  • Farbenfabriken Bayer, Leverkusen E@ wurde gefunden, (laß das Kupfersalz der selenigen Säure sehr gut zum Vernichten von Pilzen geeignet ist. "Zrr diesem @'er,#%,cudringszweck kann (las Kupferselenit in üblicher Weise mit Sulfitpech und anderen Emul-;iomshil(lne rn ver mahlen werden. Die auf diesem Wege hergestellten Präparate geben mit Wasser angerührt Spritzbrühen, die direkt zum Bespritzen von Pflanzen, die mit Pilzen verseucht sind, verwendet werden kiinnen.
  • Die folgende Tabelle gibt eine Cbersicht über die Wirkung des Kupferselenits im Vergleich mit dem bishor angewendeten Kupferoxychlorid:

    Die Zahlen bedeuten: bei 5 ist eine restlose Abtötung der Pilze erfolgt, bei ,¢ eine etwa go°/oige und bei 3 eine etwa 75a/oige Abtötung. Aus der Tabelle geht- hervor, daß das Kupferselenit dem bisher verwendeten Kupferoxychlorid gleichwertig ist. Gegenüber dem Kupferoxychlorid hat das Kupferselenit den Vorteil, daß es einmal eine längere Dauerwirkung hat und zum anderen bei Überdosierung keine Verbrennungserscheinungen auf Pflanzen gibt.
