Description
Ein spezifisches Beispiel für die bevorzugte Ausführungsform des Behandlungsverfahrens, bei dem eine Alkalimetallborat-Verbindung als Flußmittel verwendet wird, wird im folgenden gegeben: Es wurde eine Reihe von polykristallinen Aluminiumoxidrohren in eine Natriumboratschmelze für verschiedene Zeiten bei erhöhten Temperaturen im Bereich von etwa 762 bis 857°C eingetaucht, um die Wirkung der chemischen Polierbehandlung auf die optische Gesamtdurchlässigkeit zu messen. Es wurde dabei als Flußmittel eine eutektische
