密封条
本发明涉及一种密封条,它包括一个纵向伸展的密封部分,该密封部分限定一个纵向空腔,在使用中该空腔部分地受到压缩,以起密封作用。空腔中横贯一道内壁。
这种密封条从GB-A-2 115 043中获知。内壁有助于防止密封条的中空内部在弯曲时局部地凹陷。可是,越来越多地要求采用较软材料制造此种密封条。采用此种较软的材料加剧了此种局部凹陷的问题。本发明的目的便在于解决此问题。
因此,按照本发明,提出一种密封条,包括一个纵向伸展的密封部,密封部包括一个由柔性材料制成并限定和完全围绕一个封闭空心管状内部空间的外壁,该外壁部分地受压缩以起密封作用,该内部空间具有由柔性材料制成的内壁,该外壁完全横越该中空内部伸展以使中空内部空间分成两个独立封闭的内部空腔,其特征在于,内壁以埋入一种增强材料而增强,该增强材料沿密封条的纵向是可压缩的,但沿内壁面垂直方向则是刚性的,以及在密封条在空心内部空间的纵向方向出现弯曲时,阻止空心内部空间的局部凹陷。
本发明也在于:内壁位于弯曲出现的面的同一总方向伸展的面中;增强材料为环形金属线;增强材料为一金属片;密封部用至少两种不同的柔性材料制成;两种材料分别构成并排纵向平行伸展的空腔,两种材料互相接触,从而使空腔共同构成内部空间,而接触的材料则构成内壁;两种材料的上面具有由第三种材料构成的薄薄的外层;密封条由在纵向伸展的安装部支承,安装部用于沿欲被密封的开口的周围安装密封部;密封条由在纵向伸展的安装部支承,安装部用于沿欲被密封的开口的周围安装密封部,该安装部由与所述两种材料之一成为整体的材料构成;安装部呈沟缝状。
现在参照简要附图仅通过实例说明体现本发明的用于在汽车车体上起密封作用的密封条。附图中:

图2为一条密封条取横断面的透视图;
图3为可应用于图2密封条中的增强件透视图。
图1表示一汽车的车身5,它的一个车门已被卸去,以便显示绕车门开口周围安装的一条密封条6。在使用中,关闭的车门在密封条6上闭合,从而产生防风雨的密封作用。
图2表示密封条6的一种形式,它包括一个密封部8的一个夹紧或安装部10。夹紧部10呈纵向沟缝12的形状。使用中,该沟缝将车门开口的周围紧紧包围。更确切地说,车门开口的边缘在一般情况下是内、外车身壁板焊在一起时形成的凸边。
如图2所示,夹紧部分10包含一个用弹性金属或其他材料制成的增强芯骨或骨架14,它被埋入类如橡胶或塑料的柔性材料16中。举例说,骨架14可用靠在一起的金属(倒)U形零件构成以便形成沟缝12,并用整体短接头连接起来或互相分离。当然,采用其他形式的骨架也是可能的。骨架可以用来回围绕的金属线制成。骨架14可采用横梁式挤压机被埋入材料16中。骨架并非必须用金属制造。在材料16中亦可埋入柔性的但基本上不会伸长的带。
材料16成形时,形成位于沟缝12相对内面壁上的整体夹紧唇18。这些夹紧唇和凸边的相反两面接触,从而增加夹紧部10的摩擦夹紧作用。如果夹紧唇18的材料比其余的挤压材料16更软,这对增加夹紧唇对凸边的摩擦夹紧作用是有利的。
如图2所示,材料16成形时,形成所谓的“装饰唇”20,该装饰唇用于罩住和有助于夹紧车身内部装饰衬板等类似物体的边缘。
夹紧部10的上面可以用纺织品复盖。
密封部8一般呈空心管状,且能和材料16共同挤压成形。在本例中,挤压材料16被延伸,形成一个第一管形部件,该部件具有三角形断面的中空内部22,然后将更软的材料16A和材料16共同挤压形成一大致呈半圆状的中空内部24。密封部8的中空内部于是便由中空内部22和24构成,此两个中空内部被在材料16和16A汇合处形成的壁28隔开。
材料16A可为软的敞开泡沫材料,上面复盖一层可为封闭泡沫材料的共同挤压层26。
但是,并非必须将密封部8和夹紧部10的材料16共同挤压。代之以,密封部8可通过挤压用各种合适的材料分开制成,然后用胶结剂固定到夹紧部分10上。
为了装饰目的,包复材料26可以染成彩色。
使用中,夹紧部10将密封条装在车门周围,从而使密封部8围绕车门开口在车身的外边伸展。这样,关闭的车门部分地压缩密封部10,从而产生防风雨的密封作用。当按此方式安装时,沟缝12的缝口当然背对车门开口的中心。
为了产生良好的密封作用,希望材料16A非常软,同时带有柔性。在此情况下,即使法兰上有不连续的部位或其厚度有变化,仍能产生有效的密封作用。软材料由于呈泡沫状,所以重量较轻,因而也是有利的。但是,密封条6必须顺着车门周围的曲线或拐角弯曲。当如此弯曲时,沟缝12的缝口位于曲线或拐角的外侧,且顺着曲线或拐角纵向弯曲。因此,密封部8便有在曲线或拐角上形成摺皱的倾向。这种弯曲于是使空心密封部8的纵轴线沿同一方向产生同样的弯曲。密封部8愈软,则此种摺皱的倾向愈大。
因此,根据密封条的一个特点,将增强件30埋入壁28中。增强件30可包含一段长度的大致呈锯齿形的环形线。代之以,可以是图3所示的薄金属片。也可能是其他形式的增强件。增强件30可以在挤压过程中通过共同挤压而装入壁28中。图3中的金属片被设计成沿箭头B方向较易压缩,但在图中的平面垂直的方向则刚性较大。如果将金属线用作增强件30,也可作同样的安排。
已经发现,装入增强件30大大提高了密封部8沿箭头D方向的刚性,同时却不降低沿箭头E方向的有效柔性。沿箭头D方向的刚性增加将降低或实际上消除了密封部8在安装法兰弯曲外或弧线上形成摺皱或“过桥”的倾向。因此,在此情况下,由于此种非常软的材料在弯曲处或拐角上的摺皱或“过桥的增强”倾向已被装入的增强件30基本上消除,所以密封部8有可能用比迄今为止软得多的材料制造。

Claims (10)

1.一种密封条,包括一个纵向伸展的密封部(8),密封部包括一个由柔性材料(16)制成并限定和完全围绕一个封闭空心管状内部空间的外壁,该外壁部分地受压缩以起密封作用,该内部空间具有由柔性材料(16)制成的内壁(28),该外壁完全横越该中空内部伸展以使中空内部空间分成两个独立封闭的内部空腔(22,24),其特征在于,内壁(28)以埋入一种增强材料(30)而增强,该增强材料沿密封条的纵向是可压缩的,但沿内壁面垂直方向则是刚性的,以及在密封条在空心内部空间的纵向方向出现弯曲时,阻止空心内部空间的局部凹陷。
2.如权利要求1所述的密封条,其特征在于,内壁(28)位于弯曲出现的面的同一总方向伸展的面中。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的密封条,其特征在于,增强材料为环形金属线。

5.如权利要求1或2所述的密封条,其特征在于,密封部(8)用至少两种不同的柔性材料(16,16a)制成。
6.如权利要求5所述的密封条,其特征在于,两种材料分别构成并排纵向平行伸展的空腔,两种材料互相接触,从而使空腔共同构成内部空间,而接触的材料则构成内壁(28)。
7.如权利要求6所述的密封条,其特征在于,两种材料的上面具有由第三种材料(26)构成的薄薄的外层。
8.如权利要求1或2所述的密封条,其特征在于,密封条(8)由在纵向伸展的安装部(10)支承,安装部用于沿欲被密封的开口的周围安装密封部(8)。
9.如权利要求5所述的密封条,其特征在于,密封条(8)由在纵向伸展的安装部(10)支承,安装部用于沿欲被密封的开口的周围安装密封部(8),该安装部(10)由与所述两种材料之一成为整体的材料(16)构成。
10.如权利要求8所述的密封条,其特征在于,安装部(10)呈沟缝状。
