Description
- Verfahren zur Darstellung von Küpenfarbstoffen. In dem Patent 255 641 ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines gelben Küpenfarbstoffs der Anthracenreihe beschrieben, bei dem Pyrazolanthron mit Ätzalkalien erhitzt wird. Es wurde nun gefunden, daß Farbstoffe der gleichen Art entstehen, wenn man Acyl-2-halogenpyrazolanthrone oder deren Derivate und Substitutionsprodukte mit Metallen oder ähnlich wirkenden Mitteln erhitzt. Bei längerem Erhitzen werden die Acylgruppen mitunter ohne weiteres ganz oder zürn Teil abgespalten, erforderlichenfalls werden die Reaktionsprodukte nachträglich verseift.
- Beispiel. i Teil Acetyl-2-brompyrazolanthron vom Fp. 2o9 bis :211', erhältlich z. B. durch Erhitzen von 2-Brompyrazolanthron mit Essigsäureanhydrid und wenig konzentrierter Schwefelsäure, wird mit- i Teil Kupfer und i Teil Naphthalin gut gemischt, worauf man die Mischung bis zur Beendigung der Kondensation auf 23o bis 25o° erhitzt. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird in bekannter Weise von Naphthalin und Kupfer befreit und der Rückstand aus Monochlorbenzol umkristallisiert. Die erhaltene Acetylverbindung bildet gelbliche Kristallblättchen, die sich in Schwefelsäure unter gleichzeitiger Verseifung mit rotoranger Farbe lösen. Beim Eingießen der schwefelsauren Lösung in Wasser fällt der im Patent 255641 beschriebene Farbstoff in feiner Verteilung aus.
Claims (1)
- PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung von Küpenfarbstoffen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Acyl-2-halogenpyrazolanthrone mit Metallen oder ähnlich wirkenden Mitteln erhitzt und die Reaktionsprodukte erforderlichenfalls mit verseifenden Mitteln behandelt.
