Description

超声波密封装置
技术领域
本发明涉及对包装材料进行封装的超声波密封装置。
背景技术
当前,利用纸制的包装材料对饮料等液体进行收容而销售。对收容液体后的包装材料进行折叠或粘贴而成型为三棱锥、四棱柱乃至圆筒形等各种各样的立体形状。在本说明书中,将成型后的包装材料记作“包装”。
在制造这种包装中的例如近似四棱柱的包装的情况下,首先,使长条的包装材料的沿着长度方向的两端重叠地进行贴合而形成为筒状。接着,在将筒的下端封装并填充了内容物之后,将筒状的包装材料的上端封装。对两端封装的包装材料进行按压而成型为立体的四棱柱。此外,在本说明书中,下面,将包装材料的封装记作“密封”。
作为包装材料的密封的方法,存在超声波密封。在超声波密封中,利用被称为焊头的共振体和被称为砧座的夹具对包装材料的密封部分进行夹持加压。另外,在超声波密封中,在加压的同时经由焊头而将振动能量施加于密封部分,使包装材料内面的热可塑性树脂熔融而对包装材料彼此进行熔接。
例如,专利文献1中记载有对两端封装后的包装材料进行加压的超声波密封装置。专利文献1中记载的超声波密封装置在对超声波发生装置进行收容的壳体设置有折弯板,利用折弯板将呈筒状的包装材料折弯而对包装进行成型。
专利文献1中记载有如下内容,即,仅将折弯板从壳体拆下而对超声波装置的头部进行清洁。

发明内容
然而,超声波密封装置的焊头的维护并非仅对头部部分进行清洁。因此,对于在壳体设置有能够拆卸的折弯板的结构,在要对比焊头的头部靠壳体内侧的部分进行维护的情况下,有可能产生如下需要,即,将壳体分解、或者针对每个壳体而将焊头从超声波密封装置拆下。
另外,近年来,呈现出超声波密封逐渐变得高速化的趋势,当前,1分钟内制造100个至400个包装。如果使得超声波密封的处理实现高速化,则在焊头产生热量。作为对在焊头产生的热量进行冷却的方法,考虑对焊头浇水。然而,在由壳体将焊头的侧周覆盖的当前的超声波密封装置中,无法直接对焊头浇水,无法获得用于抑制焊头发热的充分的冷却效果。这里,越以高速进行超声波密封的处理,冷却越重要。
本发明就是鉴于上述问题而提出的,其目的在于提供一种能够使为了维护焊头而实施的作业变得容易、且焊头的冷却效率较高的超声波密封装置。
为了解决以上问题,本发明的一个方式的超声波密封装置的特征在于,具有:焊头,其与包装材料抵接而施加振动;以及焊头罩,其将上述焊头的侧周覆盖,并且具有框体,该框体形成有将包含上述焊头的空间和外部连通的切口部,该焊头罩相对于上述焊头能够拆装。
发明的效果
根据本发明的一个方式,能够提供如下超声波密封装置,该超声波密封装置能够使为了维护焊头而实施的作业变得容易、且焊头的冷却效率较高。

具体实施方式
下面,对本发明的一个实施方式进行说明。
本实施方式列举如下例子对本实施方式的超声波密封装置进行说明,即,制造具有近似四棱柱的外观、且在内部填充有液体的包装。此外,本实施方式所例示出的包装例如对具有果汁、酒类等液体、固态成分的内容物进行长期保存。
(整体结构)
图1是用于对本实施方式的超声波密封装置1进行说明的示意图。超声波密封装置1具有:焊头7,其与作为呈筒状的包装材料的筒状材料21抵接而施加振动;砧座6,其与焊头7相对配置;以及焊头罩9,其将焊头7的侧周覆盖。焊头罩9具有框体,该框体形成有将由焊头罩9包围的空间(包含焊头7的空间)和焊头罩9的外部的空间连通的作为切口部的狭缝91。
焊头罩9以及焊头7固定于超声波发生单元5,构成为相对于焊头7能够拆装。起到密封颚(seal jaw)的作用的焊头7以及焊头罩9与超声波发生单元5一起由颚支撑部3支撑。另外,起到密封颚的作用的砧座6由颚支撑部4支撑。利用颚支撑部3、4而能够使焊头7以及焊头罩9和砧座6在相互分离接近的方向上移动。
此外,本实施方式中所说的“框体”是指以将恒定的平面区域包围的方式形成的连续的部件(环状的部件)。
超声波发生单元5具有未图示的超声波振荡器以及转换器。超声波振荡器对作为超声波振子的转换器供给电力。由超声波振荡器供给的电力在由转换器变换为机械式振动之后向焊头7供给。
焊头7与砧座6一起将筒状材料21夹入,对筒状材料21进行加压且施加振动而对筒状材料21进行密封。在本实施方式中,下面将筒状材料21的被密封的部分记作“密封部分S”。筒状材料21在焊头7与砧座6之间被密封,且在图1中沿从上向下的一个方向输送。
在砧座6的与密封部分S抵接的面设置有密封条8,密封条8与筒状材料21抵接而与焊头7一起对筒状材料21进行加压。另外,砧座6具有间隙13。间隙13大致形成于筒状材料21的输送方向的中央。在该间隙13内收容有能够朝向焊头7移动的裁断刃10。另一方面,在焊头7形成有槽部11。槽部11形成于与砧座6的间隙13相对的位置,朝向焊头7移动的裁断刃10进入该槽部11。裁断刃10进入槽部11而将筒状材料21的密封部分S切断。
(焊头罩)
图2是用于对图1所示的焊头7以及焊头罩9进行说明的示意性的图。超声波发生单元5在壳体51内内置有未图示的超声波振荡器以及转换器。在壳体51安装有盖52,由盖52将设置有超声波振荡器以及转换器的空间封闭。焊头7以及焊头罩9分别个别地安装固定于盖52。因此,焊头罩9能够独立地从盖52拆下而不将焊头7从盖52拆下。在本实施方式中,将这种结构记作“相对于焊头7能够拆装”。
图3是用于对焊头罩9进行说明的斜视图。如图3所示,焊头罩9具有层叠的多个小框体93-1、93-2、93-3、93-4、以及基座90。多个小框体93-1~93-4在从基座90朝向砧座6的层叠方向d上层叠且相互连结而实现了一体化。在本实施方式中,螺钉95同轴地将多个小框体93-1~93-4以及基座90贯通,螺钉95的前端部侧螺纹固定于盖52,由此进行多个小框体93-1~93-4的连结。
此外,小框体93-1~93-4例如只要由铁、不锈钢、铝合金、钛合金等材料构成即可。
多个小框体93-1~93-4是彼此形状相同的部件,是将矩形形状的平面B包围的连续的部件(剖面呈矩形的环状的部件)。平面B的位置与焊头7的未图示的头部对应。但是,除了最接近砧座6的小框体93-1以外的小框体93-2~93-4在朝向层叠方向d的面分别具有凹陷阶梯部931,在具有凹陷阶梯部931的面的背面分别具有凸出阶梯部932。
凹陷阶梯部931以及凸出阶梯部932通过彼此相邻的框体的凸出阶梯部932以及凹陷阶梯部931彼此卡合而防止彼此的错位。另外,最接近砧座6的小框体93-1在朝向小框体93-2的面具有凸出阶梯部932,凸出阶梯部932与小框体93-2的凹陷阶梯部931卡合。另外,基座90具有凹陷阶梯部931,凹陷阶梯部931与小框体93-4的凸出阶梯部932卡合。
在多个小框体93-1~93-4层叠连结而成的焊头罩9形成有图3中示出的按压面A、A’。各小框体93-1~93-4分别具有切口191。如果多个小框体93-1~93-4由螺钉95连结,则切口191因相邻的小框体彼此抵接而形成狭缝91。因此,在焊头罩9,在按压面A、A’形成有狭缝91。如后所述,为了对包装进行按压而成型为四棱柱,使用按压面A、A’。本实施方式的狭缝91在与多个小框体93-1~93-4的层叠方向d相交叉的方向、例如正交的方向上延伸。
对于图3所示的焊头罩9,能够通过将螺钉95拧松而一次性地将多个小框体93-1~93-4以及基座90从盖52拆下。因此,本实施方式在焊头7的维护时能够容易地将焊头罩9整体拆下。
另外,根据焊头罩9,在按压面A形成有多个狭缝91,从而如果从外侧对焊头罩9浇水,则对于冷却而言足够量的水从多个狭缝91进入焊头罩9内。进入焊头罩9内的水直接与焊头7接触而高效地将焊头7冷却。
另外,能够经由焊头罩9所具有的多个狭缝91对焊头7喷射空气而进行净化,将附着于焊头7的尘埃、污垢去除。根据这种结构,能够不将焊头罩9拆下而对焊头7进行维护。
另外,焊头罩9可以通过对简单且基本构造由同一形状构成的多个小框体93-1~93-4进行层叠而形成,因此焊头罩9的加工以及制造比较简单。另外,在小框体93-1~93-4设置切口191而形成狭缝91,从而,在本实施方式中,与将一体形成的焊头罩9的壁面挖穿而形成狭缝的情况相比,能够简单地形成具有狭缝91的焊头罩9。
但是,已知焊头7的头部部分的前端振幅有助于筒状材料21的密封的状态。焊头7以金属为材料,金属的母材各自所具有的音速具有偏差。因此,为了使焊头7的前端振幅最优化,考虑根据音速的偏差而对焊头7的长度进行变更。此时,焊头罩9能够通过对重叠的框体的数量、宽度进行调整而应对各种长度的焊头7。因此,本实施方式无需针对每个焊头7而分别制作个别形状的焊头罩9,能够通过对框体进行更换而应对长度不同的多个焊头7。
(筒状材料)
这里,对利用焊头7和砧座6进行密封的筒状材料21进行说明。图4是用于对成为筒状材料21的材料的包装材料49进行说明的图。包装材料49具有树脂、纸的多层构造。在包装材料49中,将朝向填充有内容物的包装内部的面记作“内面”,将朝向包装表面的面记作“表面”。从内面侧按顺序对第一聚乙烯(PolyEthylene:下面也记作PE)树脂491、阻隔材料492、第二PE树脂493、纸494以及第三PE树脂495的各层进行层叠而形成包装材料49。
第一PE树脂491是热可塑性树脂,起到对包装材料49的内面彼此进行熔接时的粘接剂的作用。另外,作为阻隔材料492,能举出尼龙(Ny)类、聚乙烯醇(PVA)、乙烯/乙烯醇共聚树脂(EVOH)、聚偏二氯乙烯(PVDC)、以及它们的混合物等。另外,作为阻隔材料492,能举出形成蒸镀膜层且具有阻隔性的聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)、铝等。
图5(a)、图5(b)以及图5(c)是用于对筒状材料21进行说明的图。如图5(a)所示,使长条形状的包装材料49的沿着长度方向的端部496a、496b重叠而形成筒状材料21。因此,筒状材料21也成为长条形状的部件。对端部496a、496b重叠的重叠部分标注“R”的符号而示出。
图5(b)是利用图5(a)中示出的筒状材料21的沿着短边方向的线段I-I对筒状材料21进行剖切的剖面图。如图5(b)所示,在本实施方式中,将端部496a、端部496b重叠的区域记作重叠部分R。如图5(c)所示,在重叠部分R的端部496a的端部粘贴有边缘保护带31。边缘保护带31将端部496a粘贴于包装材料49的内面而使得包装材料49成型为筒状材料21。
利用焊头7以及砧座6对筒状材料21进行密封。在砧座6的对筒状材料21进行密封的面形成有阶梯部23,重叠部分R在密封时由阶梯部23按压。对于阶梯部23,鉴于重叠部分R比其他密封部分厚,减轻对重叠部分R施加的压力而防止筒状材料21的表面损伤。
(动作)
下面,对本实施方式的超声波密封装置的动作进行说明。
返回至图1,将长条形状的筒状材料21放置于超声波密封装置1,利用未图示的输送机构从图1中的上朝向下对筒状材料21进行输送。此外,将筒状材料21的输送方向设定为从上朝向下的方向,由此使得筒状材料21不会因重力而松弛地在焊头7与砧座6之间移动。
焊头7以及砧座6相对于向下方输送的筒状材料21从左右侧接近,对筒状材料21的密封部分S进行夹持加压、且施加基于超声波的频率的振动。通过振动使第一PE树脂491熔融,通过加压而对筒状材料21的内面进行密封。
如图1所示,在砧座6的间隙13设置有裁断刃10。另一方面,形成有与焊头对应的槽部11。在密封结束之后,裁断刃10朝向槽部11移动,在上下方向上将密封部分S切断。通过密封部分S的切断而完成上部和底部被密封后的包装。另外,通过密封部分S的切断而形成仅底部被密封的筒状材料21。将液体的内容物22填充于仅底部被密封的筒状材料21。利用焊头7以及砧座6以与上述方式相同的方式对填充有内容物22的筒状材料21的上部进行密封。而且,利用裁断刃10将密封部分S切断而完成包装。在超声波密封装置中从上朝向下对包装进行输送。
在本实施方式中,设置有2套这种焊头7和砧座6的单元,一套对筒状材料21的上部进行密封,另一套对筒状材料21的下部进行密封、切断。而且,如果密封完毕,则将上部密封后的单元下降而在下一次对筒状材料21的下部进行密封·切断,另一套升起而对筒状材料21的上部进行密封·切断。
并且,在本实施方式中,在焊头7以及砧座6的上下设置有未图示的被称为保持翼板的框体。在利用进行了密封的单元的焊头罩9的按压面A使得将下部密封并而切断的筒状材料21成型为密封部分附近的四棱柱时,对成为顶面的部分进行按压,在成型为四棱柱时,将成为侧面的部分按压于上侧的保持翼板。而且,在将上部密封并切断时,利用进行了密封的焊头罩9的按压面A’对在成型为密封部分附近的四棱柱时成为底面的部分进行按压,在成为四棱柱时将成为侧面的部分按压于下侧的保持翼板。通过这种动作对包装的被切断后的密封部分进行折叠而使其成型为近似四棱柱的形状。
另外,本实施方式与以上动作并行地从焊头罩9上浇水而对焊头7进行冷却。此时,水从设置于按压面A、A’的狭缝91进入焊头罩9的内部。而且,水直接与焊头7接触而对焊头7进行冷却,由此抑制焊头7发热。
以上说明的本实施方式能够从焊头罩9之上对焊头7进行冷却。另外,本实施方式能够一次性地将焊头罩9拆下,能够容易地进行焊头7的维护。另外,本实施方式能够对焊头罩9进行净化而将附着于焊头7的尘埃等去除。
并且,本实施方式根据焊头7的长度而更换框体,由此能够应对长度不同的多个焊头7。
此外,以上说明的本实施方式并不限定于上述结构。即,本实施方式中作为切口而在焊头罩9形成有狭缝91,但切口并不限定于狭缝91,只要使在焊头罩9对焊头7进行收容的空间和外部连通即可。另外,如图3所示,本实施方式使得狭缝91形成为朝向与小框体93-1至93-4层叠的层叠方向d正交的方向,但狭缝的朝向可以是任意朝向。
以上说明的本实施方式的附图是示意性的图,应当留意厚度和平面尺寸的关系、各层的厚度的比率等与实际情况不同。因此,应当参照说明而判断具体的厚度、尺寸。另外,当然也包含彼此的尺寸的关系、比率在附图彼此间也不同的部分。
另外,本实施方式例示出了用于使本发明的技术思想实现具体化的结构,本发明的技术思想并未确定构成部件的材质、形状、构造、配置等。对于本发明的技术思想,可以在权利要求书中记载的权利要求所规定的技术范围内施加各种变更。
本发明当然包含这里未记载的各种实施方式等。因此,仅由根据上述说明而适当的权利要求书中记载的发明特定事项来规定本发明的技术范围。

Claims (5)

1.一种超声波密封装置,其特征在于,具有:
焊头,其与包装材料抵接而施加振动;以及
焊头罩,其将所述焊头的侧周覆盖,并且具有框体,该框体形成有将包含所述焊头的空间和外部连通的切口部,该焊头罩相对于所述焊头能够拆装。
2.根据权利要求1所述的超声波密封装置,其特征在于,
还具有与所述焊头相对配置的砧座,
所述框体由多个小框体构成,多个所述小框体在朝向所述砧座的方向上层叠且相互连结。
3.根据权利要求2所述的超声波密封装置,其特征在于,
所述切口部是沿与所述小框体的层叠方向相交叉的方向延伸的狭缝。
4.根据权利要求2或3所述的超声波密封装置,其特征在于,
所述超声波密封装置具有:
裁断刃,其收容于在所述砧座形成的间隙内,能够朝向所述焊头移动;以及
槽部,其形成于所述焊头的与所述间隙相对的位置,朝向所述焊头移动的所述裁断刃进入该槽部,
所述裁断刃进入所述槽部从而将所述包装材料的被封装的部分切断。
5.根据权利要求4所述的超声波密封装置,其特征在于,
所述焊头罩对封装后切断的所述包装材料的部分进行按压。
