Abstract

Emulsiones nutricionales que comprenden grasas, hidratos de carbono, proteínas y HMB de calcio, en donde la emulsión nutricional tiene una relación de peso de una capacidad de unión a calcio soluble a calcio soluble de entre aproximadamente 2,3 y aproximadamente 12,0. También se describen emulsiones nutricionales que comprenden grasas, hidratos de carbono, proteínas, e HMB de calcio, en donde la emulsión nutricional comprende menos de 900 mg/L de calcio soluble en una relación de peso de HMB de calcio a calcio soluble de entre 6:1 y 15:1. Las emulsiones nutricionales son sorprendentemente estables y generan mínimo o nada de sabor o retrogusto amargo en el tiempo.
