2. Ausführungsform des Verfahrens gemäß Anspruch I, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man als Lösungsmittel wässerige
Lösungen von Bisulfiten verwendet, welche ohne Zusatz von Säuren auf Heliotropin
spaltend wirken.

1. Ausführungsform des durch Patent 162822 geschützten Verfahrens zur'
Darstellung von Protocatechualdehyd aus Heliotropin, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
man bei dem durch das Hauptpatent geschützten Verfahren die Spaltung des Heliotropins in Gegenwart von solchen
Stoffen ausführt, welche Lösungsmittel für Heliotropin sind.
