reach through the openings 5 of the underlying pallet into the cavities left free by the support feet 11.
  • the flanged edge 2 of the support plate 1 has a thickness and the inclination of the legs 17 of the support feet 11 and the thickness of the beads 7, 8, 15 are selected so that adjacent stacked pallets are in contact with the edges 2 without touching the support feet 11.
  • the stack height of a number of pallets is then, given an assumed distance of 100 mm between the base 16 and the lower edge of the support plate 1: number of pallets x edge thickness of the support plate + 100 mm.
  • the space gain can be seen in FIG. 15, which shows ten pallets according to the invention in front of ten non-stackable pallets.
  • the longitudinal rows 20, 21, 22 each have one of the sheet metal strips 10, of which those in the outer longitudinal rows 20 and 22 with support feet 11 only at the ends, and that in the middle longitudinal row 21 also with a Support foot 11 is provided in the middle.
  • the middle transverse row 24 is also provided with one of the sheet metal strips 26, which is cranked in the middle to the support foot 11, while the free ends engage under the sheet metal strips of the longitudinal rows 20 and 22.
  • Such a pallet has six support feet 11 in the longitudinal rows and, for stabilization in the center of gravity, a central support foot 11 in the form of a support foot which is closed on all sides.
  • the sheet metal strip 26 in the middle transverse row 24 crosses the sheet metal strips 10 in the longitudinal rows 20, 21, 22 partly in the support leg 11, partly outside.
  • the sheet metal strip 26 in the middle transverse row 24 crosses the sheet metal strips 10 in the longitudinal rows 20, 21, 22 only outside the support feet: here there are three support feet 11 in each of the longitudinal rows 20, 21, 22 in the Transverse row 24 two support feet 27 between the outer longitudinal rows 20 and 22 on the one hand and the central longitudinal row 21 on the other hand.
  • These support feet 27 also stabilize the pallet. They must be made so wide that the forks of a forklift or a fork sling can be safely gripped under the support plate 1 of the flat pallet by the support feet, as described at the beginning for a four-way pallet.
  • the sheet metal strips 10 forming the support feet in the longitudinal rows 20, 21, 22 are designed as wide support feet 27.
  • This embodiment is, so to speak, the inverted support crossing according to FIG. 2, wherein the support feet 11 in the outer longitudinal rows 20 and 22 are no longer provided with an outer flange.
  • Pallets of this type can be run in any direction. Due to the large contact areas, loaded pallets can be stacked on top of each other with suitable loads. Instead of a support plate, this pallet can be provided with support strips 18 - cf. 7 and 8 -, which are, however, preferably arranged diagonally here.
