技术领域
本发明涉及能螯合钙离子且部分来源于可再生碳水化合物原料的组合物。所述钙螯合组合物包含一种或多种羟基羧酸盐、一种或多种适合的含氧酸阴离子盐以及一种或多种柠檬酸盐,该羟基羧酸盐包括羟基单羧酸和羟基二羧酸。
发明背景
羟基羧酸和羟基羧酸盐被描述为能螯合溶液中的金属离子的螯合剂(Mehltretter,1953;Abbadi,1999)。相比常见的螯合剂,如三聚磷酸钠(STPP)、乙二胺四乙酸盐(EDTA)或次氮基三乙酸盐(NTA),羟基羧酸盐作为诸如钙和镁的金属离子的螯合剂通常表现不佳。尽管具有低螯合能力,羟基羧酸盐仍能够引起人们关注,这是因为它们通常为生物可降解的、无毒的,且来源于诸如碳水化合物的可再生资源。因此,利用羟基羧酸盐作为STPP和EDTA的替代螯合剂是有利的,尤其是化合物可能被排放到环境中的应用的情况下。通过加入适合的含氧酸阴离子化合物,如硼酸盐和铝酸盐,可以提升羟基羧酸盐作为硬水离子的螯合剂的性能。性能的提升源于羟基羧酸盐和硼酸盐或铝酸盐的两个临近的羟基间的二酯复合物的形成,如van Duin等所述(Carb.Res.1987,162,65-78and J.Chem.Soc.Dalton Trans.1987,8,2051-2057)。van Duin等的工作表明二酯复合物形成伴随含有优选以苏式构型存在的两个邻位羟基的化合物发生。该复合物的稳定性取决于pH值,在较高的pH值下稳定性提高。羟基羧酸的盐和硼酸钠或铝酸钠间形成的复合物被描述为用于洗涤剂应用的钙螯合剂(Hessen,美国专利4,000,083;Tumerman,美国专利3,798,168;以及Miralles等,美国专利8,153,573)。因此,公知聚羟基羧酸的盐和诸如铝酸钠和硼酸钠的适合的含氧酸阴离子盐间形成的复合物作为用于诸如洗涤剂的应用中的二价金属离子螯合剂是有用的。令人吃惊的是,我们发现通过加入诸如柠檬酸盐的某些螯合剂可以提高聚羟基羧酸盐与适合的含氧酸阴离子盐之间形成的复合物的钙螯合性能。鉴于van Duin等描述通过加入铝酸钠或硼酸钠,柠檬酸盐的性能没有得到提高(Carb.Res.1987,162,65-78),我们的发现是令人预料不到的。
许多传统上被用作金属螯合剂的化合物是基于磷的。根据环境法规,在该材料被排放到地表水中的应用中磷化合物的使用依旧受到限制。这些法规促进了对可用作多种应用的金属螯合剂的环境可接受材料的需求。
其中金属螯合剂有用的一种应用为在洗涤剂配方中。洗涤剂是主要由表面活性剂、助洗剂、漂白剂、酶和填料组成的清洁混合物。两种主要成分为表面活性剂和助洗剂。表面活性剂负责乳化油和油脂,而助剂被加入来拓展或提高表面活性剂的清洁性能。助洗剂可以为单一物质或物质的混合物,且通常发挥多种功能。一种重要的助洗剂功能为螯合金属阳离子,通常是硬水中的钙和镁阳离子。助剂通过螯合钙和镁阳离子从而阻止诸如表面活性剂和碳酸盐的洗涤溶液中的阳离子和阴离子成分间形成水不溶性盐而充当水软化剂。至于洗衣洗涤剂,助剂还有助于防止阳离子结合棉——棉织品上灰垢保持的主要原因。助剂的其他功能包括增加洗涤剂溶液的碱度、反表面活性剂微胶粒絮凝以及抑制腐蚀。
首次用于商业洗涤剂的助剂为磷酸盐和磷酸盐衍生物。三聚磷酸钠(STPP)一度为消费洗涤剂和工业洗涤剂中最常见的助洗剂。磷酸盐助剂还被兜售为洗衣机和洗碗机的金属表面的腐蚀抑制剂。磷酸盐在过去40年间已经被逐步淘汰出洗涤剂,这主要是由于有关排放富含磷酸盐的废水到地表水中引起的富营养化和最终的缺氧的环境问题(Lowe,1978)。现在依然在寻找洗涤剂中的磷酸盐的高性能替代物。
用于车辆护理、食品和饮料(例如,奶制品、奶酪、糖、肉、食物和啤酒厂及其他饮料行业)、器皿洗涤和洗衣行业的常规洗涤剂包括碱性洗涤剂。碱性洗涤剂,尤其是用于机构和商业使用的碱性洗涤剂,通常含有磷酸盐、次氮基三乙酸(NTA)和乙二胺四乙酸(EDTA)。磷酸盐、NTA和EDTA为通常被用于洗涤剂的组分,来帮助去污和螯合诸如钙、镁和铁的金属离子。
具体来说,由于能够目前已存在的无机盐和/或污物溶解,NTA、EDTA或诸如三聚磷酸钠的聚磷酸盐以及它们的盐被用于洗涤剂中。当钙盐、镁盐和铁盐沉淀时,晶体可能会附着到清洁过的表面上并造成不良影响。例如,器皿表面上的碳酸钙沉淀可以对器皿的式样美观造成不利影响并产生不清洁的外观。在洗涤领域,如果碳酸钙沉淀并附着在织物的表面上,晶体可以使织物感觉起来较硬且摸起来较粗糙。在食品和饮料行业,碳酸钙残留物可以影响食物的酸度水平。通过防止硬度沉淀,NTA、EDTA和聚磷酸盐去除金属离子的能力可促进溶液的去垢力,帮助去污和/或防止污物再沉积到洗涤液或洗涤水内。
虽然有效,由于环境和健康问题,磷酸盐和NTA受到政府管制。尽管EDTA当前未受管制,据信由于环境持续性可能实施政府管制。因此本领域需要可供选择的,且优选环境友好的清洁组合物,其可以替代诸如磷酸盐、膦酸盐、亚膦酸盐和丙酸次磷酸盐聚合物以及诸如NTA和EDTA的非氨基羧酸盐的含磷化合物的性能。
发明概述
本发明提供了钙螯合组合物,其包含:选自至少一种羟基单羧酸盐、至少一种羟基二羧酸盐的至少一种羟基羧酸的盐的组合,至少一种羟基单羧酸盐和至少一种羟基二羧酸盐的组合,至少一种适合的含氧酸阴离子盐(诸如,例如硼酸盐或铝酸盐)以及至少一种柠檬酸盐。通常,羟基单羧酸盐可以包括至少一种乙醇酸的盐、至少一种葡萄糖酸的盐和至少一种5-酮-葡萄糖酸的盐。在一个实施方案中,所述至少一种乙醇酸的盐包括乙醇酸钠、乙醇酸钾、乙醇酸锂、乙醇酸锌、乙醇酸铵或以上的混合物。在另一个实施方案中,所述至少一种葡萄糖酸的盐可以包括葡萄糖酸钠、葡萄糖酸钾、葡萄糖酸锂、葡萄糖酸锌、葡萄糖酸铵或以上的混合物。在另外的实施方案中,所述至少一种5-酮-葡萄糖酸的盐包括5-酮-葡萄糖酸钠、5-酮-葡萄糖酸钾、5-酮-葡萄糖酸锂、5-酮-葡萄糖酸锌、5-酮-葡萄糖酸铵或以上的混合物。
另外,羟基二羧酸盐通常可以包括至少一种葡萄糖二酸的盐、至少一种酒石酸的盐、至少一种丙醇二酸的盐、至少一种木糖二酸的盐、至少一种半乳糖二酸的盐或以上的混合物。在一个实施方案中,所述至少一种葡萄糖二酸的盐包括葡萄糖二酸二钠、葡萄糖二酸钾钠、葡萄糖二酸二钾、葡萄糖二酸锌、葡萄糖二酸二铵、葡萄糖二酸二锂、葡萄糖二酸钠锂、葡萄糖二酸钾锂或以上的混合物。在另一个实施方案中,所述至少一种酒石酸的盐包括酒石酸二钠、酒石酸钾钠、酒石酸二钾、酒石酸二锂、酒石酸钠锂、酒石酸钾锂、酒石酸锌、酒石酸二铵或以上的混合物。在另一个实施方案中,所述至少一种丙醇二酸的盐包括丙醇二酸二钠、丙醇二酸钾钠、丙醇二酸二钾、丙醇二酸二锂、丙醇二酸钠锂、丙醇二酸钾锂、丙醇二酸锌、丙醇二酸二铵或以上的混合物。
公认的是,至少一种羟基羧酸的盐选自至少一种羟基单羧酸盐、至少一种羟基二羧酸盐,至少一种羟基单羧酸盐和至少一种羟基二羧酸盐的组合,该至少一种羟基羧酸的盐可以包括至少一种葡萄糖二酸盐、至少一种葡萄糖酸盐、至少一种5-酮-葡萄糖酸盐、至少一种酒石酸盐、至少一种丙醇二酸盐和至少一种乙醇酸盐的混合物。在一个实施方案中,羟基羧酸的混合物可以包含约30%至约75%的至少一种葡萄糖二酸盐、约0%至约20%的至少一种葡萄糖酸盐、约0%至约10%的至少一种5-酮-葡萄糖酸盐、约0%至约10%的至少一种酒石酸盐、约0%至约10%的至少一种丙醇二酸盐和约0%至约10%的至少一种乙醇酸盐。该混合物包含约40%至约60%的至少一种葡萄糖二酸盐、约5%至约15%的至少一种葡萄糖酸盐、约3%至约9%的至少一种5-酮-葡萄糖酸盐、约5%至约10%的至少一种酒石酸盐、约5%至约10%的至少一种丙醇二酸盐和约1%至约5%的至少一种乙醇酸盐。在另一个实施方案中,该混合物包含约45%至约55%的至少一种葡萄糖二酸盐、约10%至约15%的至少一种葡萄糖酸盐、约4%至约6%的至少一种5-酮-葡萄糖酸盐、约5%至约7%的至少一种酒石酸盐、约5%至约7%的至少一种丙醇二酸盐和约3%至约5%的至少一种乙醇酸盐。在另一个实施方案中,该混合物包含约50%的至少一种葡萄糖二酸盐、约15%的至少一种葡萄糖酸盐、约4%的至少一种5-酮-葡萄糖酸盐、约6%的至少一种酒石酸盐、约6%的至少一种丙醇二酸盐和约5%的至少一种乙醇酸盐。
钙螯合组合物通常包含约25重量%至约75重量%的至少一种羟基羧酸的盐、约1重量%至约50重量%的至少一种柠檬酸盐和约1重量%至约50重量%的至少一种适合的含氧酸阴离子盐。在一个实施方案中,该组合物包含约40重量%至约60重量%的至少一种羟基羧酸的盐、约10重量%至约35重量%的至少一种柠檬酸盐和约10重量%至约35重量%的至少一种适合的含氧酸阴离子盐。在另外的实施方案中,该组合物包含约50重量%的至少一种羟基羧酸的盐、约20重量%的至少一种适合的含氧酸阴离子盐和约30重量%的至少一种柠檬酸盐。
含氧酸阴离子的适合的盐包括硼酸盐、铝酸盐、锡酸盐、锗酸盐、钼酸盐、锑酸盐的钠盐和钾盐或以上的混合物。另外公认所述至少一种钙螯合组合物的铝盐可以包括铝酸钠、氯化铝或以上的混合物。所述至少一种柠檬酸盐可以包括柠檬酸钠、柠檬酸钾、柠檬酸钙、柠檬酸镁或以上的混合物。
在另一方面,本发明提供了从介质螯合钙离子的方法,包括施用具有以下的组合的组合物:选自至少一种羟基单羧酸盐、至少一种羟基二羧酸盐的至少一种羟基羧酸的盐,以及至少一种羟基单羧酸盐和至少一种羟基二羧酸盐的组合、至少一种适合的含氧酸阴离子盐以及至少一种柠檬酸盐。所述至少一种羟基羧酸的盐可以包括葡萄糖二酸的盐、葡萄糖酸的盐、5-酮-葡萄糖酸的盐、酒石酸的盐、丙醇二酸的盐、乙醇酸的盐、甘油酸的盐、木糖二酸的盐、半乳糖二酸的盐或以上的混合物。另外,所述至少一种羟基羧酸的盐可以包括至少一种葡萄糖二酸盐、至少一种葡萄糖酸盐、至少一种5-酮-葡萄糖酸盐、至少一种酒石酸盐、至少一种丙醇二酸盐和至少一种乙醇酸盐的混合物。适合的含氧酸阴离子的盐包括硼酸盐、铝酸盐、锡酸盐、锗酸盐、钼酸盐、锑酸盐的钠盐和钾盐或以上的混合物。另外,所述至少一种铝盐可以包括铝酸钠、氯化铝或以上的混合物。所述至少一种柠檬酸盐可以包括柠檬酸钠、柠檬酸钾、柠檬酸钙、柠檬酸镁或以上的混合物。
在另一方面,本发明提供了洗涤剂组合物,其包含选自至少一种羟基单羧酸盐、至少一种羟基二羧酸盐以及至少一种羟基单羧酸盐和至少一种羟基二羧酸盐的组合的至少一种羟基羧酸的盐、至少一种含氧酸阴离子盐以及至少一种柠檬酸盐的钙螯合组合物。该洗涤剂组合物可以进一步包含一种或多种另外的功能性材料,诸如,例如,漂洗助剂、漂白剂、消毒剂/抗微生物剂、活化剂、洗涤剂助剂或填料、pH缓冲剂、织物松弛剂、织物软化剂、去污剂、消泡剂、抗再沉积剂、稳定剂、分散剂、光增白剂、抗静电剂、抗皱纹剂、气味俘获剂、纤维保护剂、护色剂、染料/增味剂、UV防护剂、抗起球剂、防水剂、硬化剂/溶解度改性剂、玻璃和金属腐蚀抑制剂、酶、除垢剂、氧化剂、溶剂和驱虫剂。
发明的详细描述
本发明描述了包含羟基羧酸盐、至少一种适合的含氧酸阴离子盐和至少一种柠檬酸盐的混合物的新颖的钙螯合组合物。羟基羧酸为包含一个或多个羟基以及一个或多个羧酸官能度的化合物。可以将羟基单羧酸定义为仅具有一个羧基的化合物。可以将羟基二羧酸定义为具有两个羧基的化合物。当与适合的含氧酸阴离子盐组合时,这些化合物的羟基能形成金属离子螯合复合物。与通常单独地与许多金属离子形成水不溶性盐的羟基羧酸相反,已经表明这些复合物可与诸如钙和镁的金属离子形成稳定、水溶性复合物,从而提供金属螯合性能。

本领域技术人员应当理解本发明的钙螯合组合物中可以包含其他的添加剂,只要该添加剂不不利地影响钙螯合组合物螯合金属离子的能力。典型的添加剂可以包括,但不限于有机洗涤剂、清洁剂、漂洗助剂、漂白剂、消毒剂/抗微生物剂、活化剂、洗涤剂助剂或填料、消泡剂、抗再沉积剂、光增白剂、染料/增味剂、另外的硬化/溶解度改性剂、表面活性剂或任何其他的能改变钙螯合组合物的性能的天然或合成剂。
可以将本发明的钙螯合组合物用于需要螯合或捕捉金属离子的任何应用中。可能利用本发明的组合物的工业应用的适合的实例包括但不限于用于工业用水处理目的和用作乙二胺四乙酸(EDTA)、次氮基三乙酸(NTA)、三聚磷酸钠(STPP)和其他常用的螯合剂的可再生替代物的洗涤剂助洗剂、除垢剂。
可以按照本领域当前已知的任何方法制造本发明的羟基羧酸。制备常见的羟基羧酸或其盐的当前采用的商业方法主要为生物诱导的转化或发酵,例如在酒石酸(第2,314,831号美国专利)和葡萄糖酸(第5,017,485号美国专利)的制备中。也存在用于氧化的化学方法,尽管它们不如在商业生产中那么普及。适合多元醇原料的一些化学氧化方法包括:在金属催化剂上用氧气氧化(第2,472,168号美国专利)和用诸如TEMPO的四烷基硝酰基化合物介导的氧化(第6,498,269号美国专利)。其他的方法在水溶液中采用硝酸作为氧化剂,并且已有描述(Kiely,第7,692,041号美国专利)。技术人员应当理解可以将本文中描述的任何方法以及这些方法的任何组合用来获得羟基羧酸。
诸如葡萄糖的多元醇原料的氧化通常会制造出氧化产物的混合物。例如,通过以上列出的任何方法进行的葡萄糖的氧化会制造出葡萄糖二酸以及其他氧化产物,包括葡萄糖酸、葡萄糖二酸、酒石酸、丙醇二酸和乙醇酸,所有这些物质都是羟基羧酸,且都在本发明的范围内。通过这些氧化方法制造出的一种普遍存在的羟基羧酸包括葡萄糖二酸。本领域内已知可以通过用诸如氢氧化钾的碱性化合物滴定,从其他羟基羧酸的混合物中选择性分离出盐形式的葡萄糖二酸产物,并随后将其用作本发明的钙螯合组合物的羟基羧酸组分。可以将此类包含葡萄糖二酸作为羟基羧酸、从其余的羟基羧酸中分离出来的、通过氧化方法制得的组合物称为“提纯的”葡萄糖二酸组合物。可选地,可以将通过氧化葡萄糖制得的羟基羧酸的混合物用作本发明的组合物的羟基羧酸组分,而不需要分离出葡萄糖二酸组分。此类混合物被称为“未提纯的”葡萄糖二酸组合物。因此,未提纯的葡萄糖二酸组合物包含通过氧化供给原料制得的一种或多种羟基羧酸的混合物,且可以包括葡萄糖酸、5-酮-葡萄糖酸、葡萄糖二酸、酒石酸、丙醇二酸和乙醇酸。使用未提纯的葡萄糖二酸混合物作为当前组合物的羟基羧酸组分提供了超过本领域的多种优势,包括由于处理步骤数目减少以及产品产量增加产生的成本效益。
本发明还包括从具有不同pH值水平的不同的介质螯合钙的方法。技术人员应当理解可以用本发明的钙螯合组合物处理任何介质,包括但不限于液体、凝胶、半固体和固体。通常,由于至少一种羟基羧酸和至少一种含氧酸阴离子盐可形成适合螯合金属离子的复合物这一事实,本发明的组合物是有效的。羟基羧酸盐/含氧酸阴离子复合物的形成取决于pH值,以便该复合物可随pH值增加而更容易形成,且钙螯合通常随pH值增加而改进。另外,由于该化合物的结构特征,葡萄糖二酸被认为可提供螯合钙离子的最佳选择。此外,柠檬酸盐能从多种媒介中螯合金属离子;然而,在含氧酸阴离子存在下,柠檬酸的螯合能力不能如使用葡萄糖二酸观察到的那样得到提高,可能是由于其仅具有一个羟基且不能形成二酯复合物这一事实。令人吃惊的是,发现一种或多种羟基羧酸盐、一种或多种适合的含氧酸阴离子盐和一种或多种柠檬酸盐的组合可协同地结合金属离子。具体而言,本发明的钙螯合组合物可以以这样的程度结合钙离子,其显著大于如果羟基羧酸盐/铝酸盐的螯合能力和该柠檬酸盐的螯合能力仅为添加性时所预测的程度。
应当注意可以将本发明的钙螯合组合物用来从具有多种pH值水平的介质中螯合钙离子。通常,可以将该组合物用来从具有约6至约14的pH值的介质中螯合钙离子。在一个实施方案中,本发明提供了从具有约8.5至约11.5的pH值的介质中螯合钙离子的方法,包括施用包含以下的组合的组合物:至少一种羟基羧酸的盐、至少一种适合的含氧酸阴离子盐和至少一种适合的柠檬酸盐。所述至少一种羟基羧酸的盐可以包括葡萄糖二酸的盐、葡萄糖酸的盐、5-酮-葡萄糖酸的盐、酒石酸的盐、丙醇二酸的盐、乙醇酸的盐、木糖二酸的盐、半乳糖二酸的盐和以上的组合。在一个实施方案中,所述至少一种羟基羧酸的盐可以包括至少一种葡萄糖二酸盐、至少一种葡萄糖酸盐、至少一种5-酮-葡萄糖酸盐、至少一种酒石酸盐、至少一种乙醇酸盐和至少一种丙醇二酸盐的混合物。

功能性材料可以为增亮或增白基质的漂白剂,且可以包括能在冲洗过程中通常会遇到的条件下释放诸如Cl2、Br2、-OCl-和/或-OBr-等的活性卤素种类的漂白化合物。适合的漂白剂的实例包括但不限于:含氯化合物,如氯气、次氯酸盐或氯胺。适合的释放卤素的化合物的实例包括但不限于:碱金属二氯异氰尿酸盐、碱金属次氯酸盐、单氯胺和二氯胺。还可以使用封装的氯源来提高组合物中的氯源的稳定性。漂白剂还可以包括含有或用作活性氧源的制剂。活性氧化合物用来提供活性氧源且可以在水溶液中释放活性氧。活性氧化合物可以为无机的、有机的或以上的混合。适合的活性氧化合物的实例包括但不限于:含有和不含有诸如四乙酰基乙二胺的活化剂的过氧化合物、过氧化合物加合物、过氧化氢、过硼酸盐、碳酸钠过氧水合物、磷酸盐过氧水合物、过一硫酸氢钾和一水过硼酸钠和四水过硼酸钠。
功能性材料可以为卫生消毒剂(或抗微生物剂)。卫生消毒剂,也称为抗微生物剂,为可以被用来防止微生物污染和材料系统、表面等变质的化学组合物。通常,这些材料归于具体类型中,包括酚醛、卤素化合物、季铵化合物、金属衍生物、胺类、烷醇胺、硝基衍生物、酰苯胺、有机硫和硫氮化合物以及混杂化合物。

还应当理解活性氧化合物,诸如在上述漂白剂部分论述过的那些活性氧化合物,也可以用作抗微生物剂,并且甚至可以提供消毒活性。事实上,在一些实施方案中,活性氧化合物用作抗微生物剂的能力减少了对组合物内的另外的抗微生物剂的需求。例如,过碳酸盐组合物被证明可提供优良的抗微生物活性。

可以配制洗涤剂组合物以便用于在含水操作期间,例如在水洗操作中,使洗涤水具有期望的pH值。例如,组合物可以被配制设计用于提供预浸组合物,以便在用于水洗操作期间,洗涤水具有约6.5至约12的pH值,并且在一些实施方案中,具有约7.5至约11的pH值。在一些实施方案中,液体产品制剂具有(10%稀释)约7.5至约11.0的pH值,并且在一些实施方案中,具有约7.5至约9.0的pH值。

功能性材料可以为用于降低气泡稳定性的消泡剂。适合的消泡剂的实例包括但不限于:诸如散布在聚二甲基硅氧烷中的二氧化硅的硅胶化合物、脂肪酰胺、烃蜡、脂肪酸、脂肪酸酯、脂肪醇、脂肪酸皂、乙氧基化物、矿物油、聚乙二醇酯和诸如单硬脂酰磷酸酯的烷基磷酸酯。

功能性材料可以为光增白剂,也称为荧光增白剂或荧光增白剂,并可以为置于织物基质中的黄色提供光补偿。
属于光增白剂家族的荧光化合物通常为常常含有稠环环系的芳香性或芳香族杂环材料。这些化合物的特征为存在与芳环相关的共轭双键的连续链。此类共轭双键的数目取决于取代基以及分子的荧光部分的平面性。多数增白剂化合物为茋类或4,4'-二氨基茋类、联二苯、五元杂环(三唑、噁唑、咪唑等)或六元杂环(萘酰胺、三嗪等)的衍生物。用于组合物的光增白剂的选择取决于多种因子,如组合物的类型、存在于组合物中的其他组分的性质、洗涤水的温度、搅拌的程度和洗涤的材料与容器大小的比值。增白剂选择也取决于将待洗涤的材料类型,例如,棉、合成物等。因为多数洗衣洗涤剂产品被用来冲洗多种织物,洗涤剂组合物可以含有对多种织物有效的增白剂的混合物。优选地,此类增白剂混合物的个别组分是兼容的。

功能性材料可以为抗静电剂,诸如通常用于洗衣烘干行业来提供抗静电性能的那些材料。当与未经过处理的织物相比时,抗静电剂可以产生至少约50%的静电减少百分比。静电减少百分比可以大于70%并且其可以大于80%。抗静电剂的实例包括但不限于,含有季(quaternary)基团的制剂。
功能性材料可以为抗皱纹剂来提供抗皱性能。抗皱的适合的制剂的实例包括但不限于:含有化合物和季铵化合物的硅氧烷或硅胶。抗皱纹剂的特别适合的实例包括但不限于:聚二甲基硅氧烷二季铵、硅胶共聚醇脂肪季铵和带有聚氧化烯的聚二甲基硅氧烷。

功能性材料可以为包被织物的纤维来减少或阻止纤维的分解和/或降解的纤维保护剂。纤维保护剂的实例包括但不限于,纤维聚合物。
功能性材料可以为用于包被织物的纤维来减少染料逃离织物进入水中的趋势的护色剂。适合的护色剂的实例包括但不限于:季铵化合物和表面活性剂。
洗涤剂组合物中还可以包含不同的染料、包括香料的增味剂以及其他的美学增强剂。适合的香味剂或香料的实例包括但不限于:诸如香茅醇的萜类、诸如戊基肉桂醛的醛类、诸如顺茉莉或茉莉吡喃(jasmal)的茉莉和香草醛。
功能性材料可以为提供织物增加的UV防护的UV防护剂。在服装中,据信通过应用UV防护剂到服装,可能减少服装下面提供的紫外辐射对皮肤的不利影响。随着服装重量变轻,UV光具有较大的穿透服装的趋势,并且服装下面的皮肤可能被晒伤。

可以将有效量的碱金属硅酸盐或其水合物用于本发明的组合物和方法中,来形成具有金属保护能力的稳定的固体洗涤剂组合物。用于本发明的组合物的硅酸盐为常规上被用于固体洗涤剂制剂的那些硅酸盐。例如,典型的碱金属硅酸盐为无水的或优选含有水合水(约5%至约25%,尤其是约15%至约20%的水合水)的那些粉末状、颗粒状或粒状硅酸盐。这些硅酸盐优选为硅酸钠并分别具有约1:1至约1:5的Na2O:SiO2比,且通常含有约5%至约25%的量的可利用的水。通常,硅酸盐具有约1:1至约1:3.75的Na2O:SiO2比,特别是约1:1.5至约1:3.75,并且最特别是约1:1.5至约1:2.5。硅酸盐具有约1:2的Na2O:SiO2比,且约16%至约22%的水合水是最优选的。例如,此类硅酸盐可从PQ Corporation,Valley Forge,Pa得到,其中以粉末形式得到的为GD硅酸盐,且粒状形式得到的为Britesil H-20。可以使用单硅酸盐组合物或硅酸盐的组合获得这些比值,这基于优选比值的组合结果。已经发现水合优选比值的硅酸盐,约1:1.5至约1:2.5的Na2O:SiO2比,可提供优良的金属防护并且可快速形成固体洗涤剂。
可以将硅酸盐包含在洗涤剂组合物中来提供金属防护,但另外已知其可提供碱性和作为抗再沉积剂提供附加功能。典范的硅酸盐包括但不限于:硅酸钠和硅酸钾。不含有硅酸盐但当含有硅酸盐时可以提供洗涤剂组合物,包含其的量可以提供期望的金属防护。浓缩物可以包含硅酸盐的量为至少约1%、至少约5%、至少约10%和至少约15%。另外,为了提供足够的空间给浓缩物中的其他组分,可以以小于约35%、小于约25%、小于约20%和小于约15%的水平提供硅酸盐组分。
功能性材料可以为酶。可以包含在洗涤剂组合物中的酶包括帮助去除淀粉和/或蛋白质污染的那些酶。酶的典范类型包括但不限于:蛋白酶、α-淀粉酶和以上的混合物。可以使用的典范的蛋白酶包括但不限于:来源于地衣芽孢杆菌(Bacillus licheniformix)、迟缓芽孢杆菌(Bacillus lenus)、嗜碱芽孢杆菌(Bacillus alcalophilus)和解淀粉芽孢杆菌(Bacillusamyloliquefacins)的那些蛋白酶。典范的α-淀粉酶包括来源于枯草芽孢杆菌(Bacillus subtilis)、解淀粉芽孢杆菌(Bacillus amyloliquefaceins)和地衣芽孢杆菌(Bacillus licheniformis)的种类。浓缩物不一定包含酶,但当浓缩物包含酶时,可以以当涤剂组合物被作为使用组合物提供时可提供期望的酶活性的量包含酶。浓缩物中酶的通常的范围包括高至约10%、高至约5%和高至约1%。
功能性材料可以为除垢剂。在一个实施方案中,除垢剂包含约0.25wt%至约10wt%的洗涤剂组合物。在一些实施方案中,除垢剂包含约2wt%至约5wt%的洗涤剂组合物。在其他的实施方案中,除垢剂包含约0.5wt%至约1.5wt%的洗涤剂组合物。应当理解这些值和范围之间的所有的值和范围都涵盖在本发明中。
在一些实施方案中,有效量的除垢剂被应用到工业化食品加工设备,以便设备上的污垢被大幅去除。在一些实施方案中,至少约10%的积垢被从设备去除。在其他的实施方案中,至少约25%的积垢被去除。在其他的实施方案中,至少约50%的积垢被去除。在一些实施方案中,约90%的积垢被去除。
在一些实施方案中,有效量的除垢剂被应用到工业化食品加工设备,以便基本上阻止设备上污垢的形成。在一些实施方案中,至少约10%的积垢被阻止。在其他的实施方案中,至少约25%的积垢被阻止。在其他的实施方案中,至少约50%的积垢被阻止。在一些实施方案中,约90%的积垢被阻止。
功能性材料可以为氧化剂(oxidizing agent,oxidizer),诸如过氧化物或过氧酸。适合的成分为诸如亚氯酸盐、溴、溴酸盐、一氯化溴、碘、一氯化碘、碘酸盐、高锰酸盐、硝酸盐、硝酸、硼酸盐、过硼酸盐的氧化剂,和诸如臭氧、氧气、二氧化氯、氯、二氧化硫的气态氧化剂,以及以上的衍生物。包括过氧化物和不同的包括过碳酸盐的过羧酸过氧化物化合物是适合的。
过氧羧酸(或过羧酸)通常具有式R(CO3H)n,其中,例如,R为烷基、芳烷基、环烷基、芳基或杂环基,且n为1、2或3,并且通过用过氧给母酸加前缀来命名。R基可以为饱和的或不饱和的以及取代的或未取代的。中链过氧羧酸(或过羧酸(percarboxylic acids))可以具有式R(CO3H)n,其中R为C5-C11烷基、C5-C11环烷基、C5-C11芳烷基、C5-C11芳基或C5-C11杂环基;且n为1、2或3。短链脂肪酸可以具有式R(CO3H)n,其中R为C1-C4,且n为1、2或3。
适合的过氧羧酸的实例包括但不限于:过氧戊酸、过氧己酸、过氧庚酸、过氧辛酸、过氧壬酸、过氧异壬酸、过氧癸酸、过氧十一酸、过氧十二酸、过氧抗坏血酸、过氧己二酸、过氧柠檬酸、过氧庚二酸或过氧辛二酸、以上的混合物等。
适合的支链过氧羧酸的实例包括但不限于:过氧异戊酸、过氧异壬酸、过氧异己酸、过氧异庚酸、过氧异辛酸、过氧异壬酸、过氧异癸酸、过氧异十一酸、过氧异十二酸、过氧新戊酸、过氧新己酸、过氧新庚酸、过氧新辛酸、过氧新壬酸、过氧新癸酸、过氧新十一酸、过氧新十二酸、以上的混合物等。
典型的过氧化合物包括过氧化氢(Η2O2)、过乙酸、过辛酸、过硫酸盐、过硼酸盐或过碳酸盐。
洗涤剂组合物中的氧化剂的量(如果存在)为高至约40wt%。氧化剂的可接受的水平为高至约10wt%,其中高至约5%为特别适合的水平。
功能性材料可以为溶剂来提升去污性能或调整最终组合物的粘性。在去除疏水性污物中有用的适合的溶剂包括但不限于:氧化的溶剂,诸如低级烷醇、低级烷基醚、乙二醇、芳基乙二醇醚和低级烷基乙二醇醚。其他溶剂的实例包括但不限于:甲醇、乙醇、丙醇、异丙醇和丁醇、异丁醇、乙二醇、二乙二醇、三乙二醇、丙二醇、二丙二醇、混合的乙烯-丙二醇醚、乙二醇苯基醚和丙二醇苯基醚。基本上为水溶性的的乙二醇醚溶剂包括但不限于:丙二醇甲基醚、丙二醇丙基醚、二丙二醇甲基醚、三丙二醇甲基醚、乙二醇丁基醚、二乙二醇甲基醚、二乙二醇丁基醚、乙二醇二甲基醚、乙二醇丙基醚、二乙二醇乙基醚、三乙二醇甲基醚、三乙二醇乙基醚、三乙二醇丁基醚等。
当洗涤剂组合物中包含溶剂时,包含溶剂的量可以以高至约25重量%、特别是高至约15重量%且更特别是高至约5重量%。
功能性材料可以为杀虫剂,诸如驱蚊剂。可商购的杀虫剂的一个实例为DEET。另外,含水载体溶液可以包含去霉的防霉剂和可减少存在于某些织物上的过敏可能性和/或提供病菌防护性能的防过敏剂(allergicides)。
还可以包含在提供被配制包括有期望性能或功能的特定洗涤剂组合物中有用的多种其他成分。例如,洗涤剂组合物可以包含其他活性成分、清洁性酶、载体、加工助剂、用于液体制剂的溶剂或其他等。
可以将洗涤剂组合物用于,例如,汽车护理应用、器具洗涤应用、洗衣应用以及食品和饮料应用。此类应用包括但不限于:机器和手工器具洗涤、预浸、衣物和织物清洁及脱色、地毯清洁及脱色、车辆清洁及护理应用、表面清洁及脱色、厨房和浴室清洁及脱色、地板清洁及脱色、适当位置清洁操作、一般目的清洁及脱色和工业或家庭清洁剂。
通过参考以下实施例可以更好地理解本发明的化合物和方法,这些实施例试图作为本发明的说明并且不为本发明范围的限制。每个实施例阐述至少一种制备不同中间体化合物的方法并进一步阐述整个方法中使用的每种中间体。这些为某些优选的实施方案,其不试图限制本发明的范围。相反,本发明覆盖所有可以被包括在权利要求和常规实验的范围内的可选选择、修改和等同物。
实施例1:从水中螯合钙
通过确立的浊度滴定方案(Wilham,1971)测定了不同化合物和混合物的钙螯合能力。具体来说,将螯合剂(1.0g干重)溶于去离子水中来提供50g总溶液。加入2%草酸钠水溶液(3mL)后,使用稀释的HCI或1M氢氧化钠溶液相应调节pH值。用0.7%氯化钙水溶液将测试溶液滴定至开始变浑浊。加入的每mL0.7%氯化钙等同于2.53mg的螯合的Ca。组合的螯合剂(c)在其中钙螯合超过任一种组合物单独的值的那些组合物中表现出协同作用。
单独测量了组合物(a)和组合物(b)的钙螯合能力。随后,在相同的条件下使用浊度滴定测量了通过以给定比例的组合组合物(a)和组合物(b)制备的混合的组合物(c)的螯合能力。
如上所示,如果螯合能力大于组合物(a)或组合物(b)单独的螯合能力,组合物(a)和组合物(b)的组合被认为具有协同性。另外,未提纯的葡萄糖二酸盐/铝酸盐组合物表示包含葡萄糖二酸盐、葡萄糖酸盐、5-酮葡萄糖酸盐、酒石酸盐、羟丙二酸盐、乙醇酸和铝酸盐的组合物,而提纯的葡萄糖二酸盐/铝酸盐组分表示仅包含葡萄糖二酸盐和铝酸盐的组合物。该实验的结果在以下的表1-13中给出。在所有情形下,使用的阴离子螯合剂的量均以钠盐计算。

如从以上的表中的数据所证明,提纯的葡萄糖二酸盐/铝酸盐和柠檬酸盐、未提纯的葡萄糖二酸盐/铝酸盐和柠檬酸盐以及未提纯的葡萄糖二酸盐/硼砂和柠檬酸盐组合物表现出预料不到的钙螯合能力协同作用的提高,其超过任何一个螯合剂单独提供的钙螯合能力。表10和表12中提供的未提纯的葡萄糖二酸盐和柠檬酸盐以及铝酸盐和柠檬酸盐的螯合能力为可预测的,证明协同作用性能不单独取决于这些组合。相反,协同作用性能取决于所有三种类型组份的螯合剂共同发挥的作用(constituency),即羟基单羧酸盐和/或羟基二羧酸盐、含氧酸阴离子和柠檬酸盐。在表7和表8中还另外注意到该现象特定针对柠檬酸盐,且不延及至诸如EDTA和NTA的其他常见的螯合剂。
Claims (12)
1.钙螯合组合物,其包含如下的组合:(a)30重量%至75重量%的至少一种葡萄糖二酸盐、0重量%至20重量%的至少一种葡萄糖酸盐、0重量%至10重量%的至少一种5-酮-葡萄糖酸盐、0重量%至10重量%的至少一种酒石酸盐、0重量%至10重量%的至少一种丙醇二酸盐和0重量%至10重量%的至少一种乙醇酸盐;(b)1重量%至50重量%的至少一种含氧酸阴离子盐;以及(c)1重量%至10重量%的至少一种柠檬酸盐。
2.如权利要求1所述的钙螯合组合物,其中所述组合物包含40重量%至60重量%的至少一种葡萄糖二酸盐、5重量%至15重量%的至少一种葡萄糖酸盐、3重量%至9重量%的至少一种5-酮-葡萄糖酸盐、5重量%至10重量%的至少一种酒石酸盐、5重量%至10重量%的至少一种丙醇二酸盐和1重量%至5重量%的至少一种乙醇酸盐。
3.如权利要求1所述的钙螯合组合物,其中所述组合物包含45重量%至55重量%的至少一种葡萄糖二酸盐、10重量%至15重量%的至少一种葡萄糖酸盐、4重量%至6重量%的至少一种5-酮-葡萄糖酸盐、5重量%至7重量%的至少一种酒石酸盐、5重量%至7重量%的至少一种丙醇二酸盐和3重量%至5重量%的至少一种乙醇酸盐。
4.如权利要求1所述的钙螯合组合物,其中所述组合物包含50重量%的至少一种葡萄糖二酸盐、15重量%的至少一种葡萄糖酸盐、4重量%的至少一种5-酮-葡萄糖酸盐、6重量%的至少一种酒石酸盐、6重量%的至少一种丙醇二酸盐和5重量%的至少一种乙醇酸盐。
5.如权利要求1所述的钙螯合组合物,其中所述含氧酸阴离子盐包括硼酸盐、铝酸盐、锡酸盐、锗酸盐、钼酸盐、锑酸盐或以上的混合物。
6.如权利要求1所述的钙螯合组合物,其中所述至少一种含氧酸阴离子盐包括:硼酸钠、硼酸钾、八硼酸二钠、偏硼酸钠、钼酸钠、钼酸钾、铝酸钠、铝酸钾、氯化铝锡酸钠、锡酸钾、锗酸钠、锗酸钾、亚锑酸钠、亚锑酸钾或以上的混合物。
7.如权利要求1所述的钙螯合组合物,其中所述至少一种柠檬酸盐包括柠檬酸钠、柠檬酸钾、柠檬酸钙、柠檬酸镁或以上的混合物。
8.洗涤剂组合物,其包含(a)30重量%至75重量%的至少一种葡萄糖二酸盐、0重量%至20重量%的至少一种葡萄糖酸盐、0重量%至10重量%的至少一种5-酮-葡萄糖酸盐、0重量%至10重量%的至少一种酒石酸盐、0重量%至10重量%的至少一种丙醇二酸盐和0重量%至10重量%的至少一种乙醇酸盐;(b)1重量%至50重量%的至少一种含氧酸阴离子盐;以及(c)1重量%至10重量%的至少一种柠檬酸盐。
9.如权利要求8所述的洗涤剂组合物,其进一步包含一种或多种另外的功能性材料,所述功能性材料各自独立地选自:漂洗助剂、漂白剂、消毒剂/抗微生物剂、活化剂、清洁剂助洗剂或填料、pH缓冲剂、织物松弛剂、织物软化剂、去污剂、消泡剂、抗再沉积剂、稳定剂、分散剂、光增白剂、抗静电剂、抗皱纹剂、气味俘获剂、纤维保护剂、护色剂、染料/增味剂、UV防护剂、抗起球剂、防水剂、硬化剂/溶解度改性剂、玻璃和金属腐蚀抑制剂、酶、除垢剂、氧化剂、溶剂和驱虫剂。
10.如权利要求8所述的洗涤剂组合物,其中所述含氧酸阴离子盐包括:硼酸盐、铝酸盐、锡酸盐、锗酸盐、钼酸盐、锑酸盐或以上的混合物。
11.如权利要求8所述的洗涤剂组合物,其中所述至少一种含氧酸阴离子盐包括:硼酸钠、硼酸钾、八硼酸二钠、偏硼酸钠、钼酸钠、钼酸钾、铝酸钠、铝酸钾、氯化铝锡酸钠、锡酸钾、锗酸钠、锗酸钾、亚锑酸钠、亚锑酸钾或以上的混合物。
12.如权利要求8所述的洗涤剂组合物,其中所述至少一种柠檬酸盐包括柠檬酸钠、柠檬酸钾、柠檬酸钙、柠檬酸镁或以上的混合物。
