Description

  • Es sind Gasschutzmasken aus gasdichtem Gummistoff bekannt. Zur Herstellung dieser Gasschutzmasken wird im allgemeinen aus dem Gummistoff ein Blankett geschnitten, das durch Zusammennähen an mehreren Stellen zu einem Maskenkörper geformt wird. Meist werden die Nähte in Form von Zickzacknähten ausgeführt, die nachträglich durch Aufvulkani,sieren einer Gummischicht im Kalt- oder Warmverfahren gedichtet werden. Durch das Abdecken der Naht mit Gummi werden die Vulkanisierstellen dicker als die übrigen Stellen der Maske. Da die Abdichtung auf beiden Seiten erfolgt, tritt die Verdickung auf beiden Seiten ein. Diese verdickten Nahtstellen sind insbesondere dann nachteilig, wenn die Nahtstellen unmittelbar dem Gesicht anliegen. So kann z. B. der Maskenkörper so geformt sein, daß er unmittelbar dem Gesicht anliegt. Die verdickten Stellen üben dann zumindest einen .unangenehmen Druck auf die darunterliegende Stelle aus. Durch das ungleichmäßige Anliegen der Naht im Verhältnis zu .den anderen Stellen der Maske am Körper kann aber auch die Gasdichtigkeit gefährdet werden.
  • Die Erfindung vermeidet den Nachteil. Sie besteht darin, daß die Nahtkanten leicht nach außen abgebogen sind und daß der auf der Innenseite der Maske auf die Naht aufvulkanisierte Gummi mit der anstoßenden Innenfläche der Maske eine glatte oder nahezu glatte Fläche bildet. Bei dieser Bauform ragt die dem Gesicht zugekehrte Seite der Naht nicht über die übrige Stofffläche hinaus oder steht gegenüber dieser nicht zurück. Die Maskenfläche weist keine störenden Erhebungen bzw. Vertiefungen auf, so daß sie dem Gesicht praktisch eben anliegt.. Die Haltbarkeit oder Dichtigkeit der Naht ist nicht beeinträchtigt.
  • In der Zeichnung ist eine Ausführungsform der neuen Naht schematisch im Schnitt dargestellt.
  • Die beiden Gummistoffteile i und a der Maske stoßen stumpf entlang der Kante 3 gegeneinander. Im Bereich dieser Kante sind die Randteile der Maske leicht nach außen abgebogen. Auf der Unterseite ist der Gummi q. und auf der Oberseite der Gummi 5 aufvulkanisiert. Die Vulkanisiervorrichtung ist entsprechend auszubilden. Bei dem Vulkanisieren soll sich die Lage des nach außen gekrümmten Gummistoffes nicht verändern. Nach dem Vulkanisieren geht die Oberfläche des Gummiteiles 4. in die Innenflächen der Stoffteile i und ohne irgendwelche störenden Kanten oder Vertiefungen über. Es wird eine dem Gesicht anliegende, ebene Fläche gebildet, ohne daß die Haltbarkeit oder Dichtigkeit der Naht beeinträchtigt ist.

  1. PATENTANSPRUCH: Gasschutzmaske aus Gummistoff mit durch aufgelegten Gummi gedichteten Nähten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, @däß die Nahtkanten leicht nach außen abgebogen sind und der auf der Innenseite der Maske auf die Nähte aufvulkanisierte Gummi mit den anstoßenden Innenflächen der Maske eine glatte oder eine nahezu glatte Fläche bildet.
