Description
本发明涉及一种用于印刷电路板的连接器组件,它带有第一连接器部分和第二连接器部分,第一连接器部分包括由绝缘材料构成的第一外壳,具有一个底部和两个相对的侧壁,一些阳接触部件安装在外壳的底部上,并且排成行和列,第一连接器部分带有由绝缘材料构成的第二外壳,适合于用一个插入端插入第一外壳,第二外壳的一些阴接触部件安装在外壳中,并且以相应的方式排成行和列。
这种连接器组件例如在EP-A-0446980中已经公开了。在这种已知的连接器组件中,第二连接器部分包括多个外导体,各个外导体大致以圆周方向包围至少一个作为信号触点的阴接触部件,并与第一连接器部分的相应信号触点的邻近的接地触点接触。以这种方式,即使在高比特率的信号传输情况下,也能得到正确的信号传输。此外,在这种已知的连接器组件中还可以为作为信号触点的阳接触部件提供外一些导体。虽然用这种已知的连接器组件也可以实现最佳的高比特率信号传输,但是其结构不太实用,在这种应用场合中,信号触点必须相互以很小的间距隔开。
本发明旨在提供上述类型的连接器组件,其中可以得到最佳的高比特率信号传输,并且信号触点可以相互以小间距隔开,结构简单。
为此,根据本发明的连接器组件的特征在于:在至少一列的每列的阴接触部件的两侧都有一个接地板,其中在第二外壳的插入端的诸接地板沿基本对应于第一外壳底部厚度的一段距离从所述外壳向外突出,并且在第一外壳的底部有一些槽,用于容纳这些接地板。
以这种方式得到了一种连接器组件,其中第二连接器部分具有一些接地板,当在连接器组件的连接位置时,它们作为两个连接器部分中的列接触部件的屏蔽板,通过适当的选择每一列中的信号和接地部件,就可能用这种方式以相对简单的结构实现最佳工作效果。
根据本发明的连接器组件的一个最佳实施例,每一列包括至少两对由接地部件隔开的信号接触部件,其中连续两列接触部件之间的中间距离最好为2mm。以这种方式获得了一种连接器组件,其中每毫米可得到不同的一对信号触点。
以下将参照附图进一步描述本发明,附图中表示了根据本发明的连接器组件的一些实施例。

图1是连接器组件1的局部剖面和局部分解的侧视图,该连接器组件1用于将一个印刷电路板2连接到通常作为基板的印刷电路板3上。在图2中用剖面表示的第一连接器部分4安装在印刷电路板3上。连接器部分4包括一个绝缘材料构成的外壳5,其俯视图如图3所示,外壳分别具有一个底部6和两个相对的侧壁7、8。在底部6中形成有一些开口9,其中固定了一些作为阳接触部件的触针10。这些触针10排成行和列,在所示的实施例中有六列,每列有五个触针10。分别根据剖视图2和俯视图3,每列触针包括四个信号触针,这四个触针由一个中央接地触针分成两对。在所示的实施例中,行方向的触针10之间的距离为2mm,因此每毫米就提供一对信号触点。以这种方式,每对信号触针可以传输一对不同的信号。
如果需要,也可以提供更多的触针10的行和列。另外,触针的各列也可以包括一个信号触针和一个接地触针,或采用其它的信号和接地触针的排列方式,甚至仅包括信号触针。
连接器组件1还包括第二连接器部分11,它包括绝缘材料构成的第二外壳12。该第二外壳12通过插入端13插入第一外壳5。以与诸触针10相同的方式排列的阴接触部件14安装在第二外壳12中,所述诸接触部件以人所共知的方式在图1的插入位置与诸触针10连接。从图1和图2的剖面图可以看得很清楚,触针10和阴接触部件14分别都有部分15和16,它们通过插入,分别固定在印刷电路板3和2的所谓金属化孔中。
第二连接器部分11在每列阴接触部件14两侧包括一个接地板17,所述接地板17沿基本对应于外壳5的底部6厚度的一段距离在插入端13从外壳12向外突出。为了容纳接地板17的这些突出部分,外壳5的底部6有槽18。
这样,对第二连接器部分11的接触件14的每列的屏蔽也构成了对连接器组件1处于连接位置时第一连接器部分4的触针10的列之间的屏蔽。接地板17可以在面向印刷电路板2的边缘处包括适当的接触部件,所述接触部件例如与印刷电路板2表面的接地导体层接触。这些接触部件在图5中用标号17′表示。当然,也可以提供带有插入接触部分的接地板17。
第一连接器部分4包括安装在第一外壳5的侧壁7、8上的诸蔽板19。这些屏蔽板19都有经侧壁7、8中的开口21伸进外壳5的接触弹簧20。此外,屏蔽板19具有接触区22,与印刷电路板3表面的适当的导体接触。在图1所示的实施例中,屏蔽板19还包括一些接触弹簧23,在连接器组件1处于连接位置时,这些接触弹簧23伸进外壳5的诸槽18,并与接地板17接触。侧壁8上的屏蔽板19的那些接触弹簧20与诸接地板17的边缘接触。
连接器部分11还包括一个主要是L形的屏蔽板24,其中短的一段沿外壳12的后侧延伸,长的一段沿外壳12的上侧延伸。屏蔽板24短的一段包括一些接触部分25,其插入印刷电路板2的诸开口中,并与印刷电路板2的相应导体接触。在图1所示的插入位置,侧壁7的屏蔽板19的诸接触弹簧20与屏蔽板24接触。可以为接地板17和/或屏蔽板24提供适当的接触装置,以确保屏蔽板24和接地板17之间的良好连接。作为另外一种方式,除了屏蔽板24与每块接地板17的延伸部分26之间的接触之外,接地板17和屏蔽板24不能相互接触。如图1所示,这些延伸部分26从外壳12的后侧突出,并穿过屏蔽板24的短段中的槽,这在图1中是看不到的,在那里延伸部分26与屏蔽板24接触。
从图2和3可以清楚地看到,槽18之间的底部6的诸部分27相互由一个筋28连接,以加强底部6的强度。
图4表示基本以与图1所示的连接器组件1相同的方式制成的连接器组件29,相应的部分标以相同的标号。在图1所示的连接器组件1中,外壳5侧壁8上屏蔽板19的那些接触弹簧20与诸接地板17的那些边缘接触,为了得到长时间的良好的工作性能,需要特殊加工接地板17的这些边缘。在连接器组件29中,借助于带有弧形接触装置31的一个连接板30,避免了接地板17的边缘与接触弹簧20之间的接触,所述连接板30固定在连接器部分11的下侧。当连接器组件29处于连接位置时,这些弧形接触装置31与屏蔽板19的诸接触弹簧20接触。处于其安装在印刷电路板2上这一位置的连接板30,与印刷电路板2的相应的导体连接,并且还与诸接地板17连接。
连接器组件29的连接器部分11示于轴测图5中,其中所示的屏蔽板24和连接板30是与外壳12分开的。图5所示的连接板30具有一些接触部件32,以确保与印刷电路板2表面上的一个导体有良好的连接。此外,连接板30包括一些开口33,用来借助一些凸块34在外壳12上固定连接板,图5中只能见到一个凸块34。
从图5中还可以看到,屏蔽板24具有一些槽35,用于容纳在外壳12后侧部分中的诸接地板17的延伸部分26。在每个槽35的两侧,有与延伸部分26相啮合的接触凸端36。
在外壳12的上侧有两个定位阳块37,它们与第一连接器部分4外壳5的侧壁7中的诸槽38的共同配合,因此连接器部分11仅可以在一个位置插入连接器部分4。屏蔽板24具有两个槽39,在其中容纳诸凸块37。形成一些唇状物40,用于啮合在凸块37的突出部分下,以便将屏蔽板24固定在外壳12上。
应注意的是,在注模期间接地板17是安装在外壳12中的。接地板17被支撑在制造外壳12的模中,并带有充满外壳12的绝缘材料的开口41、42,从而在外壳12中牢固地固定了接地板17。
如图3和5所示,诸外槽18和接地板17分别具有一定的宽度和行方向,该宽度是其余槽18和接地板17相应尺寸的一半。以这种方式可以一个接一个地分别放置多个连接器部分4和11,其中当两个连接部分并列放置时,接续的触针10的列之间的距离与接触部件14的列之间的距离也得到保持。
图6表示基本以与连接器部分4相同的方式制成的第一连接器部分43,其中相应的部分标以相同的标号。在这种情况下,诸屏蔽板19还提供有接触舌状物44,通过焊接或其它适当的连接技术,这些接触舌状物44与印刷电路板3的一个导体连接。
在根据本发明的如图1至6所示的连接器组件的实施例中,诸接地板17与屏蔽板19、24相连。对某些应用来说,可以不需要连接屏蔽板和接地板。图7表示一个连接器组件45,其中在屏蔽板和诸接地板之间形成了一段间隔。其余部分本实施例与上述实施例相同,其中相应的部分标以相同的标号。图8是表示连接器组件45的第一连接器部分4的剖面图。
在这种情况下,第一连接器部分4在底部6的每个槽18中都有接触弹簧部件46,借助一个触针47,所述接触弹簧部件46与印刷电路板3的一个接地导体相连。触针47对准接地触针10的行。在插入位置,这些接触弹簧46与诸接地板48接触,这些接地板48基本以与接地板17相同的方式制成。同样,在这种情况下,当连接器组件45处于连接位置时,这些接地板48在外壳12的插入端13从外壳向外突出,并且外壳5的底部6的诸槽18容纳这些接地板48。然而,接地板48比接地板17短些,因此它们不与第二连接器部分11的屏蔽板24接触。此外,在这种情况下,第一连接器部分4的这些屏蔽板19当然没有接触弹簧23。屏蔽板19具有接触舌状物49,它们与印刷电路板3的屏蔽导体连接。当然,这时第二连接器部分11的连接板30不与接地板48接触。

在图9所示的实施例中,接地单元51与屏蔽板19是一个整体,因此当采用连接器部分50时,在接地板17和屏蔽板19、24之间就形成了连接。如果需要将屏蔽和接地分开,就可以使接地单元51与屏蔽板19保持分离,这时接地单元51上形成有一个或多个适当的接地装置。
采用接地单元51有其优越性,在由安装系统的公差引起的有限的拆卸位置上,连接器组件和相应的印刷电路板是安装在该系统中的,从而保证了触针10的列之间的最佳接地屏蔽。此外,利用与接地板17的表面结合的接触弹簧54,保证了接地单元51和接地板17之间的长期良好连接。
应注意的是,为了说明起见图9中只画出了一个触针10。然而很清楚,外壳5的底部6中的所有开口9都有触针10。
虽然上述实施例中,在每列阴接触部件的每侧都提供了接地板,但是也可以在每两块接地板之间提供一列以上的接触部件。图10以立体图的形式简略地表示与中央印刷电路板或基板3相连的多块印刷电路板2。印刷电路板3一侧的一些印刷电路板2垂直于印刷电路板3另一侧的一些印刷电路板2。为了连接印刷电路板2、3的各种导体,采用了连接器组件57,这些连接器组件57的制造方式基本与上述连接器组件类似。在图11至14中,更详细地表示了连接器组件57的两个连接器部分,在图15至18中,表示了连接器组件57的另一实施例的两个连接器部分。
连接器组件57包括一个图11所示的第一连接器部分58和一个图13、14所示的第二连接器部分59。第一连接器部分58包括外壳60,其中提供有分成四组、每组有四个的触针10。通过外壳60的底部6上的基本上为十字形的槽61,触针10的组被相互分开。如同上述实施例,触针10实际上也排成行和列,在这种情况下,没有中央行和中央列,在该位置代之有十字形槽61。槽61将外壳60的底部6分成四个象限,在本实施例中每个象限包括四个触针10。也可以具有不同数量的行和列,使得每个象限包括不同数目的触针10。
在这种情况下,外壳60的侧壁7、8通过另外的侧壁62、63相互连接,因此获得用于四周封闭的第二连接器部分59的接收空间。每个侧壁7、8、62、63都有屏蔽板19,它们的接触弹簧20经开口伸进外壳60。如图12所示,在连接器部分58的这一实施例中,屏蔽板19是接地单元64的一部分,其中接地单元64包括带有接触弹簧54的接地板65。在图11中,只能看到槽61中的两个接触弹簧54。很清楚,如同接地板52那样,接地板65被容纳在与槽61相邻的阴口中。
第二连接器部分59包括一个外壳66,其中安装了一个接地板单元67,它具有十字形截面。以与上述接触组件相同的方式,接地板单元67在外壳66的插入端13处从外壳突出出来,在连接位置,该突出部分被容纳于第一连接器部分58的外壳60的槽61中。在其上侧、后侧和两个侧壁,外壳被屏蔽板68所包围,在插入位置上屏蔽板68与屏蔽板19诸的接触弹簧20接触。在位于外壳66的后侧的屏蔽板68部分有一个槽,其中容纳了接地板单元67的延伸部分26,并且通过接触舌状物70,而将后者保持在槽中。在外壳66的下侧,以与图4的连接器组件相同的方式安装了一个带有弧形接触装置31的连接板30。在图13和14中看不到接触装置31。
在图13、14中未示出的每组四个触针10和每组四个阴接触部件包括相互成对角线排列的适合于不同信号的两个触针/接触部件。连接器组件57还包括一个基本与一个第一连接器部分58的外壳60对应的第三外壳71。在印刷电路板2上安装第一连接器部分58之后,外壳71的底部安装在第一连接器部分58的触针10上。这一外壳71以其相应的部件在印刷电路板2的相反侧形成了第一连接器部分,其中以与连接器部分58相同的方式,第二连接器部分59可以被插入这一连接器部分。
应注意的是,根据图13、14第二连接器部分59的接地板单元67由两块平板72、73构成,每块平板有一个槽74,图14中只能看见其中的一个。板72、73借助于它们的槽74相对滑动于其中,而得到接地板单元67。板72的延伸部分26被槽74分成两半。
在图15至18中,表出第一连接器部分75和第二连接器部分76,它们在一起形成对应于连接器组件57的连接器组件。连接器部分75、76基本与连接器部分58、59相对应,其中相应的部分标以相同的标号。
在这种情况下连接器部分75包括一个没有侧壁62、63的外壳。为了在外壳60的底部6的各个边缘处得到良好的屏蔽,接地单元64还包括一些接地板65,接地板65在这些边缘处带有接触弹簧54,正如从图16中可以具体地到的那样。此外,第二连接器部分76的屏蔽板68的侧壁部分这时包括包围外壳60的开放侧的延伸部分77。以与连接器部分59相同的方式,接地板单元67从外壳66的插入端13突出出来。在这种情况下,接地板单元67由两块相同的接地板78构成,每一块板弯曲90°。每块接地板78具有一个延伸部分79,它们在后侧穿过屏蔽板68的槽向外突出,并且通过相应的接触舌状物70而保持在槽中。
图17和18表示带有弧形接触装置31的连接板30。
应注意的是,在图10至18的连接器组件的实施例中,接地单元64与屏蔽板19、68接触。然而,在这种情况下恰似以前所描述过的实施例那样,可以将接地和屏蔽分开。为此,不将屏蔽板19作成接地单元64的一部分。
应注意的是,每个触针10都有一个在触针两侧突出的台80,其上表面可以在图9中看到。由于在所述接触组件中触针10的间隔仅为2mm,并且槽18和61分别形成在触针的列之间,所以不可能像至今的常规那样将带有台的触针10对准行方向。在所述连接器组件中,台80指向列方向,如图3、9、11和15所示。从而触针部分82的接触面81伸进外壳,它们在常规的触针中平行于台80延伸,接触面81也将沿列方向延伸。在应用通常的阴接触部件时,这些阴接触部件不再与触针10的接触面81结合。在根据本发明的连接器组件中,触针因此用于第一连接器部分中,该部分具有相互于其余触针部分扭曲90°的触针部分82。以这种方式得到了一些沿行方向延伸的接触面81,因此它们能正确地与阴接触部件接触。这些具有扭曲的触针部分82的触针10用于根据图10至18的连接器组件也有其优越性。由此做到使触针10的诸接触面在印刷电路板2的两侧以正确的方向延伸。
在同一天申请的专利申请中描述了制造具有扭曲触针部分的触针的适用方法。
虽然以上结合用于印刷电路板的连接器组件的应用对本发明进行了描述,但是本发明还可以用于其它类型的连接器组件,例如电缆连接器等。
本发明不限于上述实施例,在权利要求书的范围内本发明可做各种变化。
Claims (13)
1、一种连接器组件,包括一个第一连接器部分,第一连接器部分包括一个由绝缘材料构成的第一外壳,具有一个底部和两个相对的侧壁,一些阳接触部件安装在该外壳的底部上,并且排成行和列,以及
一个第二连接器部分,第二连接器部分包括一个由绝缘材料构成的第二外壳,其适合于以一个插入端插入所述第一外壳,所述第二外壳的一些阴接触部件安装在外壳中,并且以相应的方式排成行和列,其特征在于:
在至少一列的每列阴接触件的两侧都有一个接地板,其中在第二外壳的插入端的接地板沿基本对应于第一外壳底部厚度的一段距离从所述外壳向外突出,并且
在第一外壳的底部有一些槽,用于容纳这些接地板。
2、根据权利要求1所述的连接器组件,其特征在于每一列至少包括两对由一个接地部件隔开的信号接触部件,其中连续两列接触部件之间的中间距离最好为2mm。
3、根据权利要求1或2所述的连接器组件,适用于印刷电路板,其特征在于每个接地板具有在第二外壳的下侧突出的接触装置,以便连接到相应印刷电路板的一个相应导体上。
4、根据权利要求1、2或3所述的连接器组件,适用于印刷电路板,其特征在于第一外壳包括形成在侧壁上的一些屏蔽板,所述屏蔽板具有用于连接到相应印刷电路板的一个相应导体上的接触装置,以及经所述侧壁中的开口伸进所述外壳的接触弹簧装置。
5、根据权利要求4所述的连接器组件,其特征在于第二外壳包括一个沿外壳的上侧和插入端相对的外壳的后侧延伸的屏蔽板,所述屏蔽板具有用于连接到相应印刷电路板的一个相应导体上的接触装置,当组件连接时,所述屏蔽板与第一外壳相应的屏蔽板的那些接触弹簧装置接触。
6、根据权利要求5所述的连接器组件,其特征在于当组件连接时,第一外壳的另一屏蔽板的那些接触弹簧装置与第二外壳的一个或多个接地板接触。
7、根据权利要求5所述的连接器组件,其特征在于第二外壳具有一个在下侧带有弧形接触装置的连接板,所述连接板可以与相应的印刷电路板的一个屏蔽导体相连,其中当组件连接时,所述弧形接触装置与第一外壳的邻近屏蔽板的接触弹簧装置接触。
8、根据权利要求4至7中任何一项的连接器组件,其特征在于第一外壳的每个屏蔽板都包括一些接触簧片,每个所述接触簧片伸进外壳底部的槽中,以便与第二外壳的一个接地板接触。
9、根据权利要求5至8中任何一项的连接器组件,其特征在于第二外壳的接地板和屏蔽板是电相互连接的。
10、根据权利要求9所述的连接器组件,其特征在于每个接地板都有一个在第二外壳的后侧突出的延伸部分,并且第二外壳的屏蔽板具有容纳接地板的这些延伸部分的一些槽。
11、根据权利要求5至10中任何一项的连接器组件,其特征在于第二外壳在其上侧包括至少一个定位凸块,它适用于与第一外壳的一个侧壁中的一个相应槽配合,其中第二外壳的屏蔽板对每个定位凸块来说有一个槽,并且提供了将屏蔽板固定在定位凸块上的装置。
12、根据权利要求4至11中任何一项的连接器组件,其特征在于第一外壳的每个屏蔽板包括至少一个接触区和/或至少一个接触舌状物,接触区用于接触外壳底部下的印刷电路板的表面导体,接触舌状物用于与靠近外壳底部的印刷电路板的表面导体相连。
13、根据上述任何一项权利要求的连接器组件,其特征在于第一外壳的诸底部部分最好在中央互连。
