Description

  • Verfahren zur Darstellung wasserunlöslicher Azofarbstoffe Es wurde gefunden, daB man zu wasserunlöslichen Azofarbstoffen von hervorragenden Echtheitseigenschaften und besonders klaren, alizarinrotähnlichen Nuancen ;gelangt, wenn man die Diazoverbindungen von m-Xy -lidinen nachstehender Konstitution
    worin R =Wasserstoff oder ein Alkylrest
    sein kann und R, = ein Benzoylrest oder
    ein substituierter Benzoylrest ist, mit Ary-
    liden der :! # 3-Oxvnaphthoesäure für sich oder
    auf der Faser kombiniert.
    Beispiel i
    Die mit 5 g 2 # 3-Oxynaphthoesdure-u-naph;
    thalid pro Liter grundierte Baumwolle wird in
    bekannter Weise mit 2,4 g Benzoyiamino-as-
    m-sylidin -
    (NH3, CH3, CH3, NH . CO . CgH; = z : 2: q.: 5)
    pro Liter entwickelt und ,geseift. Man er-
    hält so ein blaustichiges Rot.
    Beispiel 2 Die mit 5 g des 2 # 3-Oxynaphthoes,äure-5-chlor-2-toluidids pro Liter grundierte Baumwolle wird mit 2,5 g Methylbenzoylaminoas-m-xylidin entwickelt und in bekannter Weise weiterbehandelt. Es resultiert ein blaustichi,gges Rot. Beispiel 3
    Wenn man an Stelle des '4#ethylblenzo.yl-
    aminoxylidins des Beispiels 2 3 g Dichlor-
    benzoylaanino-as-m-xylidin pro Liter
    nünmt, so erhält man ein etwas gelberes blaustichiges Rot als in den Beispielen i und 2.

Claims (1)

  1. PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung wasserunlöslicher Azofarbstoffe, dadurch gekennzeich- net, daß man Arylide der z - 3-Oxynaph- thoesäure mit den Diazoverbindungen von solchen r : a : 4. as-m-Xylidinen für sich oder auf der Faser kombiniert, die in 5-Stellung noch eine Aminogruppe haben,
    bei der ein .Wasserstoffatom durch einen Benzoylrest oder einen substituierten Ben.-zoylrest ersetzt ist und bei der das zweite Wasserstoffatom durch einen Alkylrest ersetzt sein kann.
