The passion fruit belongs to a male-female cross flower, a female flower bears fruits, a male flower is used for pollination, and pollination media of the passion fruit are mainly bees and insects, and artificial pollination can also be carried out. The passion fruit planted in spring can bloom in 7 months and can harvest in 11 months in the year. In the next year, the flowers begin to bloom in 4 months each year, 5-6 batches of flowers can be opened in one year, the flowers in each batch are separated by 20 days, 60-70 days are needed from the flowering to the fruit ripening, and the fruits are harvested for more than 4 months.
Bufona is also called black tiger, a woody evergreen vine plant of the family Schisandraceae, which originates from the original forest in the southwest part of China. The Bufna is a novel fruit integrating edible, medicinal, greening and ornamental functions, and is a multipurpose fruit tree with great development potential. The Bufna has strong adaptability, high temperature resistance, half-yin preference, no plant diseases and insect pests, easy management, and fruit bearing after 3 years of cultivation, full fruit bearing period up to 4 years, full fruit bearing period up to 10-15 years, flowering period 4-7 months, and fruit bearing period 7-11 months.
The passion fruit and the bufona are lianas, strong adaptability and low requirement on soil, the passion fruit likes sufficient sunlight, and the bufona likes semiyin, so that the passion fruit and the bufona are suitable for interplanting.
