本发明涉及电极材料,包含:
(a)至少一种通式(I)的组分:
Li(1+x)[NiaCobMncM1 d](1-x)O2 (I)

此外,本发明涉及一种制造本发明电极材料的方法。此外,本发明涉及本发明电极材料的用途。
锂离子蓄电池组是用于储能的现代装置。一直设想许多应用领域,从小装置如移动电话和笔记本电脑到汽车电池组和其他用于电动性的电池组。电池组的各种组分,如电解质、电极材料和隔片,对于该电池组的性能具有决定性作用。一直特别注意的是阴极材料。已经提出了几种材料,如磷酸铁锂、锂钴氧化物和锂镍钴锰氧化物。尽管已经进行了广泛研究,但迄今为止所发现的解决方案仍留有改进余地。
许多作者研究了磷酸铁锂中锂和过渡金属的化学计量的影响。D.-H.Kim等,J.Power Sources 2006,159,237报道了磷酸铁锂中的磷酸锂杂质,并且它们公开了具有过量铁的样品具有更大容量和更好倍率性能(rate capability)。P.Axmann等,Chem.Mater.2009,21,1636总结出磷酸铁锂中的Li3PO4可以作为惰性物质起作用。
在EP 2 565 966(WO 2011/136549)和EP 2 571 082(WO 2011/142554)中已经公开了涂有Li3PO4的锂代镍-钴-锰氧化物。该额外涂敷步骤费事。
在WO 2008/088180中已经公开了包含两种含锂复合氧化物的某些混杂电极材料,其中一种优选为磷酸铁锂且另一种为锂过渡金属氧化物如LiCoO2或LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2。优选该LiCoO2或LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2分别表面涂有磷酸铁锂。所公开的材料显示出改进的安全性能。
然而,它们就其在各种温度下,尤其是在45℃或更高的温度下的容量而言,尤其是就在该高温下的容量损失而言仍留有改进余地。此外,也可能改进在更高温度下如45℃或更高下的循环稳定性和C倍率性能(rate performance)。
因此,本发明的目的是要提供在45℃或更高下具有改进容量,尤其是在该高温下的容量损失改进的电池组。此外,目的是要提供一种制造在45℃或更高下具有改进容量,尤其是在该高温下的容量损失改进的电池组的方法。
因此,发现了开头所定义的材料,下文也称为本发明电极材料或根据本发明的电极材料。
本发明电极材料包含至少三种组分,即组分(a)、(b)和(c)。所述三种组分更详细在下文描述。
在优选实施方案中,组分(a)由通式(I)表征:
Li(1+x)[NiaCobMncM1 d](1-x)O2 (I)

在本发明的一个实施方案中,上述通式(I)涉及组分(a)的电中性状态。优选组分(a)为一种上述通式(I)的化合物。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,组分(a)中至多5mol%的氧化物离子可以被氟化物替代。在其他实施方案中,组分(a)基本不含氟,即氟相对于氧化物低于100ppm,或者甚至低于试验检测的水平。氟化物含量可以通过重量分析测定,例如作为CaF2,或者优选通过离子色谱法测定。
组分(a)的合成可以分两步进行。在第一步中形成前体,例如通过镍、锰和任选钴和/或M1的水不溶性盐,如碳酸盐、氢氧化物、氢氧化物-碳酸盐、氧化物和羟基氧化物(oxyhydroxide)的共沉淀。在第二步中将该前体与锂盐如LiOH或Li2CO3混合物并将所述混合物煅烧(烧制)。在本发明上下文中,将所述前体与相对于包括在M1内的过渡金属的总和而摩尔过量的锂化合物混合。就合成组分(a)而言水不溶性是指相应前体在pH值为7且温度为20℃下溶解度为0.1g/l蒸馏水或更低。
组分(b)由通式(I)表征:
LiFe(1-y)M2 yPO4·m磷酸锂 (II)
其中y为0-0.8,优选0-0.2,
M2为至少一种选自Ti、Co、Mn、Ni、V、Mg、Nd、Zn和Y的元素,并且在其中y≠0的实施方案中,优选M2选自Ti、Co和Mn,
m为选自0.01-0.15,优选0.02-0.10的值。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,上述通式(II)涉及组分(b)的电中性状态。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,磷酸锂选自Li3PO4、LiPO3和Li4P2O7或其中至少两种的组合,如Li3PO4和Li4P2O7的组合。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,组分(b)在其组成上不均匀且磷酸锂不均匀分布于组分(b)上。优选磷酸锂主要或仅仅位于LiFe(1-y)M2 yPO4初级颗粒的边界上,所述磷酸锂优选不引入LiFe(1-y)M2 yPO4的结构中,而是作为次级相。
许多元素无所不在。例如,钠、铜和氯离子可以在基本上所有无机材料中以一定程度上非常小的比例检测到。在本发明上下文中,不考虑比例小于0.1重量%的阳离子或阴离子。包含小于0.1重量%钠的式(I)或(II)化合物因此在本发明上下文中被认为是无钠的。相应地,包含小于0.1重量%硫酸根离子的式(I)或(II)化合物在本发明上下文中被认为是无硫酸根的。
不希望受任何理论束缚,可以假定额外的磷酸锂化合物促进锂离子横跨晶界转移,尤其是在高温下。
不希望受任何理论束缚,在更高温度如45℃或甚至60℃下,磷酸锂可以用作锂离子,尤其是组分(a)的额外储备。
组分(b)可以根据各种方法,例如通过固态方法或沉淀方法制造。在一个实施方案中,组分(b)可以通过胶凝法制备。胶凝法使得可以从合成的最早阶段开始以纳米尺度控制材料结构。通过蒸发水而使含有水溶性铁(III)盐如Fe(NO3)3或Fe2(SO4)3,Li盐如LiOH或Li2CO3,磷酸盐源如NH4H2PO4和还原剂如抗坏血酸以及任选至少一种M2的水溶性化合物,如Co(NO3)2、Mn(NO3)2、Ni(NO3)2、VO(NO3)2、VOCl2、VOCl3、ZnCl2、Zn(NO3)2、Mg(NO3)2等的水溶液胶凝。得到干凝胶,随后将其在300-400℃的温度下干燥,然后机械处理并再次在450-550℃下干燥,然后在700-825℃下煅烧,优选在氢气气氛下煅烧。该还原剂,优选抗坏血酸,也可以用作碳源。
在另一实施方案中,组分(b)可以由水不溶性铁化合物作为铁源在水热条件下合成。在该实施方案中,将水不溶性铁(III)化合物如Fe2O3、Fe3O4、FeOOH或Fe(OH)3的含水淤浆与至少一种还原剂如肼、水合肼、硫酸肼、羟胺、碳基还原剂如伯或仲醇,还原性糖,或抗坏血酸,或还原性亚磷化合物如H3PO3或其铵盐混合。可以加入碳源如石墨、碳黑或活性炭。在还原剂不带有任何亚磷原子的情况下,加入磷酸盐源,如磷酸、磷酸铵或磷酸(二)氢铵,尤其是(NH4)2HPO4或NH4H2PO4。H3PO3或其铵盐与磷酸盐源的组合也是可行的。然后使如此得到的淤浆在100-350℃的温度下在锂化合物如Li2CO3、LiOH等存在下反应,优选反应时间为1-24小时。该反应可以在1-100巴的压力下进行。然后除去水,接着煅烧,例如在700-900℃下煅烧,优选在氢气气氛下煅烧。
在另一实施方案中,组分(b)可以由水溶性铁化合物作为铁源在水热条件下合成。在该实施方案中,将水溶性铁(II)化合物如FeSO4·7H2O或水溶性铁(III)化合物如Fe2(SO4)3·7H2O的水溶液与Li化合物,如LiOH·H2O,以及亚磷化合物如H3PO4、(NH4)3PO4·3H2O、NH4H2PO4或(NH4)2HPO4混合,加入或不加入任何还原剂,如抗坏血酸,和/或加入或不加入聚乙二醇(PEG)。然后将如此得到的溶液在120-190℃,优选在175℃以上水热加工。在水热处理之后,在大多数情况下将如此得到的粉末在更高温度,例如600-800℃下处理。
在另一实施方案中,组分(b)可以以溶胶-凝胶方法合成。在该实施方案中,制备水溶性铁(II)化合物如乙酸亚铁、锂化合物如Li2CO3或乙酸锂和H3PO4在至少一种有机溶剂如DMF(N,N-二甲基甲酰胺)中的溶液。然后除去有机溶剂,优选通过蒸发除去。然后将残余物逐步加热至700℃,然后在750-850℃的温度下在还原性气氛下,例如在氢气下煅烧。
在另一实施方案中,组分(b)可以由草酸盐,如草酸铁合成。草酸铁可以通过在醇存在下通过球磨或通过使用高剪切混合机制备FeC2O4·2H2O与锂化合物如Li2CO3或LiOH·2H2O和NH4H2PO4的化学计量混合物而用于固态方法中。加入碳源如聚乙烯醇(PVA)或葡萄糖并将所得材料烧结,例如在600-800℃下在还原性气氛下烧结。
在另一实施方案中,草酸铁可以用于软化学-流变相反应方法,其中通过彻底研磨、加入聚合物如聚乙二醇作为碳源而将FeC2O4·2H2O与锂化合物如Li2CO3和亚磷化合物如NH4H2PO4混合。然后将如此得到的前体在惰性气氛中加热至400-800℃。
在另一实施方案中,组分(b)可以通过在650-800℃下的固态反应由不含或优选含有结晶水的磷酸铁以及锂盐,优选Li2CO3的共混物合成。
在上述各实施方案中,锂盐相对于铁或铁和M2的总和摩尔过量。
在上述化合物的式子中,已忽略结晶水。
水溶性就合成组分(b)的原料而言是指在20℃下在蒸馏水中呈现的溶解度为10g/l或更大的化合物。水不溶性就合成组分(b)的原料而言是指在20℃下在蒸馏水中呈现的溶解度为0.1g/l或更小的化合物。
本发明电极材料进一步含有呈导电晶型的碳,也简称为碳(c)。碳(c)可以选自碳黑、活性炭、碳纳米管、石墨烯和石墨。碳(c)可以在本发明电极材料的制备过程中直接加入,或者可以与组分(a)一起或优选与组分(b)一起就地制造,例如通过加入有机化合物并与所述有机化合物一起煅烧组分(b)的任何前体。聚合有机化合物是可以用作碳源的有机化合物的优选实例。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,组分(a)与组分(b)的重量比为30:70-97.5:2.5,优选80:20-95:5,更优选85:15-95:5。尤其在高于60℃的温度下,若组分(a)与组分(b)的重量比降至低于30:70,则30个或更多个循环之后的容量变得太低。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,碳(c)的量相对于组分(b)为1-8重量%,优选至少2重量%。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,组分(b)的表面(BET)为5-35m2/g,优选7-15m2/g。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,组分(a)的表面(BET)为0.2-10m2/g,优选0.3-1m2/g。该表面(BET)可以通过氮气吸附例如根据DIN 66131测定。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,组分(a)的初级颗粒具有的平均直径为1-2000nm,优选10-1000nm,特别优选50-500nm。平均初级粒径例如可以通过SEM或TEM测定。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,组分(a)的次级颗粒的粒径(D50)为6-16μm,尤其是7-9μm。平均粒径(D50)就本发明而言是指基于体积的粒径的中值,这例如可以通过光散射,尤其是通过LASER散射技术,例如在0.5-3巴的压力下测定。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,组分(b)的初级颗粒具有的平均直径为1-2000nm,优选10-1000nm,特别优选50-500nm,甚至更优选80-270nm。平均初级粒径例如可以通过SEM或TEM或者通过XRD方法测定。该类XRD方法优选使用Scherrer方程式,其中峰宽与晶粒尺寸成反比。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,组分(b)呈初级颗粒的附聚物形式,该类附聚物具有1-10μm,优选2-5μm,甚至更优选4-5μm的平均直径(d50)。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,组分(b)在初级晶粒(初级颗粒)之间并且在次级颗粒表面上由一层碳(c)涂敷。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,碳(c)具有的平均初级粒径为1-500nm,优选2-100nm,特别优选2-50nm,非常特别优选2-4nm或更小。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,根据式(I)的组分(a)以梯度材料形式提供。梯度材料在本发明上下文中是指颗粒,尤其是次级颗粒,其中至少两种过渡金属的过渡金属含量在颗粒的半径或直径上不一致。优选锰的含量在颗粒的壳中高10-20mol%,相对于Ni、Co、Mn以及适用的话M1的总和。优选镍的含量在颗粒的核中与相应颗粒的壳相比高10-20mol%,相对于Ni、Co、Mn以及适用的话M1的总和。在其他实施方案中,根据式(I)的组分(a)在相应颗粒的直径上具有均匀的过渡金属离子分布。
本发明材料原则上可以用作阴极材料。
本发明的另一方面涉及包含至少一种本发明电极材料的阴极。它们尤其可以用于锂离子电池组。包含至少一个本发明电极的锂离子电池组呈现非常好的放电和循环行为,尤其是在高温(45℃或更高,例如至多60℃)下,尤其就容量损失而言,以及在高温如60℃或更高下非常好的安全行为。优选还改善循环稳定性和C倍率容量(rate capacity)行为。包含至少一种本发明电极材料的阴极下文也称为本发明阴极或根据本发明的阴极。
本发明阴极可以包含其他组分。它们可以包含集电器,如但不限于铝箔。它们可以进一步包含粘合剂(d)。
合适的粘合剂(d)优选选自有机(共)聚合物。合适的(共)聚合物,即均聚物或共聚物,例如可以选自可以通过阴离子、催化或自由基(共)聚合得到的(共)聚合物,尤其选自聚乙烯、聚丙烯腈、聚丁二烯、聚苯乙烯以及至少两种选自乙烯、丙烯、苯乙烯、(甲基)丙烯腈和1,3-丁二烯的共聚单体的共聚物。聚丙烯也合适。聚异戊二烯和聚丙烯酸酯额外是合适的。特别优选聚丙烯腈。
在本发明上下文中,聚丙烯腈应理解为不仅指聚丙烯腈均聚物,而且指丙烯腈与1,3-丁二烯或苯乙烯的工具物。优选聚丙烯腈均聚物。
在本发明上下文中,聚乙烯不仅应理解为指均聚乙烯,而且指包含至少50mol%共聚乙烯和至多50mol%至少一种其他共聚单体的乙烯共聚物,其他共聚单体例如α-烯烃如丙烯、丁烯(1-丁烯)、1-己烯、1-辛烯、1-癸烯、1-十二碳烯、1-戊烯以及还有异丁烯,乙烯基芳烃,例如苯乙烯,还有(甲基)丙烯酸,乙酸乙烯酯,丙酸乙烯酯,(甲基)丙烯酸的C1-C10烷基酯,尤其是丙烯酸甲酯、甲基丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯酸乙酯、甲基丙烯酸乙酯、丙烯酸正丁酯、丙烯酸2-乙基己基酯、甲基丙烯酸正丁酯、甲基丙烯酸2-乙基己基酯,还有马来酸、马来酸酐和衣康酸酐。聚乙烯可以是HDPE或LDPE。
在本发明上下文中,聚丙烯不仅应理解为指均聚均聚丙烯,而且指包含至少50mol%共聚丙烯和至多50mol%至少一种其他共聚单体的丙烯共聚物,其他共聚单体例如乙烯和α-烯烃如丁烯、1-己烯、1-辛烯、1-癸烯、1-十二碳烯和1-戊烯。聚丙烯优选为全同立构或基本全同立构聚丙烯。
在本发明上下文中,聚苯乙烯不仅理解为指苯乙烯均聚物,而且指与1-己烯、1-辛烯、1-癸烯、1-十二碳烯、1-戊烯、1,3-丁二烯、(甲基)丙烯酸、(甲基)丙烯酸的C1-C10烷基酯、二乙烯基苯,尤其是1,3-二乙烯基苯,1,2-二苯基乙烯和α-甲基苯乙烯的共聚物。
另一优选的粘合剂(d)为聚丁二烯。
其他合适的粘合剂(d)选自聚氧乙烯(PEO)、纤维素、羧甲基纤维素、聚酰亚胺和聚乙烯醇。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,粘合剂(d)选自平均分子量Mw为50,000-1,000,000g/mol,优选50,000-500,000g/mol的那些(共)聚合物。
粘合剂(d)可以是交联或未交联的(共)聚合物。

合适的粘合剂(d)尤其是聚乙烯醇和卤代(共)聚合物,例如聚氯乙烯或聚偏二氯乙烯,尤其是氟代(共)聚合物如聚氟乙烯以及尤其是聚偏二氟乙烯和聚四氟乙烯。
本发明阴极相对于组分(a)、组分(b)和碳(c)的总和可以包含1-15重量%粘合剂(d)。在其他实施方案中,本发明阴极可以包含0.1重量%至小于1重量%的粘合剂(d)。
本发明的另一方面是一种电池组,含有:
(A)至少一个包含组分(a)、组分(b)、碳(c)和粘合剂(d)的阴极,
(B)至少一个阳极,和
(C)至少一种电解质。
阴极(A)的实施方案上面已经详细说明。
阳极(B)可以含有至少一种阳极活性材料,如碳(石墨)、TiO2、锂钛氧化物、硅或锡。阳极(B)额外可以含有集电器,例如金属箔如铜箔。
电解质(C)可以包含至少一种非水溶剂、至少一种电解质盐和任选添加剂。
电解质(C)的非水溶剂在室温下可以为液体或固体且优选选自聚合物、环状或无环醚类、环状和无环缩醛以及环状或无环有机碳酸酯。
合适聚合物的实例尤其是聚亚烷基二醇,优选聚-C1-C4亚烷基二醇,尤其是聚乙二醇。聚乙二醇在这里可以包含至多20mol%的一种或多种C1-C4亚烷基二醇。聚亚烷基二醇优选为具有两个甲基或乙基端基的聚亚烷基二醇。
合适聚亚烷基二醇以及尤其是合适聚乙二醇的分子量Mw可以为至少400g/mol。
合适聚亚烷基二醇以及尤其是合适聚乙二醇的分子量Mw可以为至多5000000g/mol,优选至多2000000g/mol。
合适无环醚类的实例例如为二异丙基醚、二正丁基醚、1,2-二甲氧基乙烷、1,2-二乙氧基乙烷,优选1,2-二甲氧基乙烷。
合适环状醚类的实例为四氢呋喃和1,4-二烷。
合适无环缩醛的实例例如为二甲氧基甲烷、二乙氧基甲烷、1,1-二甲氧基乙烷和1,1-二乙氧基乙烷。
合适环状缩醛的实例为1,3-二烷以及尤其是1,3-二氧戊环。
合适无环有机碳酸酯的实例是碳酸二甲酯、碳酸乙基·甲基酯和碳酸二乙酯。
合适环状有机碳酸酯的实例是通式(III)和(IV)的化合物:
其中R1、R2和R3可以相同或不同且选自氢和C1-C4烷基,例如甲基、乙基、正丙基、异丙基、正丁基、异丁基、仲丁基和叔丁基,其中R2和R3优选不同时为叔丁基。
在特别优选的实施方案中,R1为甲基且R2和R3各自为氢,或者R1、R2和R3各自为氢。
另一优选的环状有机碳酸酯是式(V)的碳酸亚乙烯基酯:
该一种或多种溶剂优选以无水状态使用,即水含量为1ppm至0.1重量%,这例如可以通过Karl Fischer滴定测定。
电解质(C)进一步包含至少一种电解质盐。合适的电解质盐尤其为锂盐。合适锂盐的实例是LiPF6,LiBF4,LiClO4,LiAsF6,LiCF3SO3,LiC(CnF2n+1SO2)3,亚氨基锂如LiN(CnF2n+ 1SO2)2,其中n为1-20的整数,LiN(SO2F)2,Li2SiF6,LiSbF6,LiAlCl4以及通式通式(CnF2n+ 1SO2)tYLi的盐,其中t定义如下:
当X选自氧和硫时,t=1;
当X选自氮和磷时,t=2;且
当X选自碳和硅时,t=3。
优选的电解质盐选自LiC(CF3SO2)3,LiN(CF3SO2)2,LiPF6,LiBF4,LiClO4,特别优选LiPF6和LiN(CF3SO2)2。
在本发明的实施方案中,本发明电池组包括一个或多个隔片(D),电极借助隔片机械分隔。合适的隔片(D)是对金属锂没有反应性的聚合物薄膜,尤其是多孔聚合物薄膜。特别适合隔片(D)的材料是聚烯烃,尤其是成膜性多孔聚乙烯和成膜性多孔聚丙烯。
由聚烯烃,尤其是聚乙烯或聚丙烯构成的隔片(D)可以具有35-45%的孔隙率。合适的孔径例如为30-500nm。
在本发明的另一实施方案中,隔片(D)可以选自填充有无机颗粒的PET非织造织物。该类隔片可以具有的孔隙率为40-55%。合适的孔径例如为80-750nm。
本发明电池组可以进一步包括可以具有任何形状,例如立方形或圆柱盘或圆柱罐形状的外壳。在一个方案中,将构造成袋的金属箔用作外壳。
本发明电池组提供非常好的放电和循环行为,尤其是在高温(45℃或更高,例如至多60℃)下,尤其就容量损失而言。
本发明电池组可以包括两个或更多个相互组合的电化学电池,例如可以串联连接或并联连接。优选串联连接。在本发明电池组中,至少一个电化学电池含有至少一个本发明阴极。优选在本发明电化学电池中,大部分电化学电池含有本发明阴极。甚至更优选在本发明电池组中所有电化学电池含有本发明阴极。
本发明进一步提供了本发明电池组在设备,尤其是在移动设备中的用途。移动设备的实例是机动车辆,例如汽车,自行车,飞机,或水上交通工具如船或艇。移动设备的其他实例为便携式的那些,例如计算机,尤其是笔记本电脑、电话机或电动工具,例如建筑领域的电动工具,尤其是钻机、电池组驱动的螺丝刀或电池组驱动的敲钉器。
实施例
通用说明:%涉及重量%,除非另有明确说明。
混合过渡金属氧化物/氢氧化物前体为氢氧化物如已经在空气下干燥数小时的Ni0.33Co0.33Mn0.33(OH)2。在干燥过程中,一些过渡金属被氧化并且一些抗衡离子为氧化物而不是氢氧化物。在下列实施例中,前体表示为氢氧化物而不管该氧化。
Nm3涉及在正常条件(环境温度/1巴)下的m3。
LiOH以LiOH·H2O使用。该实施例中的量涉及没有水的LiOH。
I.合成阴极活性材料
I.1合成化合物(I)
I.1.1合成化合物(I.1)
将前体Ni0.33Co0.33Mn0.33(OH)2—平均粒径为10μm的球形颗粒—与精细研磨的Li2CO3混合。锂(Li2CO3)与Ni0.33Co0.33Mn0.33(OH)2中过渡金属的总和的摩尔比为1.11。将40g如此得到的混合物在位于由烧结氧化铝制成的窑具中的箱式窑中煅烧。煅烧在空气下进行,加热速率为3K/min。煅烧温度程序如下:加热至350℃,在350℃下保持4小时,加热至675℃,在675℃下保持4小时,加热至900℃,在900℃下保持6小时,然后冷却至室温。
在冷却之后,将如此得到的式(I.1)化合物Li1.06[Ni0.33Co0.33Mn0.33]0.94O2(I.1)在研钵中研磨。将研磨过的化合物(I.1)用具有32μm网眼尺寸的筛子过筛。收集30g化合物(I.1)的直径小于32μm的颗粒。
I.1.2合成化合物(I.2)
将前体Ni0.4Co0.2Mn0.4(OH)2—平均粒径为10μm的球形颗粒—与精细研磨的Li2CO3混合。锂(Li2CO3)与Ni0.4Co0.2Mn0.4(OH)2中过渡金属的总和的摩尔比为1.13。将40g如此得到的在位于由烧结氧化铝制成的窑具中的箱式窑中煅烧。煅烧在空气下进行,加热速率为3K/min。煅烧温度程序如下:加热至350℃,在350℃下保持4小时,加热至675℃,在675℃下保持4小时,加热至925℃,在925℃下保持6小时,然后冷却至室温。
在冷却之后,将如此得到的式(I.2)化合物Li1.07[Ni0.4Co0.2Mn0.4]0.93O2(I.2)在研钵中研磨。将研磨过的化合物(I.2)用具有32μm网眼尺寸的筛子过筛。收集30g化合物(I.2)的直径小于32μm的颗粒。
I.2合成式(II)的组分
I.2.1合成化合物(II.1)
使用下列成分:
向装有混合器和加热器的6升反应器中加入4,600g H2O。将该水加热至76℃的温度。然后开始加入各成分。首先加入LiOH并在20分钟内溶解。由于放热反应,溶液温度升至80.5℃。然后加入α-FeOOH并再搅拌20分钟。然后加入H3PO4和H3PO3。20分钟后以粉末形式加入淀粉和乳糖。如此得到的黄色淤浆的温度为87℃。然后加入500g H2O。将如此得到的淤浆在85℃下搅拌21小时。
然后通过喷雾干燥将该固体分离。在上一步骤中制备悬浮液使用N2(25Nm3/h)作为干燥气体喷雾干燥,应用下列喷雾干燥参数:
T入295℃-298℃
T出135℃-143℃
淤浆进料:724.1g/h
在喷雾干燥之后,得到122g黄色喷雾粉末。
将60g上面所得喷雾粉末在旋转石英球炉中煅烧。该旋转球炉以10rpm的速度旋转。以11.33℃/min的加热速率将喷雾粉末样品从环境温度加热至700℃的温度。最后将该材料在N2气流(16NL/h)下在700℃的温度下煅烧1小时。然后将如此得到的黑色材料(化合物(I.1))冷却至室温。
将具有化学计量LiFePO4·0.023Li3PO4的化合物(II.1)筛分至<50μm。它含有约3.6重量%碳。Li3PO4位于LiFePO4的初级颗粒的晶界处。
I.2.2合成用于对比目的的磷酸铁锂
使用下列成分:
75.6g LiOH(3.16mol)
280.8gα-FeOOH(3.16mol)
182.2g H3PO4的85重量%水溶液(1.58mol)
134.2g H3PO3(98%)
46.6g淀粉
46.6g乳糖
向装有混合器和加热器的6升反应器中加入4,600g H2O。将该水加热至76℃的温度。然后开始加入各成分。首先加入LiOH并在20分钟内溶解。由于放热反应,溶液温度升至80.5℃。然后加入α-FeOOH并再搅拌20分钟。然后加入H3PO4和H3PO3。20分钟后以粉末形式加入淀粉和乳糖。如此得到的黄色淤浆的温度为87℃。然后加入500g H2O。将如此得到的淤浆在85℃下搅拌21小时。
然后通过喷雾干燥将该固体分离。在上一步骤中制备悬浮液使用N2(25Nm3/h)作为干燥气体喷雾干燥,应用下列喷雾干燥参数:

II.制造本发明阴极和电池组以及对比阴极和电池组
II.1制造本发明阴极和电池组
制备化合物(a)和(b)的四种混合物:
在球磨机中将重量为80g的化合物(I.1)与20g化合物(II.1)共混而得到本发明阴极活性材料CAM.1。
在球磨机中重量为80g的化合物(I.1)与20g对比化合物C-(II.2)共混而得到对比阴极活性材料C-CAM.2。
在球磨机中重量为80g的化合物(I.2)与20g化合物(II.1)共混而得到本发明阴极活性材料CAM.3。
在球磨机中重量为80g的化合物(I.2)与20g对比化合物C-(II.2)共混而得到对比阴极活性材料C-CAM.4。
燃料电池生产:
为了生产阴极(A.1),将下列成分相互共混:
93g CAM.1
3g聚偏二氟乙烯(d.1)(“PVdF”),作为Kynar2801由Arkema Group市购,
2.5g碳黑(c.1),BET表面积为62m2/g,作为“Super C 65L”由Timcal市购,
1.5g石墨(c.2),作为KS6由Timcal市购。
在搅拌的同时加入足够量的N-甲基吡咯烷酮(NMP)并将该混合物用Ultraturrax搅拌,直到得到坚硬的无团块糊。
按如下制备阴极:用15μm刮刀将该糊施加于30μm厚的铝箔上。干燥之后的负载为2.0mAh/cm2。将该负载的箔在真空烘箱中于105℃干燥16小时。在通风橱中冷却至室温之后,从该箔冲压出片状阴极。然后称重阴极片并将其引入氩气手套箱中,在那里将它们再次真空干燥。然后用制备的片组装电化学电池。
电化学测试在“TC2”电池中进行。所用电解质(C.1)为LiPF6在碳酸乙基·甲基酯/碳酸亚乙酯(体积比1:1)中的1M溶液。隔片(D.1):玻璃纤维。阳极(B.1):石墨。该电池的电势范围:2.70-4.2V。
得到本发明电化学电池(BAT.1)。
II.2制造本发明阴极和电化学电池以及对比阴极和电化学电池
为了对比目的,重复上述试验,但本发明(CAM.1)被等量的C-CAM.2替换。
得到对比电化学电池C-(BAT.2)。
当重复上述试验但将本发明(CAM.1)用等量的CAM.3替换时,得到本发明电化学电池(BAT.3)。
当重复上述试验但将本发明(CAM.1)用等量的C-CAM.4替换时,得到本发明电化学电池(BAT.4)。
III.测试电化学电池
本发明电化学电池和对比电化学电池各自进行下列循环程序:电池的电势范围:2.70-4.2V,0.1C(第一和第二循环),0.5C(从第三循环开始)。1C=150mA/g。温度:60℃。
根据表1在全电池中的容量损失按如下计算:在60个循环之后和在2个循环之后平均容量之差除以在60个循环之后的平均容量乘以100得到电容损失(“衰退”)。

Claims (22)

(a)至少一种通式(I)的组分A:
Li(1+x)[NiaCobMncM1 d](1-x)O2 (I)
其中各指数如下所定义:
x为0.01-0.07,
a为0.3-0.6,
b为0-0.35,
c为0.2-0.6,
d为0-0.05,
a+b+c+d=1,
M1为至少一种选自Ca、Zn、Fe、Ti、Ba、Al的金属,
(b)至少一种通式(II)的组分B:
LiFe(1-y)M2 yPO4·m磷酸锂 (II)
其中y为0-0.8,
M2为至少一种选自Co、Mn、Ni、V、Mg、Nd、Zn和Y的元素,
m选自0.01-0.15,
(c)呈导电晶型的碳,
其中组分A与组分B的重量比为30:70-97.5:2.5。
2.根据权利要求1的电极材料,其中组分A与组分B的重量比为80:20-95:5。
3.根据权利要求1的电极材料,其中组分A与组分B的重量比为80:20-85:15。
4.根据权利要求1的电极材料,其中碳的量相对于组分B为2-8重量%。

18.根据权利要求14的电极材料,其中组分A为梯度材料。
19.根据权利要求15的电极材料,其中组分A为梯度材料。
20.阴极,包含至少一种根据权利要求1-19中任一项的电极材料和至少一种粘合剂(d)。
21.电池组,含有:
(A)至少一个根据权利要求20的阴极,
(B)至少一个阳极,和
(C)至少一种电解质。
22.根据权利要求21的电池组在汽车中的用途。
