插塞连接器及其预组装方法
技术领域
本发明涉及一种插塞连接器及其预组装方法,该插塞连接器具有接头以及壳体和盖,每一接头均具有用于线缆的连接端。
背景技术
例如从DE 101 46 430 A1中公知这样的插塞连接器。
本公开描述了一种用于气囊系统的插塞连接器,该插塞连接器具有壳体以防止电磁干扰(EMI)影响,在该壳体上成90°角布置有插塞部件,并且在该壳体周围布置有插塞接头和电子元件。所述壳体部件通过一盖关闭,该盖通过锁合而紧固在该壳体上,一辅助锁合件的U形轭部通过该盖而接合在所述插塞部件中。这样的插塞连接器以单个部件形式交付给汽车工业中负责生产线束的供应商(线束制造商),从而使这些供应商能对接头进行布线,之后对它们进行组装,然后交付给消费者。当组装这些插塞连接器时,可能会突然出现错误,但是由于对线束制造商来说,这种插塞连接器不过是许多连接器中用于特殊布线的一个,因而不值得考虑将该工序自动化。
发明内容
因此,本发明的目的是进一步改进已知设计的插塞连接器,从而使该插塞连接器能以预组装状态交付,并且可在无需打开整个组件的情况下对该插塞连接器进行布线。该目的根据权利要求得以实现。
本发明的优选实施例的特征体现在附属权利要求中。
根据本发明的插塞连接器具有这样的优点,即在将该插塞连接器连接到线缆上时,该插塞连接器的所有部件,例如接头、铁芯、辅助锁合轭、壳体以及盖都固定接合在一起。优选通过压接进行该连接。该压接过程适于自动化,这样省时而且成本经济。

具体实施方式
图1示出了根据本发明的插塞连接器1的部件,从下至上如以下所列:带有插塞部件7的壳体6接收有接头2,所述接头包括其铁元件8。该壳体6由盖9关闭,辅助锁合件19的U形轭18通过该盖9接合。辅助锁合件19具有两个锁合位置,即组装位置和最终位置,辅助锁合件在该最终位置锁合插塞连接器和气囊系统的点火装置之间的连接。
接头2具有插塞或插口端3以及用于与连接线缆5相连接的后部连接端4。盖9通过卡合扣(Rastlaschen)25和卡合件(Rastnasen)24的锁合而紧固到壳体6上。插塞连接器的所有内部部件都通过将盖9锁合到壳体6上而固定在它们的适当位置处。
在图2a中,盖9的左部具有挡板10,该挡板10可绕轴12朝顶部向上摆动。可这样形成回转轴,即在回转轴的区域内为作为注射成型塑料件的盖设置较小的材料厚度,从而使上挡板10可绕该材料的较薄部分回转。在关闭位置中,通过使卡合扣14位于对应的卡合件15上而将上挡板10锁合在壳体6上。在挡板10的上侧引入有卡合元件16,该卡合元件16可与辅助锁合件19的轭18的相对定位的边缘上的对应卡合元件17咬合在一起,从而使辅助锁合件19的轭18的位置和上挡板10的打开位置都固定。挡板11在壳体H(这里未示出)上的类似固定也是可行的。
图2a表示在上挡板10打开的情况下,从上部倾斜地观察时根据本发明的插塞连接器1。可看出在上挡板10打开时,可从顶部自由接近接头2的线缆连接端4。图2b表示同样在下挡板11打开的情况下,插塞连接器的底视图,从而也可以在底部上自由接近接头2的连接区域4。可以以这种不同于完全组装和关闭插塞连接器的方式进行布线(优选通过压接)。为此,在挡板10和11打开的情况下,将插塞连接器放在压接砧(未示出)上,通过压接工具从相反侧使接头2的线缆连接端变形。
在该位置中,铁芯和辅助锁合件19以及接头2都被刚性地固定,从而这里不可能产生不规则性。线缆5的保护套被压入张力释放件21中,该张力释放件21通过接合在套材料中的齿来固定线缆。为了将线缆5更牢固地压入张力释放件21中,在盖10的底侧上形成有模制件20,在盖10被锁合时这些模制件将线缆5更牢固地压入张力释放件21内。
如在图2b中可见,壳体6的下挡板11通过卡合肩部22锁合,该卡合肩部22形成在下挡板11的侧壁上,并进入形成在壳体6的侧壁上的对应槽23内。下挡板11也可通过材料变薄而绕回转轴13回转。
图3a和图3b示出了用于下挡板11的可选保持一夹持装置。
这里,在下挡板11的顶侧上布置有彼此相对放置的夹子26,当夹子26处于打开状态时,这些夹子接合在肋30后方,该肋30沿着在插入方向上延伸的轮廓的一个边缘布置。这样,确保了下挡板11例如在弯曲工序期间可靠地保持打开。图3b示出了关闭的挡板11。
图4a和图4b示出了用于下挡板和上挡板的另一可选保持元件。这里,在注射成型期间,在挡板10、11均打开近似90°时,在壳体或盖与属于壳体或盖的相应挡板10或11之间铸出保持肋28a、28b,只要试图用力使这些挡板关闭,这些保持肋就会分别在预定断裂点29a和29b处断裂。于是,挡板被释放。
在成功地用接头2的连接端4压接线缆端部之后,使挡板10和11关闭并锁合。这样,可将插塞连接器直接用于其应用现场,从而将辅助锁合件19的轭18锁合在预组装位置,并可通过在该应用场合进一步按压该轭而使其变换到最终锁合位置,从而使该插塞连接器确定地锁合。
图5以剖面示意性地示出了本发明的另一实施例,其中相同的附图标记表示以上给出的本发明的相同特征。图5的实施例与以上实施例的不同之处在于,壳体6和盖9不分开设置,而是具有容纳部(Aufnahme)40,该容纳部40以与壳体6和盖9的组合相同的方式包围接头的连接端4,并优选还包围接头2的位于前方(图5中的左侧)的插塞或插口端3,并且该容纳部40在接头2的连接端4的两侧上具有两个开口。所述开口中的至少一个(优选为两个)可由挡板10和11关闭。该实施例的结构、功能和应用与以上关于图1至图4所描述的相同。挡板的锁合以及插塞连接器的其它特征也可设计成与以上所述相同。容纳部40可形成为单件。
图5底部的略图说明了接头2的插塞或插口端3以及连接端4的有效方向的角位置。图5的实施例中的接头2的插塞或插口端3可沿方向41延伸,该方向相对于连接端4的方向43的延长线42以小于90°(特别是小于60°,优选小于20°)的角α倾斜。在图5中,插塞或插口端3的方向位于连接端4的方向43的延长线上,因此与其形成180°的角(α=0°)。在图1至图4的实施例中,α优选等于70°至110°,更优选等于90°。
在组装期间,首先将接头2插入容纳部40中。这可通过沿图5的纵向方向移动该接头来完成,因此从左侧或者优选从右侧移动。如果几何比允许,或者如果接头被构造成从左侧区域相对于右侧区域倾斜,也可通过能被挡板10、11关闭的窗口中的其中一个窗口插入该接头。接着,可通过压接或焊接将线缆端部5紧固到接头2的连接端4上,然后关闭挡板10、11。
通常,如图5中所示,可设置紧固装置以将接头固定或紧固到壳体6和/或盖9或者任选地固定到容纳部40上,从而防止接头在其组装后移动。紧固装置可设有突部61,该突部61在内部朝壳体6或盖9或容纳部40的前方伸出,当接头2被插入壳体6和/或盖9或者任选地被插入容纳部40内时,该突部61在后面钩住接头2的突起或边缘62(例如冲孔63的边缘),从而一旦在组装期间已经将接头2插入,就能防止接头2向后移动。可为正插入的接头或者形成在该接头上的表面或边缘设置朝向前方的止动件。
通常,一个或多个挡板10、11可具有卡合装置26、30,挡板10、11可通过该卡合装置26、30停留在打开位置,从而在将接头2连接到线缆5上时,所述挡板可保持在限定的打开位置中,因此该挡板不会妨碍组装过程。一个挡板10、11能在壳体6和/或盖9或者容纳部40的合适构造的区域上通过该卡合装置以可逆方式锁合在打开位置。该卡合装置可具有钩或夹持装置。
本发明实施例的示例的上述说明不应理解为限制,而仅用于说明权利要求中所限定的本发明。例如,在不背离本发明的情况下,用于将线缆端部紧固到接头的连接端上的各种替换技术都是可行的。因此,例如还可通过焊接而不是压接来形成连接。

Claims (17)

1、一种插塞连接器(1),该插塞连接器(1)具有:
接头(2),每一接头(2)均具有用于线缆(5)的连接端(4);
壳体(6),以及
盖(9);
该插塞连接器的特征在于:
所述壳体(6)和所述盖(9)均具有在接头(2)的所述连接端(4)的高度处的挡板(10,11),并且当这些挡板处于打开位置时,可自由接近接头(2)的所述连接端(4),以紧固所述线缆(5)。
