Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a emulsiones nutricionales que comprenden grasas, carbohidratos, proteínas, y HMB de calcio en donde la proteína soluble comprende entre aproximadamente 50% y 100% en peso de la proteína total. También se divulgan emulsiones nutricionales que comprenden grasas, carbohidratos, proteínas, y HMB de calcio en donde la proteína soluble comprende entre aproximadamente 50% y 100% en peso de la proteína y la emulsión tiene una proporción en peso de proteína soluble a HMB de calcio de entre aproximadamente 5:1 y aproximadamente 12:1. Las emulsiones nutricionales son sorprendentemente estables y con el tiempo generan sabores o dejos mínimamente amargos o no amargos.
