Description
例えば、特許文献1には、モジュールを覆う金属カバーに設けた弾性フィンガが、光コネクタが挿入された状態のときに、金属カバーの外方に突き出されてケージ内面に電気的に接触されてEMIシールドを形成し、光コネクタが挿入されていないときは、弾性フィンガは、ケージと無接触となってモジュールの着脱を容易にすることが開示されている。
この構成例は、図3のケージフィンガ19間の細幅の壁部16bを除去した形状、すなわち、複数のケージフィンガ19の一方の端部がケージ16の先端側に固定され、他方の端部(ケージ奥部側)がフリーの櫛歯状とされ、図4(C)に示すように、ケージフィンガ19間の隙間からモジュールフィンガ14が外方に張り出すようにしたものである。
Claims (2)
- 光コネクタが接続されるレセプタクルを有し、本体部が導電性金属からなる筐体で覆われたプラガブル光送受信モジュールを、ホスト装置のケージ内に装着する実装装置であって、
前記ケージは、前記ホスト装置のフロントパネル開口部に電気的に接触する第1の弾性接触部と、前記プラガブル光送受信モジュールの筐体に電気的に接触する第2の弾性接触部とからなる複数のケージフィンガを有し、前記第1の弾性接触部と前記第2の弾性接触部は、1つのフィンガとして連続して形成されており、
前記複数のケージフィンガ間の壁面が打ち抜かれて櫛歯状とされ、前記プラガブル光送受信モジュールの筐体に形成した複数のモジュールフィンガが、前記ケージフィンガ間の打ち抜かれた間隙部分から突出して、前記フロントパネル開口部に直接接触していることを特徴とするプラガブル光送受信モジュール実装装置。 - 前記複数のケージフィンガと前記複数のモジュールフィンガは、自由端側が狭幅となるテーパ状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラガブル光送受信モジュールの実装装置。
