KAISERLICHES
PATENTAMT.
Es sind bereits Vulkanisiervorrichtungen zum Zusammenvulkanisieren von Schlauchenden aus
Kautschuk auf einem inneren Dorn unter Umstülpen eines Schlauchendes und Überschieben
des anderen über das umgestülpte Ende mit Verwendung eines geschlitzten Rohres bekannt. Gegenstand der Erfindung
ist eine Vorrichtung dieser Art, bei welcher, um eine Vulkanisierung bei gleichmäßiger
ίο Hitze zu erzielen, der Dorn heizbar ist. Zu
diesem Zweck ist derselbe mit einem zweiteiligen Mantel versehen, durch welchen Dampf oder sonstige Heizmittel in der Weise
geleitet werden, daß sie zuerst längs der einen Hälfte des Mantels bis zum Ende des
Dorns und um eine Längswand längs der anderen Hälfte des Mantels in entgegengesetzter
Richtung nach außen geführt werden. In der Zeichnung zeigt

Fig. 3 einen Längsschnitt nach Linie C-D der Fig. 1.
Die Vorrichtung besteht im wesentlichen aus einem zylindrischen Metallrohr a, welches
in bekannter Weise mit einem sich über seine ganze Länge ausdehnenden Schlitz b versehen
ist. Dieses Rohr wird von einem Heizmantel c umgeben, der durch eine geeignet
angeordnete Längswand d in der Weise geteilt ist, daß der in den Dampfmantel
durch ein Zuleitungsrohr f eingeführte Dampf längs der einen Hälfte des Mantels
und hierauf um das Ende dl der Längswand d längs der anderen Hälfte des Mantels
in entgegengesetzter Richtung geleitet wird.
Gegenüber dem Zuleitungsrohr f ist für den Austritt des Dampfes sowie des Niederschlagwassers
ein mit einem Absperrhahn e1 versehenes Auslaßrohr e angeordnet.
Bei Anwendung der Vorrichtung wird das Ende des zu verbindenden Kautschukschlauches
g durch den Längsschlitz b des Metallrohres α hindurchgeführt und ein genügend
langes Stück des Schlauches g freigelassen und über das Ende der äußeren Rohrwand gestülpt, so daß die Innenseite
desselben nach außen zu liegen kommt.
Das Ende des anderen zu verbindenden Kautschukschlauches wird dann über das bereits
an der Vorrichtung umgestülpte Schlauchende gespannt und schließlich ein Teil des
Schlauches g über das Ende, das mit ihm verbunden werden soll, zurückgefaltet, wie
aus Fig. 3 ersichtlich ist.
Die beiden Oberflächen, welche miteinander verbunden werden sollen, werden vor
dem Überziehen in der üblichen Weise bearbeitet. Die Verbindungsstelle wird dann
durch geeignete Mittel, z. B. den Streifen g1,
dicht abgebunden, worauf durch Einleiten von Dampf in den Heizmantel das Zusammenvulkanisieren
der Schlauchenden bewirkt
wird. Der Längsschlitz b kann durch eine abnehmbare, entsprechend gekrümmte Platte h
überdeckt werden.
Claims (3)
1. Vorrichtung zum Zusammenvulkanisieren von Schlauchenden aus Kautschuk
auf einem inneren Dorn unter Umstülpen eines Schlauchendes und Überschieben des
ίο anderen über das umgestülpte Ende, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, daß der Dorn heizbar ausgebildet ist.
2. Eine Ausführungsform der Vorrichtung nach Anspruch i, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß ein Rohr (a) mit Längsschlitz (b) von einem Heizmantel (c) umgeben
ist, der an einem Ende mit Ein- und Auslaßstutzen (f, e) versehen ist und
durch eine Längswand (d) derart in zwei Teile geteilt ist, daß das eintretende
Heizmittel längs des einen Mantelteils bis zu dessen Ende und um das Ende der Längswand herum längs des anderen
Mantelteils zurückgeleitet wird.
3. Eine Ausführungsform der Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, gekennzeichnet
durch eine den Schlitz (b) vollkommen überdeckende Platte (hj.
