Description
PATENTSCHRIFT
Klasse 34.
C. G. OELGARTE in TREPTOW a. d. Toll. Brotschneidemaschine.
Patentirt im Deutschen Reiche vom 6. December 1878 ab.
Diese Brotschneidemaschine besteht aus einem kastenartigen Holzgestell zur Aufnahme des
Brotes und den an der Vorderseite des Kastens mittelst Schrauben befestigten Eisentheilen nebst
Stahlmesser.
Die Gestalt des Holzgestelles ist aus Fig. 2 und Fig. 3 zu erkennen. Fig. 2 zeigt namentlich
ein verstellbares Mittelbrett a, um den Raum zur Aufnahme des Brotes beliebig verengen
oder erweitern zu können. Fig. 1 läfst den doppelten eisernen Bügel b b b erkennen,
der am Holzkasten befestigt ist und an welchem oben links ein durch eine Kurbel in Bewegung
gesetztes Zahnrad e sich befindet. Dieses Zahnrad greift in die eiserne Zahnstange d, die sich
zwischen zwei schräg liegenden eisernen Leitstangen e und bezw. /, Fig. 2, auf- und abschiebt,
und die zugleich das Messer g, welches rechts durch den beweglichen eisernen Arm h
gehalten wird, auf- und abzieht. Die Bewegung des Messers ist aus der senkrechten und waagerechten
Bewegung zusammengesetzt. In Fig. 2 stellen / i zwei eiserne Streben dar, welche die
Leitstangen der Zahnstange in ihrer Lage halten. Das Zusammenwirken der beschriebenen Vorrichtungen ermöglicht es, mit Anwendung von
geringer Kraft Brot zu durchschneiden und bewirkt, dafs das Brot beim Durchschneiden nicht
mehr zusammengedrückt wird, als etwa die brotschneidende Hand es thut.

hebelartig wirkenden Vorrichtung.
