Description
Das Hauptpatent 448 620 betrifft ein Verfahren zur Darstellung von verbesserten Brennstoffen, bestehend in dem Zusatz von Eisencarbonyl zu flüssigen Brennstoffen.
Es wurde nun gefunden, daß Benzin und benzinartige Kohlenwasserstoffe (Gasolin u. dgl.), die einen Zusatz von Eisencarbonyl gemäß Hauptpatent erhalten haben, vielfach noch weiter verbessert werden können, indem man außerdem das Klopfen vermindernde lösliche sauerstoff- oder stickstoffhaltige organische Verbindungen zufügt, mit Ausnahme solcher sauerstoff- oder stickstoffhaltiger Verbindungen, welche gleichzeitig Halogen enthalten. Die zur Vermeidung des Klopfens bei der Verwendung als Motortreibstoff erforderliche Menge Eisencarbonyl kann hierdurch verringert werden. Auch die Ablagerung von Eisenoxyd wird unverhältnismäßig stark verringert.
Beispiel 1
97 Volumen Gasolin, 0,10 Volumen Eisencarbonyl, 3 Volumen Methanol (wasserfrei).
Statt Methanol kann man andere Alkohole, wie z. B. Isobutylalkohol, oder andere sauerstoffhaltige Verbindungen, wie Aldehyde, z. B. Isobutylaldehyd, Ketone oder Ester, z. B. Methylformiat, oder stickstoffhaltige Verbindungen, z. B. Anilin, Butylamin, Benzylanilin, oder Nitroverbindungen, z. B. Nitrobenzol, verwenden. Gleichzeitig können die im Patent 491 431 vorgesehenen Zusätze oder andere in dem Brennstoff lösliche Verbindungen von Metallen oder metallähnlichen Elementen erfolgen.
Als weitere Beispiele seien angeführt:

Claims (1)
- Verfahren zur Verbesserung von Brennstoffen und Treibmitteln gemäß Patent 448 620, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß dem Benzin neben Eisencarbonyl noch das Klopfen verhindernde lösliche sauerstoff- oder stickstoffhaltige organische Verbindungen zugesetzt werden mit Ausnahme solcher sauerstoff- oder stickstoffhaltigen Verbindungen, welche gleichzeitig Halogen enthalten.
