Abstract

技术领域
本发明是针对具有与其构造、运输和清洁相关的改善式特征的泡沫床垫。
背景技术
尽管传统弹簧床垫是美国销售的主要床垫类型,但乳胶泡沫床垫和粘弹性(记忆)泡沫床垫两者皆已在美国作为特殊类型床垫来销售。
乳胶和记忆泡沫两者皆在床垫构造和设计上具有益处和缺点。乳胶泡沫具有极快速的复原速率(即,“有弹性”)、高度可透气且可使用自然或合成材料产生。如果使用天然材料,可由此出售床垫,从而在市场中添加其合意性。然而,乳胶泡沫床垫在美国销售的任何类型床垫中具有最高平均返修率,这通常是归因于用户在乳胶泡沫床垫上感觉到的共振“反弹”和/或不充分减压。
记忆泡沫床垫市场由Tempur-Pedic通过新颖的营销技巧而几乎凭借一己之力而建成,例如与空间-年龄技术以及在拿开手之后“卡”在泡沫顶层中的手纹的图像相关联。归因于其缓慢复原(或记忆),粘弹性记忆泡沫作为减压的辅助而出售,且实现一个睡眠者与另一睡眠者的隔离,因为泡沫不转换振动。但记忆泡沫床垫还具有稍微高的返修率,通常归因于以下抱怨,例如:1)“被卡住”(即,在改变睡眠位置时不能够转身);2)过热(泡沫并非高度可透气,且轮廓使得泡沫紧密包裹身体的大部分,从而限制空气流动);及3)在性爱期间不利于舒适性,因为往往“被卡住”。
另外,乳胶和记忆泡沫两者皆为昂贵材料。制造商通常仅将其用于床垫的顶层,通常称为舒适层。舒适层通常为1到5"厚,且通常由层压在一起的1到3种不同泡沫类型组成。在这些层下方,通常使用规则聚氨酯泡沫来提供一些支撑且增大床垫厚度。一些较新的“混合”床垫使用经包裹的弹簧线圈替代聚氨酯泡沫。为对抗记忆泡沫的“卡住”感觉,一些制造商已开发快速响应性记忆泡沫。其它制造商使用较薄的记忆泡沫层(在聚乙烯泡沫顶上)来限制用户可沉陷于泡沫中的深度。少数制造商已将乳胶泡沫安放在记忆泡沫下方以得益于乳胶泡沫提供的快速返回(即,反弹)。但这一解决方案可能并不能解决上文提到的记忆泡沫为床垫顶层时的问题。
因此,需要一种新颖的泡沫床垫构造,其耦合记忆泡沫的轮廓减压与乳胶泡沫的快速复原,从而防止用户“卡”在记忆泡沫中且改善床垫的弹性。此类布置将得益于乳胶泡沫的透气性和反弹性,同时减轻乳胶泡沫的共振反弹和较不良的减压特性。

具体实施方式
I.定义
在本发明中,所列术语将定义如下:
泡沫的密度为其每单位体积的质量。密度可以磅每立方英尺(pcf)进行测量。
IFD为压痕力偏转,其为用于确定泡沫的坚固性和承重能力的方法。IFD测量将50平方英寸压缩压板按压到泡沫试样中所需的负载。IFD通常报告试样高度的25%的偏转,且以磅进行测量。可利用ASTM D3574-11测试B1来测量IFD。
气流量为泡沫的通气性的测量,且以立方英尺每分钟(cfm)进行测量。可利用ASTMD3574-11测试G来测量气流量。
复原时间为泡沫在移位之后返回到原始形状的速度的测量,且以秒计进行测量。复原时间通常用以测量粘弹性泡沫的记忆效应。可利用ASTMD3574-11测试M来测量复原时间。
回弹率为泡沫的弹性的测量,且测量为百分比。钢珠下落在泡沫试样上,且测量其回弹(相对于下落高度)的百分比高度。可利用ASTM D3574-11测试H来测量回弹率。
支撑因数(SF)为65%IFD与25%IFD的比率,且为无单位测量。SF为泡沫的“较深”支撑的测量,且指示泡沫是否将降到最低点。可利用STMD3574-11测试B1来测量SF。
Tg为泡沫的玻璃转移温度。其为所有泡沫的特性,但与记忆泡沫最为相关,因为记忆泡沫具有的Tg在正常环境温度范围(40℉到80℉)内。Tg为泡沫从硬质转变为柔韧的点。在Tg以下,泡沫为硬质的。在Tg以上,泡沫为柔韧的。机械特性的转变可为剧烈的,即使温度仅改变几度。可利用动态机械分析(DMA)或热应力分析(TSA)来测量Tg。
乳胶泡沫为任何高滞留泡沫,其中:i)回弹率可大于40%;ii)气流量可大于3.5cfm;且iii)复原时间可小于0.5秒。乳胶泡沫可为自然乳胶、苯乙烯丁二烯橡胶(SBR)、聚氨酯,或以上泡沫的任何掺合。
乳胶样泡沫为意欲模拟乳胶泡沫的机械特性的任何泡沫:(i)回弹率可大于40%;ii)气流量可大于3.5cfm;且iii)复原时间可小于0.5秒,但具有聚氨酯、聚乙烯或其它非自然或非SBR树脂或以上泡沫的任何掺合。
记忆泡沫为具有低回弹率、延迟的复原和温度敏感性响应的任何聚氨酯泡沫。更具体来说:i)回弹率可为1%到2%;ii)复原时间可大于1秒;且iii)温度敏感性响应可为响应于体热而软化且具有在40℉与80℉之间的Tg的泡沫。
II.床垫长度和宽度
本文中描述的床垫可具有任何合适长度和宽度,包含但不限于美国或非美国标准大小,例如特大号(King)、大号(Queen)、双人(Full)、普通双人(Twin)、超长(Extra Long)、加州大号(California King)、青年(Youth)和婴儿床(Crib)。
III.三层床垫

A.第一实施例
在第一实施例中,床垫100的总深度180可为9.5英寸。床垫100的第一层深度150可为1.5英寸。床垫的第二层深度160可为1.5英寸。床垫的第三层深度170可为6.5英寸。
在此第一实施例中,第一层120为乳胶泡沫层。第一层120可由来自Mountain Top泡沫的C1乳胶组成,且可具有表1中展示的物理性质。

在床垫行业中,用来描述泡沫的两个重要参数是IFD和SF。标准测试协议指定测试样本大小和这些参数的加载范围,其产生测量一致性。此类测试协议可见于ASTM D3574-11中。
IFD为泡沫坚固性的指示,且指示在用户推动泡沫时泡沫向后推动的力有多大。行业标准使用25%IFD数作为比较基础,因此IFD 8泡沫(8磅的后推)感觉比IFD 20泡沫(20磅的后推)软。
SF表示泡沫的“较深”支撑,且指示泡沫是否将降到最低点。SF为65%IFD与25%IFD的比率,即将样本按压到其原始高度的65%所需的力与将样本按压到其原始高度的25%所需的力的比率(标准IFD测量)。SF说明随着用户推动到泡沫中,单个类型的泡沫向后推多少。因此,在65%压缩时,SF为3且IFD为8的泡沫后推24磅,同时SF为2的IFD 8泡沫在65%压缩时仅向后推16磅。
线性“弹簧”泡沫通常具有为2.6的SF。乳胶和乳胶样泡沫通常具有较高SF(大致3.0到3.3)。记忆泡沫通常具有较低SF(大致为2.0到2.2)。这些差异在床垫的总体感觉上相当显著。
在床垫行业中,泡沫顶层应具有最低SF以减小压力点,且SF应随着人们向下移动到所述层中而增大已成为广受认可的规则。通过使第一层120包括乳胶或乳胶样泡沫且放置在包括记忆泡沫的第二层130的顶部上,关于SF的常规规则被颠倒。然而,因为床的泡沫层充当一系列弹簧,因此实现床垫用户的成功体验。此布置消除记忆泡沫的“卡持”,同时保持记忆泡沫的减压和运动隔离。同时,此布置受益于乳胶或乳胶样泡沫的透气性和反弹性,同时减轻乳胶或乳胶样泡沫的共振反弹和较不良的减压特性。
第三层140添加床垫的总体支撑和深度,且可由1.8pcf常规聚氨酯泡沫组成,且可具有表3中展示的物理性质。

VI.床垫运输
移动床垫是一项繁琐的任务。举例来说,大号床垫可能重达100磅,且通常松弛,不利于携带。其难以通过门道、楼梯且进入汽车中。由此,许多人会在搬家时舍弃床垫,因为移动床垫的负担和成本也极大。

VII.集成式床垫可洗衬垫
床垫是昂贵的花费,通常会由于汗液和/或其它体液而被染色。即使在与床单和床垫衬垫(用以保护床垫的单独购买的包覆层)一起使用时,床垫也会被染色。在几乎所有情况下,床垫自身的包覆层不可洗,除非进行点清洁。有限数目的床垫(通常为蒲团型式)可具有完全拉开且可洗涤的包覆层,但此通常为繁琐的过程,因为其需要对重床垫的大量操纵。床垫的染色限制其再次出售价值,且可能妨碍人们将床垫送给朋友(在其决定搬家到城镇或升级到不同床垫时)。

Claims (62)
1.一种设备,包括:
床垫,所述床垫包括第一水平层,位于第一水平层下方的第二水平层,以及位于第二水平层下方的第三水平层;
其中第一水平层包括乳胶泡沫;
其中第二水平层包括记忆泡沫;
其中第三水平层包括聚氨酯泡沫;并且
其中第一水平层具有至少40%的回弹率。
2.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,所述第一水平层具有至少2立方英尺每分钟的气流。
