Description
KAISERLICHES
PATENTAMT.
Gegenstand der Erfindung betrifft eine
Dampfmaschine mit umlaufendem, in der Kolbentrommel verschiebbarem Kolben und
bezweckt eine bessere Ausnutzung des Dampfes in diesen Maschinen.
Das Neue besteht darin, daß die Kolbentrommel mit Zellen versehen ist, welche der
Dampf beaufschlagt, bevor er auf die Kolben durch Expansion wirkt.
ίο Auf der Zeichnung ist die Erfindung in einem Querschnitt dargestellt.
Die Kolbentrommel ι ist außer den Arbeitskolben 13, 14, 15, 16 noch mit den Zellen
12 versehen. Die Zellen sind hier mit rundem Boden ausgeführt, sie können aber auch
einen spitzen Winkel bilden.
Diese Zellen stehen mit ihren Kanten 8 und 11 so zum Einlaßkanal 2, 3 und Arbeitsraum
6, 7, daß, wenn die Kante 11 den Punkt 10 überschreitet, Kante 8 bei dem Punkt 9
im Arbeitsraum 6 oder 7 angelangt ist. Der in die Zellen eintretende Dampf wirkt hier
durch Stoß und wird beim Umlauf des Rades beim Überschreiten der Kante II über die
Kante 10 des Dampfeintrittskanals 2 abgeschnitten. Zu gleicher Zeit ist aber auch
Kante 8 über Punkt 9 hinweggeglitten, so daß der in der Zelle eingeschlossene Dampf
in den Arbeitsraum 6 bzw. 7 eintreten und auf den Kolben nun durch Expansion wirken
kann.
Claims (1)
- Patent-Anspruch:Dampfmaschine mit umlaufendem, in der Kolbentrommel verschiebbarem KoI-ben, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kolbentrommel mit Zellen versehen ist, welche der eintretende Dampf beaufschlagt, bevor er auf die Kolben durch Expansion wirkt.Hierzu 1 Blatt Zeichnungen.
