Abstract

Description
本发明涉及一种用于硬表面,尤其是金属表面的清洗剂。因此,它代表一种所谓的工业清洗剂,尤其是所谓的中性清洗剂。它由于是二醇醚与阳离子表面活性剂的特殊组合而低泡,因此在约15-80℃的所有应用技术相关温度范围内优选用作喷射清洗剂。
这种工业清洗剂主要在汽车工业及其支持工业中,主要在喷射清洗单元中用于清洗和钝化。它们适合在车身车间和装配车间中,对通过切割和非切割法加工成的部件进行中间和最后清洗。基本上所有的相关材料,如铁和钢、铝、硅铝合金、铜、黄铜、锌和塑料都可以处理,且可以去除大多数有机或无机污染物,如冷却润滑剂、防锈油、机油、助拉物质、颜料和轻金属尘。这种清洗剂还可用于常规的浸渍工艺,尽管其在喷射工艺中的应用是优选的。
这种工业清洗剂的化学基本组分通常为表面活性剂和有机阻蚀剂。后者能够在处理过程中和处理之后保证暂时的腐蚀保护作用。此外,这种清洗剂一般包含能够抵消非所需发泡作用的物质。在大多数情况下,要求使用这种泡沫抑制添加剂,因为从底物上分离并在清洗浴中累积的杂质能够用作发泡剂。
还有,由于清洗剂本身包含可在特定工作条件下,尤其是在喷射工艺中,产生非所需发泡的组分,如阴离子表面活性剂或能够在所讨论的工作温度下发泡的非离子表面活性剂,同样需要使用所谓的泡沫抑制剂。
从“Ullmanns Encyklopaedie der technischen Chemie”(乌尔曼化工大全),第4版,第22卷(1982),489-493页中,已知在洗涤和清洗剂中使用也称作脂肪醇乙氧基化物的脂肪醇聚乙二醇醚作为表面活性剂组分。但氧化乙烯在脂肪醇上的这种加成产物单独并不适用于喷射工艺,因为它们在15-80℃的使用温度下明显发泡。还已知使用脂肪醇乙氧基化物丙氧基化物作为低泡洗涤原料;参见,例如上述的Ullmann卷,494页。
DE-A-3620011描述了基于季铵化合物的阳离子表面活性剂及其在清洗剂中的应用。除了其它的清洗剂组分,这些阳离子表面活性剂可用于碱性pH值范围。
EP-A-0116151描述了一种通过加入阳离子表面活性剂或阳离子改性聚合物或其混合物,来再生和/或回收脱脂和清洗水溶液的方法。
EP-A-0054895描述了一种用于清洗硬表面的,非离子表面活性剂和作为阳离子表面活性剂的季铵化合物的表面活性剂混合物。在该混合物中,非离子表面活性剂的含量为20-95%重量,阳离子表面活性剂的含量为5-80%重量。
DE-A-4014859描述了一种用于清洗硬表面的低泡表面活性剂混合物,它包含至少一种季铵化合物以及至少一种烷基聚乙二醇混合醚。这些混合醚具有一个无环烷基或链烯基(具有6-18个碳原子)或一个环状烷基(具有5或6个碳原子)。这种表面活性剂混合物还可包含,在每种情况下都具有一个烷基或链烯基(具有6-18个碳原子)的烷基乙氧基化物或烷基乙氧基化物丙氧基化物。
从EP-A-275987中,已知一种用于燃气轮机压缩机的清洗剂,它包含4-95%重量的二醇醚、0.1-14%重量的非离子表面活性剂、0.01-6%重量的阳离子表面活性剂、和0-95%重量的水。EP-A-691397公开了一种用于硬表面的抗微生物清洗剂,它包含作为溶剂的C1-6-烷醇-C3-24-亚烷基二醇醚、两性和/或非离子表面活性剂、阳离子表面活性剂、助洗剂和水。DE-C-4102709提出了一种用于将金属表面去脂的组合物,它在水中包含15-30%重量的低级氧化烯在脂肪醇(浊点低于50℃)上的加成物、0.5-3%重量的阳离子表面活性剂、和10-20%重量的来自C2-5烷醇和低级二醇醚的辅助溶剂。
因此,已知包含脂肪醇乙氧基化物、阳离子表面活性剂和作为溶剂或增溶剂的低级二醇的组合物。本发明就在于意外发现,通过二醇与阳离子表面活性剂的适当组合,可达到优异的清洗效果,而这种组合物无需另外包含两性表面活性剂或起表面活性剂作用的脂肪醇烷氧基化物,如乙氧基化物或丙氧基化物。在此,按照EP-A-691397的公开内容,应该认为脂肪醇烷氧基化物是指在烷基中具有至少6个碳原子的醇的烷氧基化物。
所有可喷射表面活性剂体系在约0.5-5%重量的应用浓度下具有许多缺点:
1.为了保证低泡,要在所谓的浊点之上使用。因此,应用溶液通过分散的、富表面活性剂相产生浑浊。这种富表面活性剂相容易通过常规措施分离出来以延长使用期,如撇沫板、分离器、离心机或膜过滤,且不可再用于清洗工艺。
2.常规的非离子表面活性剂体系,如脂肪醇或脂肪胺乙氧基化物或丙氧基化物及其混合醚被划分为水害等级2。
3.具有良好去脂作用且浊点不在常规应用温度内的非离子表面活性剂,如具有4摩尔以上氧化乙烯的脂肪醇乙氧基化物或具有5摩尔以上氧化乙烯的脂肪胺乙氧基化物非常容易发泡,因此认为不能单独喷射应用,从而必须加入对清洗作用贡献很小或没有贡献的泡沫抑制剂。为了将这些泡沫抑制剂加入液体清洗剂浓缩物中,通常需要增溶剂,所谓的水溶助长物质以得到透明的浓缩物。这些增溶剂构成本身对清洗作用没有贡献的其它负载物。
作为对比,本发明的目的是提供一种具有有效清洗作用且没有上述缺点的新的物质组合。尤其是要提供一种具有活性清洗作用的新的物质组合,它可在约15-80℃的实际相关的温度下产生透明的、低泡且可喷射的清洗溶液,而无需为此另外使用泡沫抑制剂和增溶剂。
该目的通过一种包含二醇醚和阳离子表面活性剂的清洗剂浓缩物而实现,其特征在于,它包含小于0.1%重量的脂肪醇烷氧基化物和/或两性表面活性剂,且它包含:
(a)由以下通式表示的二醇醚:
R-O-(CH2-CH(CH3)O)n-H,
其中R表示具有1-4个碳原子的烷基或苯基;且n为1-5的数;和
(b)阳离子表面活性剂;
(a)与(b)的重量比为8∶1-100∶1。
优选这样一些具有上述通式的二醇醚,其中R表示具有1-4个碳原子的烷基或苯基;且n为1-3的数。此外,清洗剂浓缩物优选包含重量比(a)∶(b)为8∶1-25∶1的二醇醚和阳离子表面活性剂。
这种清洗剂浓缩物优选包含浓度为约5-约200克/升的二醇醚(a)、和浓度为约0.2-约25克/升的阳离子表面活性剂(b)。剩余物为水或其它活性或辅助物质,尤其是阻蚀剂的水溶液。
可用于本发明的二醇醚的例子为三亚丙基二醇单乙醚、二亚丙基二醇正丁醚、三亚丙基二醇正丁醚和丙二醇苯基醚。优选使用三亚丙基二醇单甲醚和三亚丙基二醇正丁醚。
阳离子表面活性剂(b)优选选自季铵化合物,对应于以下通式:

其中:
R1表示具有1-22个碳原子的直链或支链烷基;
R2可表示氢原子或具有1-22个碳原子的直链或支链烷基;R1和R2中的碳原子总数为10-22;
n为0或1;
R3和R4独立地表示甲基、乙基、2-羟乙基或羟丙基;
R5表示具有1-12个碳原子的烷基、苄基、或在烷基中具有1-3个碳原子的烷基苯基;且
其中季铵阳离子的碳原子总数至少为9,且R1和R5中的至少一个具有4个以上的碳原子;且
X-表示卤离子、甲基硫酸根、或具有最高15个碳原子的脂族或芳族有机酸的阴离子。
优选使用其中R3和R4表示甲基且R5表示苄基的这些阳离子表面活性剂。
这种阳离子表面活性剂的例子为月桂基-二甲基-苄基铵盐或2-羟基十二烷基-二甲基-苄基铵盐。在这些盐中,阴离子X-的例子可考虑为卤离子,尤其是氯离子、或能够与季铵离子形成水溶液盐的有机酸的阴离子。这种有机阴离子的例子为乙酸根、丙酸根、乳酸根或苯甲酸根。
例如,从DE-A-4014859中,已知将这种阳离子表面活性剂与非离子表面活性剂一起用于低泡工业清洗剂,然而在该情况下,阳离子表面活性剂与具有烷基或链烯基(具有至少5个,优选6-18个碳原子)的非离子表面活性剂结合使用。与此相比,新颖且意外的是,可以使用二醇醚(a)来替代这些常规的非离子表面活性剂。由于它所具有的烷基仅具有1-4个碳原子,因此它们所表现出来的任何去脂作用都是令人惊奇的。与已有技术的非离子表面活性剂相比,它们具有生态优点,即,被划分为水害等级1。它们与阳离子表面活性剂结合使用,当清洗剂浓缩物在水中的应用浓度为约0.5-约5%重量时,可形成在喷射工艺中低泡的透明应用溶液,且其清洗性能至少可与传统的喷射清洗剂相比。
一般来说,按照本发明的清洗剂浓缩物可在稀释的应用水溶液中用于清洗目的,而不使用其它添加剂。但由于它们大多用于清洗未涂漆的金属表面。因此清洗剂浓缩物优选另外包含阻蚀剂。在浓缩物中,其浓度优选约100-700克/升。如果清洁的裸露金属部件不是直接进一步进行处理,而是例如在潮湿条件下包装或储存,那么这些阻蚀剂可防止其发生腐蚀。
例如,可以使用烷醇胺作为阻蚀剂。优选使用单乙醇胺、单异丙醇胺、三乙醇胺、三异丙醇胺或其混合物。还可由于其突出的腐蚀保护作用而使用二烷醇胺,但目前由于毒性原因(可能形成亚硝胺)而避免使用二烷醇胺。
此外,阻蚀剂可选自具有6-10个碳原子的直链或支链、饱和或不饱和的脂族羧酸和/或具有7-10个碳原子的芳族羧酸。在所谓中性清洗剂的所需常规pH值(约6.5-9)下,羧酸主要作为阴离子存在。作为用以中和这些酸的抗衡离子,可以使用碱金属离子,尤其如钠或钾离子,但优选上述烷醇胺的阳离子。
合适的羧酸的例子为己酸、辛酸、乙基己酸、庚酸、异壬酸和苯甲酸或其衍生物,尤其是3-硝基苯甲酸或4-羟基苯甲酸。
作为其它的辅助或活性物质,清洗剂浓缩物可包含:助洗剂,如碱金属的正磷酸盐、多磷酸盐、硅酸盐、硼酸盐、碳酸盐、聚丙烯酸盐和葡萄糖酸盐。这些助洗剂部分也具有配位性能,因此可用作水软化剂。作为替代或补充可使用更强的配位剂,如1-羟基乙烷-1,1-二膦酸或2-膦酰基丁烷-1,2,4-三羧酸。还可使用乙二胺四乙酸盐或次氨基三乙酸盐,但可能产生与废水处理有关的问题。为了保护清洗剂浓缩物及由其制成的应用溶液不受有机体的影响,可根据需要加入杀生物剂。
以上特征的清洗剂是一种浓缩物,可通过稀释由其制成备用的清洗溶液。一般来说,可通过将各个活性组分溶解在水中达到所需的浓度范围来制备清洗溶液。但在所讨论的工业领域中,制造商通常是供应包含所有活性成分(具有所需的数量比)的浓缩物,用户可简单地通过用水稀释而由其制成备用清洗溶液。在这种情况下,通常调整浓缩物,以使它们可作为约0.5-约5%重量的水溶液来使用,即,在使用时,以约1∶200-1∶20的比率用水稀释。因此,本发明还包括一种备用含水清洗剂,它可通过以约1∶200-1∶20的比率,用水稀释如上所具体描述的根据权利要求1-7中一项或多项的清洗浓缩物而得到。这种含水清洗剂尤其可在喷射设备中用于将金属部件去脂,其中为此将温度设定在约15-80℃,尤其是约15-30℃的范围内。
实施例1
在清洗结果、表面活性剂分离、和发泡性能方面,将按照本发明的应用水溶液和按照已有技术的对比溶液进行比较。为此,首先将各个组分混合制成清洗剂浓缩物。为了进行应用试验,如下所述用水稀释。
试验结果
将由30%三乙醇胺和4%异壬酸、和余量至100%的水组成的基本清洗剂配方与各种“表面活性剂”进行混合,然后进行清洗、表面活性剂分离和发泡试验(给出的所有百分数都是重量百分数)。
表面活性剂:
a)5.0%三亚丙基二醇单甲醚
0.5%的2-羟基十二烷基-二甲基-苄基-苯甲酸铵
b)5.0%的椰子胺+12EO
c)5.0%脂肪醇C12/14+3EO+6PO

分别用冷凝水加至100%。

试验方法的描述
1.清洗试验
使用表面活性剂溶液,手工将St 1405级钢板预清洗,然后用研磨膏(来自实际条件下的原始污染)进行污染。在60℃的热柜中储存2天之后,在60℃下,用2%清洗剂溶液在实验室喷射设备中将其喷射10分钟。目测评价这些表面,然后通过重量分析来确定残余污染。
非常好的清洗作用是指去除了99%以上的污染物,基本上没有清洗作用是指结果低于70%。
2.表面活性剂分离
在1000毫升玻璃烧杯(长形)中,2%清洗剂溶液是在20°dH的水中制成的,以约600rpm的速度,在磁力搅拌器中搅拌5分钟,然后在60℃下,在热柜中储存24小时,没有任何浴运动。评估溶液的外观和液体表面上的分离。
评估标准:
++=没有可辨的分离作用
O=可见的分离作用,溶液明显浑浊
--=明显分离,透明溶液。
3.发泡性能
在硬度对应于20°dH的水中,由配方a-d的浓缩物制备出2%重量的清洗剂溶液。在每种情况下,将10升该溶液在喷射压力为5巴的单喷式喷射器中喷射60分钟,其中温度为约30-45℃。当喷射器工作时,测量泡沫高度,其定义为起始状态的液面上的泡沫的高度。
评估如下:
++=没有泡沫
+=泡沫高度<1.5厘米
O=泡沫高度<4.0厘米
-=泡沫高度<5.5厘米
--=设备自身断开,因为泡沫高度>5.5厘米。
从试验结果可以看出,按照本发明的组合物相对已有体系具有明显的优点。
Claims (11)
1.一种包含二醇醚和阳离子表面活性剂的清洗剂浓缩物,其特征在于,它包含小于0.1%重量的脂肪醇烷氧基化物和/或两性表面活性剂,且它包含:
(a)由以下通式表示的二醇醚:
R-O-(CH2-CH(CH3)O)n-H,
其中R表示具有1-4个碳原子的烷基或苯基;且n为1-5的数;和
(b)阳离子表面活性剂;
(a)与(b)的重量比为8∶1-100∶1。

9.根据权利要求1-8中任何一项所要求的清洗剂浓缩物,其中它还另外包含助洗剂、杀生物剂和/或配位剂。
10.一种含水清洗剂,它可按照1∶200-1∶20的比率,用水稀释根据权利要求1-9中任何一项所要求的清洗剂浓缩物而得到。
11.根据权利要求10的含水清洗剂在喷射设备中将金属部件进行去脂的应用。
