Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine S chattier matte, hauptsächlich zum annähernd 'waagerechten. Anbringen über Beeten zum Schutz von Pflanzen gegen Sonnenbrand oder leichten Frost. Die Matte nach der Erfindung ist billig, haltbar und leicht beweglich. Gegenüber Schattiermatten -mit parallelen, in Abständen voneinander angeordneten Streifen hat die Matte nach der Erfindung den Vorteil, daß eine günstigere Schattemvirkung auch eintritt, · wenn die Matte in Ost-West-Richtung gespannt ist. Dies wird nach der Erfindung dadurch erreicht, daß zwischen parallelen Stäben Streifen aus -biegsamem Stoff zickzackf örmig gelegt sind.
Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist in der Abb. 1 schaubüdlich, in Abb. 2 in Draufsicht dargestellt.
Die Matte besteht aus parallel mit Abständen angeordneten Stangen 1, von denen je zwei benachbarte zickzackförmig durch Streifen aus biegsamem Stoff, wie z. B. zähem, wasserfestem Papier, umwunden sind in solcher Weise, daß der folgende Streifen durch die Lücken des vorhergehenden gelegt ist.
Die Streifen sind nur an ihren Enden an den Stangen befestigt, während sie an den übrigen Stellen gleitfähig aufliegen, um stets eine gleichmäßige Spannung in allen Teilen der Streifen zu erzielen. Um eine seitliche Ver-Schiebung der .Streifen zu verhindern, kann eine Schnur oder ein Draht 3 um die Stangen ι geschlungen werden.
Durch die Zickzackführung der Streifen wird außer einer günstigen Beschattung erreicht, daß auch bei unebenem Gelände alle Teile der Streifen gleichmäßig gespannt sind, so daß ein Flattern der Streifen im Wind und ein Zerreißen nicht eintritt.

Claims (2)

Patentansprüche:
1. Schattiermatte für gärtnerische Zwecke, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwischen parallelen Stäben (1) Streifen aus biegsamem Stoff (2) zickzackförmig gelegt sind.
2. S chattier matte nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streifen (2) nur mit ihren Enden an den Stäben (1) befestigt sind.
