如果减压接口116在第一孔口152处附接在第一纵向末端110,则可以将任何类型的减压源120附接到减压接口116上。例如,可以将例如微型泵128的一个泵附接到减压接口116侍郎,或者可以将一个减压递送导管118与一个远程减压源附接在一起。
取决于应用,多个装置可以流体连接至减压递送导管118。例如,可以包括一个流体罐122或者一个代表性装置124。代表性装置124可以是另一种流体贮器或者罐,用来容纳渗出物以及其他移除的流体。可以包括在减压递送导管118上的代表性装置124的其他实例包括以下非限制性实例:压力反馈装置、容积检测系统、血液检测系统、感染检测系统、流量监测系统、或温度监测系统、过滤器等等。这些装置中的一些可以与减压源120一体形成。例如,减压源120上的一个减压端口126可以包括一个过滤器构件,该过滤器构件包括一个或多个过滤器,例如一个气味过滤器。

囊封袋136典型地形成有一个第一囊封层148和一个第二囊封层150,其至少部分地包封递送歧管138、142、144和吸收层140。第二囊封层150是递送与流体贮存桥接器102的第二面向患者侧105。第一孔口152紧邻递送与流体贮存桥接器102的第一纵向末端110而形成在第一囊封层148上。第一孔口152用于将来自减压源120的减压流体传送至递送歧管138、142、144。一个第二孔口154形成在第二囊封层150的第二面向患者侧105上,用于将减压从内部部分146传输至组织部位104。在内部部分146中可以包含一种抗微生物添加剂以帮助控制细菌生长。

囊封层148、150可以由提供围绕内部部分146的流体密封的任何材料形成,该流体密封允许针对一个给定的减压源将减压维持在其中。囊封层148、150可以(例如)是一种不可渗透的或半渗透性弹性体材料。对于半渗透性材料,渗透性必须足够低,使得对于给定的减压源,可以维持所希望的减压。“弹性体的”表示具有弹性体的特性。弹性体材料通常是指一种具有橡胶样特性的聚合物材料。更确切地说,大多数弹性体具有大于100%的极限伸长和一个显著的回弹量。材料的回弹是指材料从弹性变形恢复的能力。弹性体的实例可以包括,但不限于,天然橡胶、聚异戊二烯、丁苯橡胶、氯丁二烯橡胶、聚丁二烯、丁腈橡胶、丁基橡胶、乙丙橡胶、乙烯丙烯二烯单体、氯磺化聚乙烯、聚硫橡胶、聚氨酯(PU)、EVA膜、共聚酯和硅酮类。密封构件材料的另外的具体实例包括硅酮布单、3M布单或者聚氨酯(PU)布单,例如可以获自加利福尼亚州帕萨迪纳市的艾利丹尼森公司(AveryDennisonCorporationofPasadena,California)的一种布单。
如图6中所示,一个湿气去除装置160(例如,芯吸层)可以连接至第二囊封层150的外部部分以提供舒适度并且从患者的皮肤去除流体。湿气去除装置160可以是布材料布单、无纺织物、针织聚酯机织纺织材料,例如以来自丹麦的克罗普拉斯特公司(ColoplastA/SofDenmark)的在AG材料、材料、DuPont材料等等名称下出售的材料。
一个或多个粘合构件161(例如,粘合环163)可以施加于递送与流体贮存桥接器102的第二面向患者侧105紧邻第二孔口154。一或多个粘合构件161帮助形成紧邻组织部位104的流体密封——在一个密封构件(例如参见图10中的315)上,或者直接在组织部位和患者皮肤的一部分上。
另外的元件可以布置在内部部分146中在多个离散位置或者沿着递送与流体贮存桥接器102的纵向长度132而布置。例如,如在图7中所示,一个气味控制装置162可以布置在内部部分146中。气味控制装置162可以例如为一个木炭过滤器。一种抗菌添加剂可以包含在内部部分146中以帮助控制细菌生长。作为另一个实例,如在图8中所示,一个单腔或多腔导管164可以布置在内部部分146中。导管164可以促进组织部位处或紧邻组织部位处的压力的测量。导管164可以紧邻递送与流体贮存桥接器102的第一纵向末端110而终止,或者可以继续沿递送与流体贮存桥接器102的纵向长度132至第二纵向末端112。可以紧邻第一孔口152而包括疏水滤膜过滤器166以防止流体(例如,渗出物或者其他流体)排出递送与流体贮存桥接器102。
在递送与流体贮存桥接器102的第一纵向末端110处可以包含一种变色染料,以便提供关于吸收层140的状态的反馈。当该变色染料变得潮湿时,该变色染料可以改变颜色或色调,因此提供递送与流体贮存桥接器102被充满的视觉指示。而且,变色染料可以定位于不同的位置或者沿着递送与流体贮存桥接器102而延续,从而提供所使用的容量的渐增指示,例如使用了25%、50%、75%、100%。递送与流体贮存桥接器102中的电极可以包括在第一纵向末端处以形成一个原电池,当这些电极被渗出物或者其他去除的液体覆盖时,该原电池提供一个电压。另外,内腔164可以监测在第二纵向末端112处的压力,并且可以将这个信息与减压源120处的压力进行比较以确定跨越系统100的压降,并且因此确定饱和。
在另一个实施方案中,可以使用第一囊封层148或者第二囊封层150的一部分来形成内腔164,并且一个另外的纵向片固定到第一囊封层148或者第二囊封层150的面向内部的表面以形成内腔164。在又另一个实施方案中,内腔164可以具有布置在内腔164中的歧管化(manifolding)材料。在又另一实施方案中,一种纵向歧管材料可以放置于第一囊封层148与第二囊封层150之间位于一个外周附近,在该外周处,第一囊封层148和第二囊封层150以别的方式直接接触。可以在该纵向歧管材料的每一侧上形成密封或粘结,从而形成内腔164,在其中具有歧管材料。
在操作中,可以将治疗歧管109放置于组织部位104中或者紧邻组织部位104。可以将一个密封构件(例如参见图10中的密封构件315)放置于治疗歧管109和患者的皮肤的一部分上。粘合构件161可以用来将递送与流体贮存桥接器102的第二纵向末端112密封在患者的组织部位104上。粘合构件161帮助在递送与流体贮存桥接器102与该密封构件或者患者的皮肤之间形成流体密封。“流体密封”或“密封”表示足以保持在一个所希望的部位的减压的密封,前提是涉及特定的减压源或子系统。
递送与流体贮存桥接器102的纵向长度132可以用来将第一纵向末端110定位于一个方便的位置,从而如在图1中所示附接减压接口116和减压递送导管118,或者在如图3中所示方便地接近一个微型泵128。可以使用一个胶带或套将递送与流体贮存桥接器102保持在患者的身体的一部分上。一旦部署好,便起动减压源120。
当起动减压源120时,减压源120沿着递送与流体贮存桥接器102通过递送歧管138、142、144将减压传送至递送与流体贮存桥接器102的第二纵向末端112。然后该将减压通过第二孔口154施加至紧邻组织部位104的治疗歧管109上。另外,典型地,从组织部位104抽吸流体,并且通过第二孔口154接收这些流体。在进入内部部分146之后,这些流体被募集到紧邻递送歧管138、142、144而定位的吸收层140中。这些流体基本上被募集并且维持于吸收层140中。结果,典型地,减压可以相对更有效地通过递送歧管138、142、144输送。这样,减压不必以减压以别的方式的相同程度来克服重力对液体柱的影响。典型地,在递送与流体贮存桥接器102上实现的压降是恒定的,直到吸收层140变得饱和为止。如先前所述,可以使用高芯吸材料用于递送歧管材料以便允许递送与流体贮存桥接器102甚至在不施加减压的情况下也通过递送与流体贮存桥接器102去除流体。
因此,递送与流体贮存桥接器102可以尤其有用于避免仅仅通过减压来抵抗重力而保持来自一个组织部位的过量流体的情形。递送与流体贮存桥接器102使液体移动进入贮存器,并且提供气体的流动路径。液体被汲取到吸收层140中,并且允许气体保留在递送歧管138、142、144中。通过使用这种方法,不必随着递送与流体贮存桥接器102中的流体量的增加而调节减压源120。典型地,在递送与流体贮存桥接器102上实现的压降是恒定的,直到吸收层140变得饱和为止。
现在主要参考图9,呈现了递送与流体贮存桥接器202的另一个说明性的、非限制性的实施方案。在多数方面,递送与流体贮存桥接器202类似于图1至图4的递送与流体贮存桥接器102,并且同样或相应的参考号已经被标记为100。递送与流体贮存桥接器202具有一个第一纵向末端210以及一个第二纵向末端212。第一纵向末端210包括一个减压源220。第二纵向末端包括一个孔口254,用于在递送与流体贮存桥接器202的面向患者侧上传送减压。

在此处的递送与流体贮存桥接器102、202、302的低型允许每一桥接器102、202、302在许多情况下使用而不会使特定点处的压力升高(即,不会引起应力梯级(stressriser)),这种压力升高可能会导致压力性溃疡的形成。递送与流体贮存桥接器102、202、302使液体与气体分离。液体被汲取进入吸收层(例如,吸收层140)中,直到发生饱和,并且允许气体保留在递送歧管142或者歧管138中,在该处可以通过一个减压源来去除这些气体。
