Abstract

La presente invención proporciona, entre otras cosas, métodos y composiciones para la producción de proteína I2S recombinante con mejor potencia y actividad usando células que coexpresan la proteínas I2S y FGE. En algunas modalidades, las células de acuerdo con la presente invención se modifican genéticamente para sobreexpresar simultáneamente las proteínas I2S y FGE recombinantes. Las células de acuerdo con la invención se pueden adaptar a varias condiciones de cultivo celular. En algunas modalidades, las células de la presente invención se pueden adaptar a un cultivo sin suero de suspensión a gran escala.
