Description

使基材与物体接合的方法
本发明主要涉及将具有第一表面的基材与具有第二表面的物体接合的方法。该方法对于将屋顶膜接合在一起、将屋顶膜与屋顶基材接合和对于接合管件尤为有效。该方法使用一种可固化的一元或二元(one or two part)粘合剂组合物,该组合物包括有机硼络合物引发剂体系和一种或多种含有能够通过自由基聚合进行聚合的不饱和烯键的单体、低聚物、聚合物或它们的混合物。
热塑性聚合物被广泛用于制造屋顶膜之类的制品。需要良好耐腐蚀性和耐化学性、低重量和良好可塑性的用于压力和无压条件下的气体、液体、固体、浆料或类似物的输送或用于保护敏感部件(例如光导纤维或光缆)的制品如管材或接管零件也是由热塑性聚合物制成的。这些应用常常需要层、管和/或其它物体之间的连接。热塑性材料制成的制品的接合可以通过机械方法(例如螺纹接头、接口、法兰);化学方法(例如溶剂胶接);或通过热方法(例如熔融粘结)实现。
对于小直径管和无压用途,机械接头通常能很好地发挥作用,但是它们对于大直径管和/或耐压管系统缺乏成本竞争力或技术上不适合。
溶剂胶接广泛地用于一些热塑性塑料,例如聚氯乙烯管和配件。通常,溶剂粘合使用一种溶剂基底漆或清洁剂处理待粘合表面,并连同过盈配合连接一起使用含有一种或多种溶剂和树脂的液状粘固剂系统。液状粘固剂可以不与底漆或清洁剂一起使用,然而接合完整性可能受损。然而,过盈配合连接限制了在胶接之前精确布置管材和配件的能力。粘合剂底漆广泛地与聚(氯乙烯)和氯化聚(氯乙烯)管道系统的溶剂基粘固剂一起使用以确保可接受的接头粘合。然而,底漆向环境中释放多达650克/升的挥发性有机化合物(VOC)。此外,粘合强度不一致,且溶剂基系统不能很好地用于许多热塑性管材和配件材料,例如聚烯烃。
对于屋顶系统,所选材料通常是聚氯乙稀(PVC)和聚烯烃。屋顶工业中层板的主要粘合是热形成的,也就是通过空气加热枪进行的。手持空气加热枪的使用是一种非常缓慢的工艺并通常产生很差的密封,即使这些材料如果被适当并经济地密封,就可以承受环境状态。不幸的是,该方法在复杂区域、边缘和弯曲处不能很好地发挥作用。聚乙烯和聚丙烯之类的低表面能材料(在24℃表面能为16至30mJ/m2)用的现有粘合剂体系不能充分粘合这些材料。然而,本文提出的粘合密封可用于缝隙接合以及屋顶上的遮雨板、管道和其它障碍物周围的膜敷设。本文提出的粘合剂体系可以改进密封完整性、减少涂底漆和清洁操作,并降低劳动力成本。在将简单的屋顶层板粘合到复杂弯曲处时,本发明的粘合剂体系提供了高强度、韧度和挠性、耐化学性、简单和独特的接合完整性、最少的长期维护、和快速简单的敷设。
相应地,需要一种在热塑性(尤其是聚烯烃)制品之间形成大面积连续经济和牢固接合的方法,其具有较低VOC排放并且方便经济。本发明满足了这一需求。
本发明公开了一种将具有第一表面的基材与具有第二表面的物体接合的方法,包括下列步骤:
(i)在基材的第一表面和/或物体的第二表面上涂敷有效量的可固化粘合剂组合物,其中粘合剂包括
(b)有效量的有机硼烷胺络合物引发剂和
(b)一种或多种含有能够通过自由基聚合法进行聚合的不饱和烯键的单体、低聚物、聚合物或它们的混合物和
(ii)将基材的第一表面与物体的第二表面接触。
本发明的另一具体实施方式是一种修补具有一个或多个需要修补的表面的新的或现有基材、物体或基材/物体接合处的方法,包括下列步骤:
(i)在需要修补的表面和/或补片上涂敷有效量的可固化一元或二元粘合剂组合物,其中粘合剂包括
(a)有效量的有机硼烷胺络合物引发剂和
(b)一种或多种含有能够通过自由基聚合法进行聚合的不饱和烯键的单体、低聚物、聚合物或它们的混合物和
(ii)将补片粘合到需要修补的表面上。
本发明的又一具体实施方式是具有第一表面的基材,该基材与具有第二表面的物体粘合,其中用有效量的可固化一元或二元粘合剂组合物将第一表面与第二表面粘合,其中粘合剂包括

有机硼烷胺络合物引发剂可以表示为下式

在本发明的又一具体实施方式中,粘合剂组合物进一步含有有效量的含异氰酸酯的化合物;一种或多种含有开环杂环部分的未聚合的或部分聚合的化合物,且任选含有一种能够引发含杂环部分的化合物聚合的路易斯酸催化剂;一种或多种能够聚合的在骨架中含有硅氧烷基团和反应性部分的化合物、低聚物或预聚物;一种或多种在骨架中含有硅氧烷基团的化合物、低聚物或预聚物,其含有在暴露于潮湿环境时形成能够将有机硼烷胺络合物解络合的酸的部分;或它们的混合物。
任何能够用于接合的基材和物体都适合本发明。接合在一起的膜(例如屋顶膜)、接合到基材(例如屋顶材料)上的膜、或接合在一起或接合到接管零件上的管特别适合本发明。
屋顶膜之类的膜可以包括如上所述的各种热塑性聚合物,而且可以由这些聚合物的掺合物制成。在WO 03/033585(PCT/US02/27968)和WO 00/69965(PCT/US00/13359)中列出了这些膜的例子。
聚乙烯特别适合用于本发明,优选低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)、线型低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)、中密度聚乙烯(MDPE)、高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)、交联聚乙烯(PEX)。聚乙烯可以是均聚物、与α-烯烃的共聚物或它们的混合物。聚乙烯的混合物可以包括齐格勒-纳塔聚合的聚乙烯和金属茂聚乙烯的混合物,例如USP 5,844,045中所公开的。优选的α-烯烃是C3至C20α-烯烃,更优选丙烯、1-丁烯、甲基-4-戊烯、1-己烯、和2-辛烯。乙烯/α-烯烃/二烯聚合物也可用于本发明。这些常被称作EPDM。二烯可以是能有效地与乙烯和α-烯烃共聚的任何二烯,其中亚乙基降冰片烯是优选的。
制造聚乙烯的方法是公知的,并包括使用各种聚合技术,包括高压自由基聚合法、溶液法、浆料法和气相法。如USP 4,076,698中所公开的溶液法是合适的。USP 4,076,698公开了具有相对较宽分子量分布(MWD)的不均匀支化的聚乙烯。用于各种聚合方法的催化剂体系包括齐格勒纳塔催化剂技术,如USP 4,076,698中所示的技术,也包括单点催化剂技术,例如USP 3,645,992和5,064,802中所公开的技术(约束几何结构催化剂技术)。USP 3,645,992中公开的技术产生具有非常窄MWD的均匀支化的线型聚乙烯。USP 5,064,802的催化剂技术在连续聚合法中使用时,产生基本线型聚乙烯(长链支化程度为每1000个碳原子0.01-3个长链分支,还具有非常窄的MWD)。其它(金属茂)催化剂技术包括USP 5,026,798和5,055,438中公开的技术。基本线型聚乙烯的例子可以在USP 5,272,236、5,278,272和5,665,800中找到。所列举的所有美国专利都全文经此引用并入本文。在经此引用并入本文的未决美国申请10/222273中公开了优选的聚乙烯。
较低粘度的聚乙烯优选用于例如注射成型。可用于本发明的低粘度聚乙烯的熔体流动速率(MFR)通常等于或大于1克/10分钟(克/10分钟),优选等于或大于2克/10分钟,更优选等于或大于5克/10分钟,最优选等于或大于10克/10分钟。可用于本发明的低粘度聚乙烯的熔体流动速率通常等于或小于1000克/10分钟,优选等于或小于500克/10分钟,最优选等于或小于50克/10分钟。除非另行指明,按照ASTMD1238在190℃和2.16千克(kg)的施加载荷下测定低粘度PE树脂的熔体流动速率。
或者,较高粘度的聚乙烯优选用于例如吹塑、旋转模塑和挤出。可用于本发明的高粘度聚乙烯的MFR通常等于或大于0.1克/10分钟,优选等于或大于0.2克/10分钟,更优选等于或大于0.3克/10分钟,最优选等于或大于0.4克/10分钟。此处可用于挤出的高粘度聚乙烯的熔体流动速率通常等于或小于2克/10分钟,优选等于或小于1克/10分钟,更优选等于或小于0.8克/10分钟,最优选等于或小于0.6克/10分钟。按照ASTM D1238在190℃和5千克的施加载荷下测定高粘度PE的熔体流动速率。
类似地,可以使用本发明粘合官能化聚合物。这些官能化聚合物包括马来酸酐接枝的聚烯烃、羧酸官能化聚合物,例如乙烯/丙烯酸和乙烯/甲基丙烯酸,和由其制成的离子交联聚合物。
适用于本发明的聚丙烯是文献中公知的,而且可以通过已知技术制备。一般而言,聚丙烯是全同立构形式的,尽管也可以使用其它形式(例如间同立构或无规立构的)。用于本发明的聚丙烯优选是聚丙烯均聚物或丙烯与α-烯烃(优选C2或C4-C20α-烯烃)的共聚物,例如无规或嵌段共聚物。构成丙烯与α-烯烃共聚物的优选α-烯烃包括乙烯、1-丁烯、4-甲基戊烯、1-己烯和1-辛烯。α-烯烃在本发明的聚丙烯中的存在量等于或小于20摩尔%,优选等于或小于15摩尔%,更优选等于或小于10摩尔%,最优选等于或小于5摩尔%。
优选聚丙烯是具有高结晶度的全同立构聚丙烯。测定聚丙烯结晶度的优选方法是差示扫描量热法(DSC)。如本文所述,通过DSC测定的高结晶度为聚丙烯重量的至少40wt%,更优选至少50wt%,再优选至少62wt%,再优选至少64wt%,最优选至少68wt%。通过DSC测定的聚丙烯的结晶度小于或等于聚丙烯重量的100wt%,优选小于或等于90wt%,更优选小于或等于80wt%,最优选小于或等于70wt%。
优选的聚丙烯是偶联聚丙烯。为了进行偶联,聚丙烯与能够向碳-氢键中进行插入反应的多官能化合物反应。此处优选作为偶联剂的是含有至少两个能够插入聚合物链的CH、CH2或CH3基团(脂族和芳族)的碳-氢键中的官能团的化合物。优选的偶联剂是聚(磺酰基叠氮),更优选二(磺酰基叠氮)。在WO 99/10424中描述了可用于本发明的聚(磺酰基叠氮)的例子。优选的聚(磺酰基叠氮)包括4,4’-氧-双-(磺酰叠氮基)苯、2,7-萘双(磺酰叠氮基)、4,4’-双(磺酰叠氮基)联苯、4,4’-二苯醚双(磺酰叠氮)和双(4-磺酰叠氮基苯基)甲烷,和它们的混合物。
本领域技术人员了解,偶联剂的有效量取决于所选偶联剂和聚丙烯的平均分子量。通常,聚丙烯的分子量越低,就需要越多偶联剂。偶联剂的有效量为足以产生形成管和/或配件所需的充足熔体强度的量,但小于交联量。通常,以聚丙烯重量为基数,用于偶联的聚(磺酰基叠氮)的有效量等于或大于50份/百万份(ppm),优选等于或大于75ppm,更优选等于或大于100ppm,最优选等于或大于150ppm。必须避免交联聚丙烯的形成,因此,以聚丙烯重量为基数,双(磺酰基叠氮)的量限于等于或小于2000ppm,优选等于或小于1500ppm,更优选等于或小于1300ppm。
低粘度聚丙烯优选用于例如注射成型。可用于本发明的低粘度聚丙烯的MFR通常等于或大于1克/10分钟,优选等于或大于5克/10分钟,最优选等于或大于10克/10分钟。此处可用于注射成型的低粘度聚丙烯的熔体流动速率通常等于或小于50克/10分钟,优选等于或小于40克/10分钟,最优选等于或小于35克/10分钟。除非另行指明,按照ASTM D1238在230℃和2.16千克(kg)的施加载荷下测定聚丙烯的熔体流动速率。
或者,高粘度聚丙烯优选用于例如吹塑、旋转模塑和挤出。可用于本发明的高粘度聚丙烯的MFR通常等于或大于0.1克/10分钟,优选等于或大于0.2克/10分钟,最优选等于或大于0.5克/10分钟。此处可用的高粘度聚丙烯的熔体流动速率通常等于或小于10克/10分钟,优选等于或小于5克/10分钟,最优选等于或小于1克/10分钟。
本发明的接合基材和物体用的粘合剂可以是一元可固化组合物或二元可固化组合物,这些术语是本领域已知的。一元粘合剂组合物含有有效量的稳定的有机硼烷胺络合物引发剂和可聚合单体。二元粘合剂组合物在一个部分中含有有效量的稳定有机硼烷胺络合物引发剂,在另一部分中含有可聚合单体。这些粘合剂是本领域已知的,参看USP5,106,928、5,286,821、5,310,835、5,376,746、5,539,070、5,690,780、5,691,065、5,616,796、5,621,143、5,681,910、5,686,544、5,718,977、5,795,657、5,686,544和美国专利申请系列号09/466321、10/012629、10/095326和10/377440。
该络合物中使用的有机硼烷是三烷基硼烷或烷基环烷基硼烷。优选地,这种硼烷符合下式

可在本发明的粘合剂组合物中使用的可聚合化合物包括含有可通过自由基聚合法进行聚合的不饱和烯键的任何单体、低聚物、聚合物或它们的混合物。这些化合物是本领域技术人员公知的,而且在USP3,275,611中有所描述。优选的含有不饱和烯键的化合物是由丙烯酸酯和甲基丙烯酸酯生成的单体、低聚物、聚合物和它们的混合物,和一种或多种具有硅氧烷骨架并含有丙烯酸酯官能部分的单体、低聚物或聚合物。最优选的丙烯酸酯和甲基丙烯酸酯化合物包括丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯酸乙酯、丙烯酸2-羟乙酯、丙烯酸4-羟乙酯、丙烯酸2-羧乙酯、乙二醇甲醚丙烯酸酯、丙烯酸2,2,2三氟乙酯、甲基丙烯酸甲酯、甲基丙烯酸丁酯、甲基丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、甲基丙烯酸异冰片酯、甲基丙烯酸四氢呋喃酯和甲基丙烯酸环己基甲酯。
在一些具体实施方式中,本发明的粘合剂组合物可以进一步含有有效量的能与胺反应的化合物以释放出有机硼烷,从而引发聚合(解络合剂)。胺反应性化合物通过与胺反应释放出有机硼烷,由此从与胺的化学连接中释放出有机硼烷。合意的胺反应性化合物是在优选室温20℃至22℃下容易与胺形成反应产物的那些材料,从而提供在环境条件下容易使用并固化的组合物。这些化合物的一般类型包括酸、醛、异氰酸酯、酰基氯、磺酰氯、它们的混合物。在一个具体实施方式中,优选的胺反应性化合物是酸。可以使用布朗斯台德和路易斯酸。Pocius,美国专利5,718,977在第9栏,第1至15行描述了优选的酸化合物。最优选的酸是丙烯酸和甲基丙烯酸。
在另一优选具体实施方式中,本发明的粘合剂组合物进一步含有有效量的含异氰酸酯的化合物(解络合剂),其可与络合胺反应以释放出有机硼烷并引发聚合。胺反应性化合物通过与胺反应释放出有机硼烷,由此从与胺的化学连接中释放出有机硼烷。含异氰酸酯的化合物与组合物中存在的胺反应形成脲、聚脲或聚氨酯/脲相。当使用过量含异氰酸酯的化合物,所得产物中几乎或完全不存在游离胺。通过去除游离胺,防止了胺的增塑影响。此外,存在的脲或聚脲提高了所得产物的耐热性。
含异氰酸酯的化合物(如果使用的话)可以是能使有机硼烷胺络合物解络合的任何异氰酸酯化合物。优选地,该异氰酸酯是每化合物标称上含有2个或更多异氰酸酯部分的聚异氰酸酯。在USP 5,872,197中公开了可用的异氰酸酯化合物。更优选的含异氰酸酯的化合物包括二异氰酸亚甲基二苯酯、异佛尔酮二异氰酸酯、二异氰酸六亚甲酯、甲苯二异氰酸酯、异构体、或二异氰酸甲基环己烷、二异氰酸四甲基二甲苯酯的聚合形式。
优选地,所得聚合产物中脲或聚脲的存在量为5wt%或更高,更优选为10wt%或更高,最优选为15wt%或更高。优选地,所得聚合产物中聚脲的存在量为50wt%或更低,更优选为45wt%或更低,最优选为40wt%或更低。脲百分比是指脲/尿烷(氨基甲酸乙酯)相在最终产物中的重量百分比。其测定通常如下:将异氰酸酯和胺(和存在的任何其它异氰酸酯反应性化合物)的重量相加并将该和除以这些成分的总重量。
在另一具体实施方式中,粘合剂是二元可固化粘合剂,其含有包括能够自由基聚合的可聚合化合物的第一部分,和包括有机硼烷胺络合物和一种或多种具有开环杂环部分的未聚合或部分聚合化合物的第二部分。在一个优选具体实施方式中,通过使杂环化合物与路易斯酸催化剂接触来引发杂环化合物的开环聚合。这两部分可以是可混溶的、部分可混溶的或不混溶的。在一个优选具体实施方式中,可聚合组合物含有两相,一相基于通过烯键聚合的化合物,第二相通过杂环部分的开环反应聚合。本发明的固化组合物优选含有在多数情况下不混溶的两个区域。在一些具体实施方式中,这两个区域是分离相或是两种不同聚合物的互穿网络。如果该组合物含有交联化合物,这两个区域就可以互相化学键接。
含有杂环开环部分的化合物可以是含有能够进行开环和聚合的杂环部分的任何单体、低聚物或预聚物。杂环部分中的杂原子优选为氮、氧或硫,其中氮和氧是优选的,氧最优选。优选地,杂环部分是3元环。优选的杂环部分是环氧乙烷和氮丙啶,其中环氧乙烷部分最优选。这种含环氧乙烷的材料的例子是双酚A的二环氧甘油醚、三2-3-环氧丙基异氰脲酸酯、四苯酚(phenylol)乙烷环氧甘油醚、聚(苯基缩水甘油醚并甲醛)、聚(苯基缩水甘油醚并二环戊二烯)、以及三羟甲基丙烷三缩水甘油醚、任何其它缩水甘油基改性的脂族含环氧乙烷的材料、四缩水甘油基亚甲基氨苯、缩水甘油醚改性的聚(二甲基硅氧烷)、和任何其它缩水甘油醚、缩水甘油酯或缩水甘油胺。此处所用的氮丙啶是指环中含有氮的三元环。可用的含氮丙啶的分子的例子是三羟甲基丙烷三[2-甲基-1-氮丙啶丙酸酯]、季戊四醇三[3-(1-吖丙啶基)丙酸酯]、2,4,6-三吖丙啶-1-基-(1,3,5)三嗪、2,3二苯基氮丙啶、和1-丁酰基氮丙啶。
本发明的粘合剂组合物可以包含一种或多种含有硅氧烷骨架和能够聚合的反应性部分的化合物、低聚物或预聚物,并任选包含一种用于一种或多种含有硅氧烷骨架和能够聚合的反应性部分的化合物、低聚物和预聚物的聚合的催化剂。
或者,适用于本发明的粘合剂是一元组合物,其含有有机硼烷胺络合物;一种或多种含有能够通过自由基聚合法进行聚合的不饱和烯键的单体、低聚物或聚合物;和在其骨架中含有硅氧烷基团并含有在接触湿气时释放出能够使有机硼烷胺络合物解络合的酸的部分的化合物。该组合物可以如下聚合:使该组合物在部分分解形成酸的条件下接触大气湿度,这导致有机硼烷胺络合物分离并引发聚合。
本发明中可用的含有硅氧烷骨架和能够聚合的反应性部分的化合物、低聚物或预聚物包括在其骨架中含有硅氧烷单元的如下任何化合物、低聚物或预聚物,其含有能够在适当反应条件下聚合的反应性基团。此处所用的低聚物是指一些可识别的通过反应性部分连接在一起的化学单元。低聚物可以被认为是仅含少数单元的小聚合物,例如二聚物、三聚物、四聚物或五聚物。基体(mer)用于指低聚物或聚合物的一个基本的可识别化学单元,并通常是生成低聚物或聚合物用的化合物的残余部分。预聚物是指含有数个基本的可识别化学单元的化合物,其包括聚合物,也就是数个基体,它们还含有能够使化合物进一步反应的反应性基团。实践中,预聚物是含有不同数量的基本可识别化学单元的聚合物的混合物,并且可以含有一定量的低聚物。术语“含有硅氧烷骨架”此处是指化合物、低聚物和/或聚合物的骨架在骨架中含有带硅和氧原子的基本的可识别化学单元。优选地,硅氧烷的基本的可识别化学单元符合下式

可用于本发明的实践的一类硅氧烷聚合物包括乙烯基官能化硅氧烷,它们可以通过自由基或加成机理进一步聚合。乙烯基官能化硅氧烷包括骨架中含有硅氧烷单元并含有可聚合烯烃部分的化合物、低聚物和预聚物。乙烯基官能化硅氧烷可以在骨架中含有亚烃基(hydrocarbylene)和/或氟代亚烃基(fluorocarbylene)单元。
本发明中可用的另一类含硅氧烷的化合物、低聚物或预聚物是含有末端硅烷醇基团或可水解基团的硅氧烷,其在接触湿气时形成硅烷醇基团。硅氧烷链上的末端硅烷醇基团可以使化合物、低聚物或预聚物在催化时通过缩合进行反应。这些反应在室温下作为一部分或两部分聚合系统进行。在存在硅烷醇缩合催化剂的情况下,该反应在室温下发生。硅烷醇缩合催化剂是本领域公知的。
粘合剂组合物可以进一步含有其它添加剂,例如增稠剂,优选中至高分子量(10,000至1,000,000)聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯;弹性材料,例如氯化或氯磺化聚乙烯、苯乙烯和共轭二烯的嵌段共聚物、和某些接枝共聚物树脂,例如,含有被相对较硬的壳围绕的橡胶或类橡胶芯或网络的颗粒,这些材料通常被称作“芯-壳”聚合物;交联剂;过氧化物;抑制剂;色料;填料;溶剂,等等。粘合剂组合物还可以含有反应性或非反应性稀释剂以平衡该组合物两部分的体积,从而实现两种组分在商业上可接受的体积比。还可能合意的是添加溶剂(例如甲基乙基酮、乙酸乙酯、乙酸丙酯和二氯甲烷)以提高润湿性和/或平衡挥发性,使得蒸发最优化,使该材料不会过度刺鼻。
在将基材和物体接合之前,可以通过电晕、火焰、磺化、等离子之类的方法处理接合表面。然而,在本发明中,在接合之前可以不要求对接合表面进行表面处理。
能够提供足够表面积(用以通过本发明的方法将该物体与基材接合)的任何物体都是合适的。例如,基材可以是完整屋顶膜或可以与需要修补的屋顶接合的补片。应该理解的是,这些材料被互换作为物体或基材,这种指定并不重要。例如,当与膜粘合时,屋顶可以被看成基材或物体。
优选地,本发明的粘合剂组合物具有等于或小于650克/升(g/l),优选等于或小于520克/升,更优选等于或小于510克/升,再优选等于或小于490克/升,再优选等于或小于400克/升,再优选等于或小于285克/升,再优选等于或小于270克/升,再优选等于或小于250克/升,最优选等于或小于17克/升的VOC排放。
当使用本发明的方法时,预计基材会与物体保持粘合(也就是没有任何粘合失效)达至少三十年。对于屋顶系统,这意味着该膜在大气条件(温度范围-40℃至90℃,相对湿度0-100%)下预计会与屋顶粘合至少30年。
尽管已经详细展示和描述了本发明的具体实施方式以说明本发明的原理,要理解的是,还可以在不背离这些原理的情况下以其它方式具体实施本发明。

Claims (26)

1.一种将具有第一表面的基材与具有第二表面的物体接合的方法,包括下列步骤:
(i)在基材的第一表面和/或物体的第二表面上涂敷有效量的可固化粘合剂组合物,其中粘合剂包括
(a)有效量的有机硼烷胺络合物引发剂和
(b)一种或多种含有能够通过自由基聚合法进行聚合的不饱和烯键的单体、低聚物、聚合物或它们的混合物和
(ii)将基材的第一表面与物体的第二表面接触。
2.根据权利要求1的方法,其中所述基材是屋顶膜。
3.根据权利要求1的方法,其中所述基材和物体独立地包括金属、多层塑料、多层复合材料、热塑性塑料、热固性材料;或它们的混合物。

13.根据权利要求1的方法,其中所述粘合剂进一步含有:有效量的含异氰酸酯的化合物;一种或多种含有开环杂环部分的未聚合的或部分聚合的化合物,并任选含有一种能够引发含杂环部分的化合物聚合的路易斯酸催化剂;一种或多种能够聚合的在骨架中含有硅氧烷基团和反应性部分的化合物、低聚物或预聚物;一种或多种在骨架中含有硅氧烷基团的化合物、低聚物或预聚物,其含有在接触湿气时形成能够将有机硼烷胺络合物解络合的酸的部分;或它们的混合物。
14.根据权利要求1的方法,其中所述粘合剂含有可聚合丙烯酸酯单体。
15.根据权利要求1的方法,其中所述粘合剂具有低于650克/升的VOC排放。
16.根据权利要求1的方法,其中所述粘合剂具有低于270克/升的VOC排放。
17.一种修补具有一个或多个需要修补的表面的新的或现有基材、物体或基材/物体接合处的方法,包括下列步骤:
(i)在需要修补的表面和/或补片上涂敷有效量的可固化粘合剂组合物,其中所述粘合剂包括
(a)有效量的有机硼烷胺络合物引发剂
(b)一种或多种含有能够通过自由基聚合法进行聚合的不饱和烯键的单体、低聚物、聚合物或它们的混合物
(ii)将补片粘合到需要修补的表面上。
18.根据权利要求1的方法,其中所述粘合剂进一步包括液体。
19.根据权利要求18的方法,其中所述液体包括水。
20.一种具有第一表面的基材,该基材与具有第二表面的物体粘合,其中粘合包括:
(i)在基材的第一表面和/或物体的第二表面上涂敷有效量的可固化一元或二元粘合剂组合物,其中所述粘合剂包括
(a)有效量的有机硼烷胺络合物引发剂
(b)一种或多种含有能够通过自由基聚合法进行聚合的不饱和烯键的单体、低聚物、聚合物或它们的混合物。
21.根据权利要求1的方法,其进一步包括对基材/粘合剂/物体施加有效量的压力以使该粘合剂固化的步骤。
22.根据权利要求1的方法,在步骤(ii)之前进一步包括使粘合剂在空气中暴露足够时间以产生粘合剂原始强度的步骤。
23.根据权利要求1的方法,其中所述可固化粘合剂化合物是一元化合物。
24.根据权利要求1的方法,其中所述可固化粘合剂化合物是二元化合物。
25.根据权利要求1的方法,在步骤(i)之前进一步包括确保第一和第二表面基本不含水的步骤。
26.根据权利要求1的方法,在步骤(i)之前进一步包括确保第一和第二表面基本不含油的步骤。
