Antimagnetisches alkalisches Mniaturelement
Vorliegende Erfindung hat zum Gegenstand ein antimagnetisches
alkalisches Miniaturelement mit einer positiven Elek- λ
trode, welche Quecksilberoxyd, Silberoxyd oder Mangandioxyd enthält, und einer negativen Elektrode aus porösem amalgamiertem
Zink.
Bei der Entwicklung von elektronischen bhre.i hat sich gezeigt,
dass die Verwendung eines nicht-magnetischen Elementes gewisse Vorteile in bezug auf die Ganggenauigkeit mit sich bringen
würde. Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein galvanisches Element,
welches ausBchliesslich Bauteile enthält, die absolut
antimagnetisch sind.
Bekanntlich eignen sich für galvanische Miniaturelemente
höchster Enerjiedichte positive Elektroden aus Schwermetalloxyden,
insbesondere Quecksilberoxyd oder Silberoxyd, und negative \
Elektroden aus amalgamiertem Zink. Der Elektrolyt besteht aus
einer Lösung von Kalium oder Natriumhydroxyd t Galvanische Zellen
dieser Art zeichnen sich durch eine konstante Spannung während der Entladung und durch ihre hohe Kapazität pro Volumeneinheit
aus.
Das erfindungsgemässe Miniaturelement ist dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass das mit der positiven Elektrode Im elektrischen Kontakt stehende Gehäuse aus einer äntima^netiBchen, praktisch
unelfistlochen Nickellegierung mit mindestens 65# Nickel besteht
und an den nicht durch Biegung verformten Stollen eine Härte von nicht mehr aLs 250 Vickerselnheiten aufweist und dass der

mit Zink im elektrischen Kontakt stehende·Deckel aus einem
elastisch federnden antimagnetischen Laminat besteht.
Die Erfindung ist an Hand der Zeichnung beispielsweise erläutert.
Der Deckel des erfindungsgemässen zylindrischen Knopfelementes von beispielsweise 11,4 mm Durchmesser und 3,4 mm Höhe
ist aus einem Laminat sweier verschiedener Metalle gefertigt. Die Innenseite 2 besteht aus einer Federbronze, -welche 3-15$,
vorzugsweise B% Zinn, und 97-85$, vorzugsweise 92$ Kupfer enthält.
Sie kann auch aus federmessing sein. Die äussere Schicht
des Laminates besteht aus einer antimagnetisehen nichtrostenden Nickellegierung« Es eignet sich beispielsweise ein Material,
welches als Markenprodukt unter dem Famen "Monel81 bekannt ist«
Dieses Material ist völlig antimagnetiseh« Seine Zusammensetzung
ist etwa 60 « 10% ITickel, 25 - 35% Kupfer und 1 - 7# Eisen.
Diese Legierung zeichnet sich auch durch ihre gute Haftbarkeit
auf Bronze aus.
Das antimagnetische Laminat aus Bronze und Monel eignet sich insbesondere zur Herstellung des Deckels für alkalische
Miniatur elemente mit Zinkelektrode«,, Die Bronzescläicht. 2 im
Kontakt mit der Zinkelektrode 9 weist im amalgamierten Zustand
eine sehr hohe Wasserstoffüberspannun^ auf. Dies verhindert
jegliche Wasserstoffentwicklung am Deckel, welche zu unerwünschten
inneren Druckanstieg im Element führen könnte.
Des weiteren zeichnet sich der Deckel durch sein ausgezeichnetes elastisches Verhalten aus» Beim Verschluss der
Zelle wird nämlich durch Einbördeln des Randes des Element-Gehäuses
4 der Deckel federnd deformiert. Dadurch entsteht eine dauernde Pederwirkung auf den Dichtungsring 8, was dem
Element selbst bei einer sehr langen Lagerung eine ausgezeichnete Dichtigkeit verleiht.
Der federnde Deckel aus Bronze-Monel-Laminat weist vorzugsweise
eine relativ hohe Elastizität und eine Härte von

über 125 Vickerseinheiten für die Bronzeschicht, und über 250
Vickerseinheiten fUr die Monelschicht auf. Die Dicken der beiden
Schichten betragen 0,05 - 0,5 mm, vorzugsweise 0,1 - 0,25
mmf Die beiden Schichten brauchen nicht gleich dick zu sein.
Wesentlich ist, dass die Bronzeschicht genügend dick und porenfrei ist, um jeglichen Kontakt des Elektrolyten mit der Monelschicht
zu vermeiden und dem Deckel die beschriebene Federwirkung zu verleihen. f
Der Dichtungsring 8 ist aus Nylon gefertigt, welcheB in
bezug auf Deformation.durch Kaltfluss besonders widerstandsfähig
ist.
Die äussere Schicht 1 aus Monel verleiht eine nicht-rostende
Aussenseite und gestattet einen niederohmigenv elektrischen
Kontakt für den Anschluss des Elementes.
Die poröse .negative Elektrode aus Zinkpulver 9 ist von
der positiven Elektrode 5 durch die Separatorschicliten 6 und
7 getrennt. Die positive Elektrode 5 ist im Kontakt mit dem Zellengehäuse
4, welches den positiven Pol bildet.
Im beschriebenen antimagnetisGhen Element besteht das Gehäuse 4 aus einer antimagnetischen Nickellegierung, welche "
mindestens 65$ Nickel enthält, legierungen dieser Art zeichnen
sich durch ihre ausgezeichnete Korrosionsfestigkeit in alkalischen Elektrolyten beim Potential von Quecksilber- oder Silberoxydelektroden
aus. Als Beispiel sei die als Markenprodukt bekannte legierung nInconel 600" erwähnt, welche folgende chemische
Zusammensetzung aufweist:
C 0.03, Si 0.18, Cu 0.04, Pe 7.32, Mn 0.09, Mg 0.017,
Cr 15.5, Ti 0.26, Al 0.12, Co 0.17, Mo 0.20, Ni BAL
Das Ifeterial für das Gehäuse 4 kann unter Schutzgas ausgeglüht
und warmbehandelt werden, um ihm eine erniedrigte Elastizität und Härte zu verleihen. Im Gegensatz zum Deckel soll das
Metallgehäuse 4 also plastisch, und nicht elastisch, deformier-

bar sein. Das antimagnetische hoch nickelhaltige Gehäuse 4 ist charakterisiert durch eine Vickersharte von nicht mehr als 250
Einheiten, vorzugsweise deutlich niedriger.
Das antimagnetische Miniaturelement gemäss vorliegender Erfindung zeichnet sich durch einen Aufbau aus, der bei gegebenen
äusseren Dimensionen ein maximales Innenvolumen und damit eine maximale Kapazität gewährleistet. Des weiteren zeichnet
sich das erfindungsgemässe antimagnetische Element durch die
Verwendung von Konstruktionsteilen aus, welche eine ausgezeichnete Dichtigkeit gewährleisten. Ausgedehnte Untersuchungen haben
gezeigt, dass die Materialien, welche für die Gehäusekonstruktion verwendet werden, in bezug auf elastisches Verhalten,
Härte und Korrosionsfestigkeit ganz bestimmten Anforderungen genügen müssen. Im beschriebenen Element wird eine Kombination
von Materialien verwendet, welche diesen Anforderungen in verschiedenster Hinsicht am besten gerecht wird.

Claims (4)
- Patentansprüche:(l»)y Antimagnetisches alkalisches Miniaturelement mit einer positiven Elektrode, welche Quecksilberoxyd, Silberoxyd oder Mangandioxyd enthält, und einer negativen Elektrode aus porösem amalgamiertem Zink, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das mit der ^ positiven Elektrode im elektrischen Eontakt stehende Gehäuse aus einer antimagnetischen, praktisch unelastischen Nickellegierung mit mindestens 65$ Nickel besteht und an den nicht durch Biegung verformten Stellen eine Härte von nicht mehr als 250 Vickerseinheiten aufweist und dass der mit Zink im elektrischen Kontakt stehende Deckel aus einem elastisch federnden antimagnetischen Laminat besteht.
- 2.) Miniaturelement nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die äussere Seite des Deckels aus einer antimagnetischen nicht-rostenden Nickellegierungsschicht besteht, und dessen innere Seite aus einer Schicht aus Kupfer, Zink, Zinn oder deren ^ Legierungen besteht, wobei mindestens eine Schicht des Laminates aus einer Pederlegierung besteht.
- 3.) Miniaturelement nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dans die innere Schicht des Deckels aus eiher Pederbronze mit 3 - 15$ Zinn und 97 - 85$ Kupfer, vorzugsweise 8$ Zinn und 92$ Kupfer, besteht, und dass diese Schicht eine Härte von über 125 Vickeraeinheiten aufweist.
- 4.) Miniaturelement nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet,, dass die äussere Schicht des Deckels eine Härte von über 250 Vickerseinheiten aufweint und elastisch federnd ausgebildet ist«0 0.9.8 46/1 1 5 1 BDRWLee rJe i t e
