Abstract
Description
Claims (21)
ersten Elektroden, die sich in Spaltenrichtung erstrecken, wobei die Anzahl der ersten Elektrode das doppelte der Anzahl der Anzeigespalten ist;
zweiten Elektroden, die sich in einer Zeilenrichtung erstrecken, wobei die zweite Elektrode alle zwei Anzeigezeilen vorgesehen ist;
Pixeln, die in einer Zeilenrichtung und einer Spaltenrichtung angeordnet sind, wo bei jedes Pixel aus drei Teilpixeln für drei Lumineszenzfarben besteht, die der Reihe nach in der Zeilenrichtung angeordnet sind, wobei jedes Teilpixel in jeder der Regionen vorge sehen ist, wo die ersten Elektroden die zweiten Elektroden in der Draufsicht schneiden, die Teilpixel so angeordnet sind, daß sie in der Zeilenrichtung zwischen benachbarten zwei Anzeigezeilen um ein halbes Rastermaß zueinander verschoben sind, die Lumineszenz farbe der Teilpixel, welche für die gleiche erste Elektrode vorgesehen sind, als eine einzige Farbe vereinheitlicht ist, und die Lumineszenzfarben der drei benachbarten Teilpixel die an den Dreieckspositionen in zwei benachbarten Anzeigezeilen angeordnet sind, voneinander unterschiedlich sind; und
einer organischen Lumineszenzschicht zwischen der ersten Elektrode und der zweiten Elektrode, die Lumineszenz emittiert, indem an die ersten und zweiten Elektroden eine Spannung angelegt wird, damit zwischen diesen ein elektrischer Strom fließt.
Ladungsinjektionsteile, die auf jedem der Teilpixel vorgesehen sind, wobei die An zahl der Ladungsinjektionsteile die Hälfte der Anzahl der Anzeigezeilen ist; und
Verdrahtungsteile, die die Ladungsinjektionsteile miteinander verbinden.
Anlegen von Spannungen an die ersten und zweiten Elektroden auf dem Weg einer passiven Matrix unter der Voraussetzung, daß die erste Elektrode eine Datenelektrode und die zweite Elektrode eine Abtastelektrode ist.
