Claims (10)
1. Vorrichtung zum Nachweis oder zur Messung der Konzentration
eines Analyten, umfassend:
einen ersten elektrischen Isolator;
ein Elektrodenpaar, bestehend aus Arbeits- und Gegenelektrode von im Wesentlichen der gleichen Größe,
wobei die Elektroden aus den gleichen elektrisch leitfähigen Materialien hergestellt sind und auf dem ersten elektrischen
Isolator getragen werden;
einen zweiten elektrischen Isolator, der den ersten
elektrischen Isolator und die Elektroden überlagert und einen Ausschnittsbereich umfasst, der einen kleineren
Oberflächenbereich von der Gegenelektrode als von der Arbeitselektrode freilässt;
ein Reagenz zum Nachweis oder zur Messung der Konzentration des Analyten, wobei das Reagenz im
Wesentlichen die freigelegten Elektrodenoberflächen in dem Ausschnittsbereich bedeckt; und
ein Verteilernetz, imprägniert mit einem oberflächenaktiven Mittel, welches den Ausschnittsbereich überlagert und an
dem zweiten elektrischen Isolator befestigt ist,
worin der Ausschnittsbereich und das Verteilernetz eine
ausreichende Größe aufweisen und das Reagenz in einer ausreichenden Menge vorliegt, um eine minimale

Vollblutprobe von etwa 9 Mikroliter zur Analyse des Analyten aufzunehmen.
2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, worin das Verteilernetz an das
zweite Substrat durch ein Band, welches einen Klebstoff auf einer Seite und eine Öffnung aufweist, die mindestens einen Teil des
Verteilernetzes und des Ausschnittsbereichs freilässt, befestigt ist und worin das Band auch mindestens einen Schlitz nahe der
Öffnung umfasst, wodurch mindestens ein Luftloch bereitgestellt wird.
3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, weiterhin umfassend ein Strommessgerät in elektrischer Verbindung mit der Arbeits- und
Gegenelektrode.
4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, worin das Band Schlitze an gegenüberliegenden Seiten der Öffnung umfasst, wodurch zwei
Luftlöcher bereitgestellt werden.
5. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, worin der Ausschnittsbereich 4 mm &khgr; 4,2 mm ist.
6. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 5, worin das Verteilernetz 6 mm &khgr; 5,8
mm ist.
7. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, worin die Reagenzmenge vor dem Trocknen 4&mgr;&Igr; ist.
8. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 7, worin das Verteilernetz mit Dioctylnatriumsulfosuccinat imprägniert ist.

9. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 8, worin die Öffnung in dem Band im Wesentlichen den gesamten Ausschnittsbereich freilässt.
10. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 9, weiterhin umfassend ein
Strommessgerät in elektrischer Verbindung mit der Arbeits- und Gegenelektrode.
