Abstract

Description

密封条
本发明涉及一种纵向伸展的密封条,它在开口周围和开口的封口件之间形成密封,该密封条包括一个用以将该密封条相对于开口周围定位安装的纵向伸展安装部,和一个装在该安装部上的纵向伸展密封部,该安装部在相应于开口周围的弯曲或弧线部的一个或几个位置上被局部纵向压缩。本发明还涉及制造一种纵向伸展密封条的方法,该密封条在开口周围和开口的封口件之间形成密封,该密封条包括一个用以将该密封条相对于开口周围定位安装的纵向伸展安装部,和一个安装在该安装部上的纵向伸展密封部,该方法包括在相应于开口周围的弯曲或弧线部的一个或几个位置上对该安装部进行局部纵向压缩的步骤。
这种密封条和这种方法从US-A-50 29 381中获知。其中,用机械手将密封条安置在构成开口周围的凸缘上,机械手将安装部保持在密封部上,并沿开口周围移动。将密封条压入凸缘上的适当位置。机械手包括一个与密封条接合的滚轮,该滚轮的转速相对于沿开口周围的机械手的线速度可提高,以对开口周围的弯曲或弧部处的密封条产生纵向压缩。然而,尽管这种纵向压缩有利地减轻了密封部在弯曲或拐角处“弯扭”的倾向,然而,按照该已知的方法,这只能利用机械手和变速滚轮来达到。可是,密封条通常是用手工安装或除这种机械手或变速滚轮以外的其它手段安装置的。在此情况下,该发明旨在减轻“弯扭”。

按照本发明,也提出一种制造纵向伸展密封条的方法,该密封条在开口周围和开口的封口件之间形成密封,该密封条包括一个用以将该密封条相对于开口周围定位安装的纵向伸展安装部,和一个装在安装部上的纵向伸展密封部,该方法包括在相应于开口周围的弯曲或弧线部的一个或几个位置上对该安装部进行局部纵向压缩的步骤,该压缩的步骤包括同时局部纵向压缩包含在安装部内的弹性加强装置的步骤,其特征在于,该局部纵向压缩步骤是在密封条被定位安装之前完成的,并局部纵向压缩仅在所述一个或几个位置上并仅当所述密封条为直线时进行的。。
由于局部纵向压缩发生在密封条被安装就位之前,能在密封条制造工程中进行,因此,实现压缩的装置仅需设在进行制造的场所,而不是在密封条进行实际安装的各个位置。由于安装部包含用安装装置被局部纵向压缩的弹性加强装置,该安装部的压缩状态被保留到压缩发生之后。
安装部和弹性加强件的局部压缩具有使密封条的弯曲中性轴线向弯曲或弧线部内侧偏移的效应,从而减小了密封部起皱折的倾向并有助于使密封部相对安装部保持在正确的位置。
现在参考简要附图,仅通过实例说明体现本发明的密封条和按本发明制造密封条的方法。附图中:
图1为一辆汽车车身的透视图,它的一个车门已被卸去,以便显示可安装一条密封条的部位;
图2为一条安装就位的密封件的横断面;
图3为可用于图2密封条的一加强骨架的透视图;和
图4为表示一条围绕车门门框安装的连续环状密封条的侧视图。
如图1所示,汽车5已将驾驶员的门卸去以显示安装在围绕车门门框上的密封条6。
图2更详细地表示密封条6。它包括两部分:一个夹紧或安装部8和一个密封部10。该夹紧部8的横断面为沟缝状并紧紧地夹住形成车门门框的安装凸缘12。该凸缘12由内外车身壁板14,16在车门开口处汇合,并例如点焊在一起而形成。夹紧部8由挤压塑料或橡胶材料18构成,其中埋入由金属等弹性材料制的加强骨芯或骨架20。可取的一种形式的骨架20示于图3。如图所示,它可由被整体车22连接起来的一些(颠倒的)U-形件21形成。代之以,这些U-形件21可完全被分离。在另一实例中,骨架可由来回环绕的线制成。也可彩其它形式的骨架。骨架并非必要由金属制成。骨架可用横梁式挤压机埋入挤压材料18中。
挤压材料18具有位于沟缝相对内侧面上的整体夹紧唇23,24。如图2所示,这些夹紧唇与凸缘12的两个相反外侧面相接触。这些夹紧唇伴随由弹性骨架20给与安装夹紧部8的弹性确保夹紧部8牢固地包围住凸缘。如果夹紧唇23,24由比其余的材料18更软的材料挤压而成,这对增加夹紧唇对凸缘的摩擦夹紧作用是有利的。此外,又如图2所示,形成凸缘12的一个车身板14可形成向外的曲面26,它有助于使夹紧部8固定就住。
在此实例中,夹紧部8延伸形成所谓的“装饰”唇28,在使用中它包住车身内部装饰衬板30的边缘,以便看不见边缘并有助于使装饰板固定就位。
密封部10为纵向管状,并被固定于安装部8的一条沟缝侧壁的外侧。密封部10可由挤压的软橡胶或塑料制成,或由热塑合成橡胶制成。如果它由泡沫结构的材料制成,将更有利于增加其柔软性。在图2所示的形式中,它被挤压成双管状。然而,也可采用其它形式。密封部10可单独挤压而成,然后用胶结剂固定剂沟缝侧壁外部。可是,也可代之以由材料18整体挤压而成。
夹紧部8的外部可用纺织品32复盖以达装饰目的。
使用中,夹紧部8使密封条装在车门周围,因此将密封部10面向车门开口外,并部分地受关闭的车门的压缩,从而产生防风雨的密封作用。
最好,密封条6在制成后围成图4所示的连续的环形,与车门开口的形状和尺寸相匹配,并配有与车门开口曲线相匹配的预成形弧线部A,B,C,D和E;而且,密封条有足够的柔性可使它在车门周围就位。
按照本发明的特征,密封条在其长度4的数小段被纵向压缩,这数小段相应于形成弧线部A,B,C,D和E(图4)的位置,此纵向压缩是当密封条还是直线形的时候进行的。如图4所示,附弧线部A,密封条在区域F(弯曲前)内受纵向压缩。此压缩可由使密封条通过一套相互间隔的两个滚筒而实现,可控制这两个滚筒以不同的转速运行。当密封条纵向通过这对滚筒时,通常这对滚筒被控制为以相同速度运行。从而对密封条不起作用,但为对密封条长度的相关部分进行纵向压缩,故当密封条通过滚筒时则控制它们暂时以不同速度运行。
局部压缩的效果保证密封部10(图2)在弧线部保持其正确的位置。图2用虚线表示如果密封条在这一曲线部不被纵向压缩,密封部10在图4连续环中曲线部,密封部10相对夹紧部8所倾向的位置。这样,当密封条顺着希望的曲线弯曲时,在安装部8的沟缝侧壁中的张力使密封部10倾向于呈现图2所示的虚线位置。然而如果在弧线区域,对密封条尤其对它的骨架进行局部的纵向压缩,则将发现密封部10的位置在弧线部没有明显的改变,并使它保持在图2的实线位置。更具体地说,密封条的局部压缩使骨架20纵向受压缩,从而使元件21(见图3)之间的空隙部分地闭合,尤其沿颠倒的沟缝底部更为闭合。这便具有使密封条的弯曲中性轴线移向更接近于颠倒的沟缝底部平面的效应。换言之,当密封条顺弧线部A,B,C,D和E(图4)弯曲时,因为安装部的沟缝开口位于各弧线的外侧,故密封条的弯曲中性轴线(在弧线部,密封条材料既不受压缩又不受拉伸的一条线)位于更接近弧线部内侧,结果便可使密封部10保持在正确位置,并可减小它在弧线部产生皱折或摺皱的任何倾向。
业已了解,在密封条需要急剧的弯曲往往会使密封部产生明显变形的部位,要切去一段密封部,并生产一个与锐角相匹配的模压插入件。然而,已发现用上述方法对密封条进行局部压缩即可不需要这种模压插入件,即可简单地通过弯曲密封条而产生急剧的弯曲。
密封条并非必须形成为闭合环(如图4所示)。它可形成为一开口环或保持直线形。可是,在后者的情况,必须将这些位置沿已发生局部压缩的密封条设定。

Claims (15)

1.一种纵向伸展的密封条(6),它在开口周围(12)和开口的封口件之间形成密封,该密封条包括一个用以将该密封条(6)相对于开口周围(12)定位安装的纵向伸展安装部(8),和一个装在安装部(8)上的纵向伸展密封部(10),该安装部(8)在相应于开口周围(12)的弯曲或弧线部的一个或几个位置(A、B、C、D、E)上被局部纵向压缩,安装部(8)包含由安装部(8)局部纵向压缩的弹性加强装置(20),其特征在于,该局部纵向压缩是在密封条(6)被相对周围定位安装之前进行的,并局部纵向压缩仅在所述一个或几个位置(A、B、C、D、E)上并当所述密封条为直线时进行的。
2.按权利要求1所述的密封条,其特征在于,局部纵向压缩使中性弯曲轴线向相应于弯曲或弧线部内侧的部位偏移。
3.按权利要求1或2所述的密封条,其特征在于,安装部(8)呈沟缝状,用以夹紧形成开口周围的凸缘(12)或类似结构件。
4.按权利要求3所述的密封条,其特征在于,加强件是沟缝状金属骨架(20)。
5.按权利要求4所述的密封条,其特征在于,弹性加强件(20)至少,在其沟缝底部开有一些槽,这些槽由于纵向压缩而至少部分地闭合。
6.按上述任何一项权利要求所述的密封条,其特征在于,密封部为空心管状(10)。
7.按权利要求3至5中任一项的密封条,其特征在于,密封部为空心管状(10),并装在安装部(8)沟缝的一外侧壁上。
8.按上述任何一项权利要求所述的密封条,其特征在于,按装部(8)由挤压塑料或橡胶材料构成。

10.按上述任何一项权利要求所述的密封条,其特征在于,密封条被制成与开口的形状和尺寸相匹配且具有相应每个所述一个或几个位置(A、B、C、D、E)的多处弯曲或弧线部的闭合环路。
