Abstract
本发明涉及一种能控制泡沫形成,含有大量表面活性非离子烯化氧加合物和水溶助长剂的己基糖苷作为的清洁和稳定的强碱性组合物。该组合物有非常好的润湿和清洁能力,可用于硬表面的清洁,丝光处理过程和纤维和织物的清洁、脱浆或洗涤过程。
Description
本发明是申请日1998年9月15日、申请号98810743.0、名称“含有己基糖苷作为水溶助长剂的强碱性组合物”发明申请的分案申请。
本发明涉及一种能控制泡沫形成,含有大量表面活性非离子烯化氧加合物和己基糖苷作为水溶助长剂的清洁和稳定的强碱性组合物。该组合物有非常好的润湿能力和清洁能力,可用于硬表面的清洁,丝光处理过程和纤维和织物的洗涤、脱浆或洗净过程。
强碱性组合物,例如有高含量碱性剂如碱金属氢氧化物、碱性配位剂和硅酸盐的浓缩物,其pH值大于11,优选为大于13,常常用于清洁硬表面、丝光处理、洗涤等。在上述应用中,好的润湿性和清洁能力是必须的,这就需要存在大量合适的表面活性剂以降低由大量电解质所造成的高表面张力。在这些系统中控制泡沫形成也是重要的。为了使运输费用减至最小,这些浓缩物里应含有尽可能少的水和其它溶剂。如果浓缩物在运输和储存过程中保持均匀性也是有利的。
由于这些组合物中含有大量的电解质,如碱和/或碱性络合剂,所以溶解大量的表面活性剂特别是非离子表面活性剂是困难的。因此,为了改善溶解性,常常加入水溶助长剂,最常使用的水溶助长剂是乙醇和二甲苯磺酸钠或异丙苯磺酸钠。乙醇相当有效,但是有爆炸的危险,二甲苯磺酸钠或异丙苯磺酸钠在较大量表面活性剂的情况下相对效果不好。
如果使用不加水溶助长剂也可溶于碱性水溶液中的表面活性剂,将出现泡沫太多的问题,这就需要加入消泡剂。
烷基糖苷很早就使用在强碱性组合物里,见于例如EP-B1-589978、EP-A1-638685和US4240921。另外,烷基糖苷作为活性清洁剂用在平常使用的清洁剂组合物里是众所周知的,见于例如WO 97/34971、US4627931和EP-B1-075995。
EP-B1-589978描述了C8-C14烷基糖苷在天然和/或合成片状纺织品材料、丝线或短纤维的脱浆、漂白和碱性洗涤中作为表面活性助剂的应用,而EP-A1-638685涉及一种含有,单独或相结合的,C4-C18烷基糖苷、C4-C18烷基葡糖酰胺及其相应的磺化衍生物的丝光处理润湿剂。US4240921描述了含有烷基糖苷或烷基缩水甘油醚和表面活性非离子烯化氧加合物的液体强碱性清洁浓缩物。优选的烯化氧加合物是可作为消泡剂使用的,例如聚氧乙烯/聚氧丙烯的嵌段共聚物和封端的脂肪醇乙氧基化物。这种浓缩物含有
a)10-35wt%的碱金属氢氧化物,
b)10-50wt%的作为消泡剂的聚氧丙烯聚氧乙烯缩合物的第一种非离子表面活性剂和封端的乙氧基化脂肪醇的第二种非离子表面活性剂以及烷基糖苷或烷基缩水甘油醚的混合物,其中烷基糖苷或烷基缩水甘油醚和上述的第一种和第二种非离子表面活性剂的重量比是5∶1-10∶1,和
c)余量的水。
用这些浓缩物形成低泡沫的清洁剂组合物,其用途在于如食品工业上。
然而,US4240921公开的上述组合物要求存在于组合物中的烷基糖苷对其它非离子表面活性剂的比例相当高。另外,大家都知道,烷氧基化物如环氧乙烷-环氧丙烷嵌段共聚物型的消泡剂里含有大量的PO对产品的生物降解性有副作用。最后,封端的脂肪醇乙氧基化物通常是很差的润湿剂并且其清洁性能低。其存在还增加了额外量的烷基糖苷或烷基缩水甘油醚的需要。
所以就需要一种具有改善了性能的强碱性组合物。
现在发现,用下式表示的己基糖苷作为不溶于强碱性组合物且含有8-24个碳原子的烃基或酰基且在分子的烷氧基化部分至少有一个伯羟基的表面活性非离子烯化氧加合物的水溶助长剂制备的其pH值大于11,优选为最小是13,最优选为大于13.7的强碱性组合物具有优秀的清洁能力和润湿性,

其中R是8-24个碳原子的烷氧基R’O-或R”CONR-基团,其中R”是7-23个碳原子的烃基,R是氢或-(AO)x(C2H4O)yH基团,优选为氢,AO是2-4个碳原子的的烯氧基,x是0-5的一个数字,y是1-10的一个数字。
本发明还涉及一种其pH值大于11的组合物,它含有
a)3-50wt%的碱金属氢氧化物(alkali hydrox ide)和/或碱性络合剂,
b)0.05-30wt%的在分子的烷氧基化部分含有8-24个碳原子的烃基或酰基且至少有一个伯羟基的表面活性非离子烯化氧加合物,
c)0.04-30wt%的己基糖苷,和
d)20-97wt%的水。
己基糖苷和式II所示的非离子表面活性剂的重量比是1∶10-10∶1,优选为1∶10-4∶1。
应当指出的是,烷基糖苷已经使用在较低碱性的清洁剂组合物中,条件是不同的。这种组合物的例子可在US4488981和EP-B1-136844中找到。
US专利4488981和EP-B1-136844描述了用C2-C6的烷基糖苷以降低含水的液体清洁剂如液体香波和肥皂及重垢型液体清洁剂的粘度并防止相分离。C2-C4的烷基糖苷是最优选的烷基糖苷,因为它们能最有效地降低粘度。
另外,US专利5525256和H468的雕像发明(Statuary Invention)中描述了含有C8-C25的烷基糖苷作为清洁剂的工业和实验中的碱性液体清洁剂组合物。
但是,这些文献都没有公开含有至少3%,优选为至少20%碱和/或碱性助洗剂并且其pH值大于11,优选为最小是13,最优选为大于13.7的强碱性清洁剂组合物中的己基糖苷的出乎预料的效果。
式II所示的非离子表面活性剂的合适的例子是将醇或酰胺进行烷氧基化得到的烯化氧加合物。式II中的R基团可以是枝链的或直链的,饱和的或不饱和的,芳香族的或脂肪族的。合适的烃基R’的例子是2-乙基己基、辛基、癸基、椰油烷基、十二烷基、油烯基、菜油烷基和牛油烷基。特别合适的烃基R’是从羰基合成醇、Guerbet醇、在烷基链中包括2-4个式为-CH(CH3)-基团的甲基取代醇和直链醇得到的那些。其它合适的R基团是R”CONH-脂肪族酰氨基,其中R”CO优选为是从脂肪族酸如2-乙基己酸、辛酸、癸酸、月桂酸、椰油脂肪酸、油酸、菜油脂肪酸和牛脂酸衍生而来的。
组合物里碱金属氢氧化物(alkali hydroxide)优选为钠或钾的氢氧化物。碱性络合剂可以是无机物也可是有机物。在碱性组合物里通常使用的无机络合剂的例子是碱金属的硅酸盐和碱金属磷酸盐,例如三磷酸钠、正磷酸钠、焦磷酸钠、磷酸钠和相应的钾盐。通常的有机络合剂的例子是碱性氨基多膦酸盐、磷酸酯、聚羧酸盐,例如柠檬酸盐;氨基羧酸盐,例如次氮基三乙酸钠(Na3NTA)、乙二胺四乙酸钠、二亚乙基三胺五乙酸钠、1,3-丙二胺四乙酸钠和羟乙基乙二胺三乙酸钠。
组合物的润湿性归因于存在的非离子表面活性剂。己基糖苷本身不是润湿剂,但是作为表面活性剂的水溶助长剂时,因为其它不溶的表面活性剂现在溶解了并发挥其润湿性,所以能提高组合物的润湿性。有意想不到的高含量表面活性剂的浓缩物能溶解在强碱性含水相里,得到稳定,清洁的浓缩物或组合物所需的水溶助长剂的量比现有技术的少。这是非常另人吃惊的,因为用其它短链烷基糖苷的配方中不可能含有象该配方中存在的正己基糖苷那样大量的表面活性非离子烯化氧加合物。为了比较,实施例1例举列出了用短的和长的烷基糖苷配成的组合物。
本发明的组合物还具有不必加入现有技术中所用的消泡剂就可控制泡沫形成的能力。组合物中的产品都有良好的环境性能。它们易于生物降解、低毒性。
这种组合物有优秀的润湿性和清洁性,可有利地用于在pH大于11时的硬表面的碱性清洁,例如汽车清洗,丝光处理过程和纤维和织物的清洁、脱浆或洗涤过程。
当用于硬表面的清洁时,在使用前通常将组合物用水稀释,但是,在丝光处理过程中,可就使用这样的组合物。纤维和织物的清洁、脱浆或洗涤时,可以就使用这样的组合物也可稀释。
生产纺织品时,经线受到边缘应力,因此必须提供粘附于纤维上的保护涂料-浆料,形成耐磨损、有弹性的薄膜。浆料的两个主要大类是如淀粉和羧甲基纤维素的大分子的天然产品及其衍生物和如聚乙烯化合物的合成聚合物。当布匹织完时必须彻底地脱除浆料,因为它通常在接下来的完成工序中有不利的影响。脱浆过程可以是酶化或氧化,通常是在后续的碱性洗涤和漂白工段完成,在这些工段里,最初水不溶的淀粉降解产品和剩余的浆料部分水解和部分氧化分解并除去。
在洗涤过程中,纤维素分子内和分子间的氢键断裂,多糖上的极性羟基得以溶剂化。将杂质从纤维里面运输到外面。在碱性环境中,不同的植物部分(plant parts)发生水解作用,脂肪和蜡也水解。当使用NaOH时,所用的碱的浓度是大约4-6%。
在洗涤过程中,需要助剂以实现彻底润湿、乳化和分散水不溶性杂质、络合重金属离子并防止由大气中的氧所造成的纤维损伤。碱稳定性润湿剂和洗涤剂构成了一组重要的添加剂。足量的润湿剂/洗涤剂溶解于碱性水溶液中也是非常重要的,这通常需要加入水溶助长剂。这同样甚至更大程度地适用于丝光处理过程,进行丝光处理主要是为了改善棉纱的可染性。这个过程包括将棉纱在张力下用大约20-26%的苛性钠溶液在15-25℃下处理25-40秒。这种处理破坏了纤维素的螺旋形状,使得其对水,及后来的水基染料的可及性能得到改善。除了好的润湿性和碱性稳定性外,添加剂不造成泡沫也是重要的,因为泡沫将阻碍丝光处理浴里所要求的快速润湿性。
通过下面的实施例对本发明进行进一步的阐述。
实施例1
这个实施例显示出为了得到在含有10%、20%、30%和40%NaOH的溶液中的5%非离子表面活性剂的清溶液所需要的不同的烷基糖苷水溶性助长剂,RO(G)n的量。所用的非离子表面活性剂是其线性大于80%的,在窄范围催化剂存在下每摩尔醇用4摩尔环氧乙烷进行乙氧基化的C9-11的醇。除了丁基糖苷是来自SEPPIC的商业样品外,其它实验用的糖苷是实验室的样品。聚合度是1.4-1.6,对于较长的烷基链使用的葡萄糖的量稍微大一些。
过程:
5%的非离子表面活性剂加入到有不同量的氢氧化钠的水溶液中。将测试用的水溶助长剂在室温下滴加到那些非离子表面活性剂和氢氧化钠的含水混合物中,其加入量是正好足以得到清液。

对于只含有正己基糖苷的溶液,其量是(5+X)%,其中X表示实施例1和2中所用的量。

实施例4
用改进的Drave测试法测定含有正己基糖苷和非离子表面活性剂的强碱性组合物的润湿性,与只含有癸基糖苷的作对比。在改进的Drave测试法中,测出特定棉纱在大约0.1%的表面活性剂溶液中的以秒计的沉下时间。在这个例子中,使用下面的表格列出己基糖苷和非离子表面活性剂的浓度。

1)为了得到清液必须的量。
用下面的清洗实验来估价上表中配方的清洁效果:用柴油机中得到的油烟混合物将白漆板涂污。将25ml的测试液泼在油污板上使之停留1分钟。然后用大量的水流漂洗此板。所有的溶液和水的温度都保持大约15-20℃。这两种测试液都置于同一个板上。用Minolta ChromaMeter CR-200反射计测定清洗前和清洗后这个板的反射度。
进行测试时,既用了浓缩物又用了用水1∶3稀释成的溶液。用与该测试计相结合的计算机程序计算洗掉的赃物,由此得到的结果是,根据本发明的配方I,洗掉的赃物大约是85%,根据参照配方II,洗掉的赃物大约是44%。对于1∶3稀释溶液,相应的量分别是68%和21%。
同时还发现,当用正己基糖苷作水溶助长剂时,清洗过程中乳化的疏水性赃物在用水稀释后易于与废水分离。这是一个重要的优点,因为存在废水中低的油含量的日益增长的环境要求。
实施例8
下表中的一些例子示出了在水中需要加入多少正己基糖苷以得到含有不同类型和不同量的非离子表面活性剂及不同量的Na3NTA的清液。

1.下式的正己基糖苷在pH值大于11的强碱性组合物中作为水溶性助长剂的用途,其中所述碱性组合物含有:a)3-50wt%的碱金属氢氧化物和/或碱性络合剂,b)0.05-30wt%的在分子的烷氧基化部分含有8-24个碳原子的烃基或酰基和至少有一个伯羟基的表面活性非离子烯化氧加合物,c)0.04-30wt%的正己基糖苷,和d)20-97wt%的水;其中c)和b)的重量比为1∶10-4∶1;
